Claims (6)
- 加工すべき円筒面状のシール面を有するワークをその軸心廻りに回転させつつ、回転している切削工具にて前記シール面を切削して仕上げるシール面の加工方法であって、
前記シール面は、等速自在継手の外側継手部材に設けられるシール面、または軸受装置に設けられるシール面であり、
前記切削工具は、切削部を軸方向端面部にて構成したミリング工具であり、このミリング工具を、その軸心が加工すべきシール面に対して直交した状態で、その軸心廻りに回転させつつ加工すべきシール面の軸心方向に往復動させて、前記切削部でもって前記シール面を、リード目のない焼入鋼切削にて切削することを特徴とするシール面の加工方法。 - 前記ワークが等速自在継手の外側継手部材であり、前記シール面が外側継手部材のステム部外径面であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシール面
の加工方法。 - 前記ワークが等速自在継手の外側継手部材であり、前記シール面が外側継手部材のオイルシール面であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシール面の加工方法。
- 前記ワークがシャフトであり、前記シール面が等速自在継手用ブーツ装着面であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシール面の加工方法。
- 前記ワークが、内周に複列の外側軌道面を有する外方部材と、外周面に前記複列の外側軌道面に対応した内側軌道面を有する内方部材と、前記内外軌道面間に転動自在に配される転動体と、前記転動体を保持する保持器とを備えた軸受装置であり、前記シール面が外方部材に設けられるシール面であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシール面の加工方法。
- 前記ワークが車輪取付用のフランジを有するハブ輪を備えた車輪用軸受装置であり、前
記シール面が前記ハブ輪に設けられるシール面であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシール面の加工方法。
