Claims (4)
- オイルシール嵌合部を外周面に有する軸状ワークをその軸線回りに回転駆動する主軸台と、工具タレットと、前記工具タレットを軸状ワークの半径方向に移動させる駆動機構と、前記工具タレットに対して軸状ワークの半径方向に移動可能に取付けられたスライド台と、前記スライド台に回転自在に取付けられ、オイルシール嵌合部に対して軸状ワークの半径方向に進退自在な弾性砥石と、前記スライド台を前記工具タレットに対して前記主軸台の軸線に臨んで前後動させ、所定以上の負荷が作用すると前記スライド台の前記工具タレットに対する後退を許容する第1駆動手段とを有し、
前記弾性砥石をオイルシール嵌合部に当接させた状態で、前記駆動機構により前記工具タレットを軸状ワークに向けて移動させると共に、前記第1駆動手段により前記スライド台及び前記弾性砥石を前記工具タレットに対して常に後退させながら研磨を行うことで、前記弾性砥石を常に一定の圧力でオイルシール嵌合部に当接させる研磨装置付き旋盤。 - 前記弾性砥石は弾性砥石ホイールであり、前記弾性砥石ホイールを回転させる第2駆動手段を有する請求項1記載の研磨装置付き旋盤。
- 請求項1又は2の研磨装置付き旋盤を用いて行う軸状ワークの加工方法であって、
前記弾性砥石をオイルシール嵌合部に当接させた状態で、前記駆動機構により前記工具タレットを軸状ワークに向けて移動させると共に、前記第1駆動手段により前記スライド台及び前記弾性砥石を前記工具タレットに対して常に後退させながら研磨を行うことで、前記弾性砥石を常に一定の圧力でオイルシール嵌合部に当接させることを特徴とする軸状ワークの加工方法。 - 前記主軸台により軸状ワークをその軸線回りに回転駆動しながら、前記工具タレットに取付けたバイトによって軸状ワークの外周面のオイルシール嵌合部を切削加工するステップと、前記工具タレットを回転させて前記弾性砥石を軸状ワークのオイルシール嵌合部に臨ませるステップと、前記主軸台により軸状ワークをその軸線回りに回転駆動しながら、前記弾性砥石をオイルシール嵌合部に当接させてオイルシール嵌合部を研磨するステップとを有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の軸状ワークの加工方法。
