Description
Claims (14)
- 車両に取り付けられた位置で膨張した状態にあるときに車両の内部の側面構造(10)を覆うように成形された主チャンバ(3)を備えた車両用のカーテンエアバッグ(100)であって、
取り付けられた位置において前記主チャンバ(3)の車両前部の走行方向に位置し、当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)の膨張時に車両の車内(1)の方向に広がる追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)を備え、
前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、分離線(13)をヒンジとして使用して前記主チャンバ(3)へと後方に折り返されていることを特徴とするカーテンエアバッグ(100)。 - 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)は、取り付け位置における当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)の膨張長さが上縁(101)よりも下縁(102)において長くなるように成形されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、膨張した状態において、車両の長手方向に斜め上方を向くことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、前記主チャンバ(3)から少なくとも部分的に隔てられたチャンバ空間によって形成され、該空間は、当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)の膨張状態において車両の長手方向に斜め上方へと延びる分離線(13、13a、13b、13c)によって、前記主チャンバ(3)から隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 少なくとも2つの追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が設けられており、該少なくとも2つの追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、斜めを向いた分離線(13、13a、13b、13c)によって前記主チャンバ(3)から隔てられ、あるいは互いに隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記分離線(13、13a、13b、13c)が、縫い目によって実現されていることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 一端が第1の取り付け点(15)において前記主チャンバ(3)へと取り付けられ、他端が第2の取り付け点(16)において前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)へと取り付けられた引っ張りストラップ(12)
を備えており、 前記引っ張りストラップ(12)が、引っ張りストラップ(12)を備えずに当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)を膨張させたときに生じる前記第1および第2の取り付け点(15、16)の間の最大距離よりも短いことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。 - 前記第2の取り付け点(16)および前記第1の取り付け点(15)が、当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)の膨張時に、前記第2の取り付け点(16)が前記第1の取り付け点(15)の下方に位置し、かつ車両の長手方向において前記第1の取り付け点(15)の前方に位置するようなやり方で、当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)に位置していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、前記主チャンバ(3)に対して実質的に垂直に膨張することを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 当該カーテンエアバッグ(100)が、少なくとも前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)を前記主チャンバ(3)の下縁から下方へと部位(21)によって延長するようなやり方で形作られていることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、前記主チャンバ(3)の取り付けタブ(104)へと折り返される取り付けタブ(103)を備えており、該取り付けタブ(103)が、両方のタブ(103、104)を一緒に車両の内部の側面構造(10)に固定するための共通の固定要素にて前記主チャンバ(3)の取り付けタブ(104)に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、垂直方向に延びる分離線(13)によって前記主チャンバ(3)から隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、非膨張部分(26)を囲む2つの間隔を空けて位置する分離線(13e、13f)によって、前記主チャンバ(3)または別の追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)から隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
- 前記追加のチャンバ(11、11a、11b、11c)が、閉じた環(13d)にて延びる分離線(13)によって前記主チャンバ(3)から隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のカーテンエアバッグ(100)。
