Description
また、本発明のさらなる目的は、ガソリンエンジンの気筒内に流す燃料と空気の比率を理論空燃比に維持しつつ、煤煙フィルターの再生が可能な温度を確保し、触媒装置の浄化性能を維持する煤煙再生システム、及びその方法を提供することにある。
前記制御パラメータは、エンジンの運転条件を含むことを特徴とする。
前記制御パラメータは、触媒の温度をさらに含むことを特徴とする。
図1は、本発明の煤煙フィルター再生システムにおける一つの実施形態の構成図である。煤煙フィルター再生システム1は、ガソリンエンジン10、触媒装置20、煤煙フィルター30、制御パラメータ測定部40、及び制御部50を有している。
図2を参照すると、煤煙フィルター30の再生は、エンジン運転中に行われる(S100)。エンジンからの排気ガスに含まれる粒子状物質は、煤煙フィルター30に捕集され、煤煙フィルター30の両端に圧力差が発生する。差圧センサ32は、煤煙フィルター30前後の圧力を検出して煤煙フィルター30の差圧を測定する。また、制御パラメータ測定部40は、煤煙フィルター30の再生に必要なエンジンの運転条件、触媒装置の温度、及び煤煙フィルター30の温度などの制御パラメータを検出する(S110)。
そこで、制御部50は、制御パラメータ測定部40によって検出された触媒装置20の温度と触媒保護温度を比較する(S220)。
制御部50は、非点火燃料の量を決めた後に、非点火燃料の量によって複数の気筒11のうち点火を中断させる気筒11の個数及び比率を決定する(S140)。制御部50は、点火を中断させる気筒11の個数及び比率によって、複数ある気筒11中の一部の気筒11の点火を中断させる。これによって、煤煙フィルター再生システム1は、再生運転モードに入る(S200)。つまり、点火が中断された気筒11内の燃料と空気は燃焼せずに、排気パイプ19を通して触媒装置20に送られる。この後の過程は、図2に示した煤煙フィルター再生システム1と同じである。

Claims (8)
- 複数の気筒と前記気筒内に流入された燃料と空気を点火させる点火装置を有するガソリンエンジンと、
前記ガソリンエンジンと連結した前記排気パイプに設置されて、前記ガソリンエンジンからの排気ガスを酸化−還元させる触媒装置と、
前記排気パイプの前記触媒装置の下流側に設置されて、前記排気ガスに含まれている粒子状物質(Particulate Matters)を捕集し、前記排気ガスの温度を利用して前記粒子状物質を再生させることができる煤煙フィルターと、
前記煤煙フィルターの前後に設置されて、前記煤煙フィルターの差圧を測定する差圧センサと、
前記複数の気筒のうちの一部の気筒に流入させた燃料と空気が燃焼されていない状態で前記触媒装置に排出されるように前記一部気筒に対する点火を中断させる制御部と、
を有してなることを特徴とする煤煙フィルター再生システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記差圧センサで測定された差圧と制御パラメータの入力を受けて、点火を中断させる気筒数を決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の煤煙フィルター再生システム。
- 前記制御パラメータは、エンジンの運転条件を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の煤煙フィルター再生システム。
- 前記制御パラメータは、触媒の温度をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の煤煙フィルター再生システム。
- 複数の気筒と前記気筒内に流入された燃料と空気を点火させる点火装置を有するガソリンエンジン、前記ガソリンエンジンから発生した排気ガスを酸化−還元させる触媒装置、及び前記排気ガスに含まれている粒子状物質を捕集する煤煙フィルターを含む煤煙フィルター再生システムで前記煤煙フィルターを再生する方法であって、
前記ガソリンエンジンの運転中に前記煤煙フィルターの差圧と予め設定された差圧を比較する段階と、
前記煤煙フィルターの差圧が、予め設定された差圧より大きいかまたは同じであるとき、前記ガソリンエンジンの複数の気筒のうちの一部気筒に対する点火を中断させる段階と、
前記点火が中断された一部気筒で燃焼されていない燃料と空気が前記触媒装置で酸化する段階と、
前記触媒装置で発生した酸化熱を利用して前記煤煙フィルターを再生する段階と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする煤煙フィルター再生方法。
- 前記煤煙フィルターの再生中の前記触媒装置の温度を、触媒が高温により損傷しないように予め設定された触媒保護温度と比較する段階と、
前記触媒装置の温度が前記触媒保護温度より高いかまたは同じであるとき、前記煤煙フィルターの再生維持の要否を判断する段階と、
前記煤煙フィルターの再生を維持させるとき、前記点火を中断させる気筒数を再決定する段階と、
をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の煤煙フィルター再生方法。
- 前記点火を中断させる段階において、点火を中断させる一部気筒の個数は、エンジンの運転条件に応じて決定されることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の煤煙フィルター再生方法。
- 前記点火を中断させる気筒の個数を再決定する段階は、エンジンの運転条件と触媒温度に応じて行われることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の煤煙フィルター再生方法。
