Claims (5)
- 排気通路に設けられた粒子状物質を捕集する機能を有する排気処理装置と、
該排気処理装置よりも上流側に設けられた燃料添加手段と、
該燃料添加手段と前記排気処理装置との間に設けられた加熱手段と、
前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の作動により生成した粒子状物質の量を見積もる粒子状物質量見積手段と、
該粒子状物質量見積手段により見積もられた粒子状物質の量に基づいて前記排気処理装置における粒子状物質の総量を見積もる総量見積手段と、
該総量見積手段により見積もられた粒子状物質の総量に基づいて前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の作動を制御する制御手段と
を備えた、内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記粒子状物質量見積手段は、前記燃料添加手段により添加された燃料を含む流体の状態に基づいて、前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の作動により生成した粒子状物質の量を見積もる、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記排気処理装置上流側の火炎生成領域よりも上流側の流体の温度を検出するための温度検出装置をさらに備え、
前記粒子状物質量見積手段は、前記温度検出装置により検出された流体の温度に基づいて前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の作動により生成した粒子状物質の量を見積もる、請求項2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記燃料添加手段により添加された燃料を含む流体における空燃比を検出する空燃比検出装置をさらに備え、
前記粒子状物質量見積手段は、前記空燃比検出装置により検出された空燃比に基づいて前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の作動により生成した粒子状物質の量を見積もる、請求項2または3に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記粒子状物質量見積手段は、前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の少なくとも一方の作動時間に基づいて、前記燃料添加手段および前記加熱手段の作動により生成した粒子状物質の量を見積もる、請求項2から4のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
