Description

Claims (14)
- 車両の質量を推定する方法であって、
前記車両は、
車両速度、車両加速度、および最大加速度を含む動作パラメータを有するとともに、
エンジンを有し、
前記エンジンは、エンジン排気量パラメータと、エンジン速度、出力、エンジン負荷、および最大出力を含むエンジン作動パラメータと、を有し
前記方法は、前記動作パラメータまたは前記エンジン作動パラメータのうちの少なくとも1つが所定の範囲内にある適格期間中に取得される車両加速度パラメータの加重平均値または移動平均値を決定するステップと、
車両加速度の前記加重平均値または移動平均値を使用して車両の質量を推定するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの動作パラメータまたはエンジン作動パラメータのうちの少なくとも1つの値は、車載診断システムの少なくとも1つの出力パラメータから取得される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 適格期間中にクランクに与えられる力を決定するためのステップをさらに備え、前記力は、ピーク出力の値から推定されるとともに、前記力と車両加速度パラメータの最大値とを用いて車両質量を推定する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 適格期間は、前記車両が最大加速度またはその付近で加速しているときの範囲にある複数の前記動作パラメータまたはエンジン作動パラメータによって決定される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 適格期間は、前記車両が最大加速度またはその付近で加速しているときの範囲にあるエンジン負荷、エンジン速度、車両加速度、および車両速度の夫々によって決定される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記範囲は、前記車両が一速に入っていることを示すように設定される請求項5に記載の方法。
- 車両のタイプに応じて異なる範囲が設定される請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 車両の質量を推定する装置であって、
前記車両は、
車両速度、車両加速度、および、最大加速度を含む動作パラメータを有するとともに、
エンジンを有し、
前記エンジンは、エンジン排気量パラメータと、エンジン速度、出力、エンジン負荷、および最大出力を含むエンジン作動パラメータと、を有し、
前記装置は、前記動作パラメータまたは前記エンジン作動パラメータのうちの少なくとも1つが所定の範囲内にある適格期間中に取得される車両加速度パラメータの加重平均値または移動平均値を決定する平均値決定手段と、
車両加速度の前記加重平均値または前記移動平均値を使用して車両の質量を推定する手段と、
を含む装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの動作パラメータまたはエンジン作動パラメータのうちの少なくとも1つの値は、車載診断システムの少なくとも1つの出力パラメータから取得される請求項8に記載の装置。
- ピーク出力の値から前記適格期間中にクランクに与えられる力を決定する力推定手段と、前記力と前記車両加速度の最大値とを用いて車両質量を推定する手段と、をさらに有する請求項8に記載の装置。
- 複数の前記動作パラメータまたは前記エンジン作動パラメータが、前記車両が最大加速度またはその付近で加速しているときの範囲にあるか否かを決定する手段をさらに有する請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記エンジン負荷、エンジン速度、前記車両加速度、および前記車両速度の夫々が、前記車両が最大加速度またはその付近で加速しているときの範囲にあるか否かを決定する手段をさらに有する請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記範囲は、前記車両が一速に入っていることを示すように設定される請求項12に記載の装置。
- 車両のタイプに応じて異なる範囲が設定される請求項8〜13の何れか1項に記載の装置。
