Claims (10)
- 相手コンタクト(32)を内部に受容するためのレセプタクルコンタクト(10)であって、前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)が接触部(30)を有し、前記接触部(30)は、
複数の側壁(38,40)を有し、前記側壁(38,40)の各々が内部に設けられる開口(50)を有し、
前記側壁(38,40)間に延設された弾性コンタクトアーム(54)を有し、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)が固定端(59)と先端(58)とを有し、少なくとも1つの第1の接触領域(62)が前記先端(58)に近接して配置され、
前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)から延設された突起(72)を有し、前記突起(72)が前記側壁(38,40)の前記開口(50)を貫通し、
前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)上に設けられた低強度領域(76)を有し、前記低強度領域(76)が前記固定端(59)と前記突起(72)との間に配置され、前記低強度領域(76)が前記低強度領域(76)に近接して配置される第2の接触領域(77)を有し、
それによって、前記突起(72)は、前記相手コンタクト(32)が前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)に挿入されると前記側壁(38,40)の前記開口(50)の上壁と係合し、前記低強度領域(76)に近接する前記第2の接触領域(77)を前記相手コンタクト(32)と係合するように移動させ、それにより、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)と前記相手コンタクト(32)との間に複数の接触領域を提供し、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)と前記相手コンタクト(32)との間で安定した信頼できる電気的接続を行うレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。 - 前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)が、前記低強度領域(76)から前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記先端(58)まで延設された2つの二股ビーム(70)を有する請求項1に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1の接触領域(62)が前記二股ビーム(70)の夫々に設けられている請求項2に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)が第3の接触領域(60)を有する第2のコンタクトアーム(52)を有し、前記第3の接触領域(60)が前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記少なくとも1つの第1の接触領域(62)と前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記低強度領域(76)との間に横方向に配置される請求項3に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)を支持するために前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)の先端に近接して支持アーム(64)が設けられる請求項4に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)が前記側壁(38,40)間に延設された底壁(34)を有し、前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)の正面に近接する前記底壁(34)上に支持装置(66)が設けられ、前記支持装置(66)が前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)と連携し、前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)に印加された力が前記支持装置(66)を介して前記底壁(34)へ伝達されることができるようにする請求項4に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)が前記側壁(38,40)間に延設された底壁(34)を有し、前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)の先端(56)に近接する底壁(34)上に過大応力突起(67)が設けられ、前記過大応力突起(67)が前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)と連携し、前記第2のコンタクトアーム(52)が永久歪みを生じるのを防止する請求項4に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)が前記側壁(38,40)間に延設された上壁(36)を有し、前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)の正面に近接する前記上壁(36)上に支持装置(68)が設けられ、前記支持装置(68)が前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)と連携し、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)に印加された力が前記支持装置(68)を介して前記上壁(36)へ伝達されることができるようにする請求項1に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 前記側壁(38,40)間に第2の弾性コンタクトアーム(52)が延設され、前記第2の弾性コンタクトアーム(52)が、固定端と自由端(56)を有し、第3の接触領域(60)を前記第2の弾性コンタクトアーム(52)の前記自由端(56)に近接して配置され、前記第3の接触領域(60)が前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記少なくとも1つの接触領域(62)と前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記低強度領域(76)との間に横方向に配置され、それによって、前記相手コンタクト(32)が前記レセプタクルコンタクト(10)に挿入されると前記突起(72)が前記開口(50)の前記上壁と係合し、前記低強度領域(76)に近接する前記第2の接触領域(77)を前記相手コンタクト(32)と係合するように移動させ、それにより、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)と第2の弾性コンタクトアーム(52)と、前記相手コンタクト(32)との間に複数の接触領域を提供し、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)と第2の弾性コンタクトアーム(52)と、前記相手コンタクト(32)との間に安定した信頼できる電気的接続を提供する請求項1に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)。
- 請求項1に記載のレセプタクルコンタクト(10)内に相手コンタクト(32)を挿入する方法であって、
前記弾性コンタクトアーム(52)を前記相手コンタクト(32)と係合させること、
前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)を非応力位置から移動させること、
前記開口(50)の前記上壁を前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記突起(72)と係合させて前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記低強度領域(76)の更なる移動を防止すること、
前記突起(72)が前記開口(50)の前記壁と係合した後、前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の前記低強度領域(76)を回りに前記弾性コンタクトアーム(54)の一部を移動させることを備える方法。
