Description
液体の流路を形成する第1の器具と、
前記第1の器具の液体の流路によって受容可能な第2の器具と、
前記第2の器具が前記第1の器具の流路内に受容された状態であってもなくても、前記第1の器具の流路を通じた液体の流れのインピーダンスを略一定に維持するための手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする外科用システム。

流体の流れのインピーダンスを略一定に維持するための手段が、前記第1の器具に結合されたバルブを備えていることを特徴とする付記項1に記載のシステム。

前記バルブが、前記第1の器具の流路を通じた液体の流れのインピーダンスが、前記第2の器具が前記第1の器具の流路に受容されておらず、前記第1の器具の流路が前記第2の器具によって部分的に遮断された状態で略一定とされることを特徴とする付記項2に記載のシステム。

前記システムは、ポンプをさらに備え、
前記第1の器具は、前記ポンプが前記第1の器具の流路を通じて液体を注入するように前記ポンプに接続された構成とされていることを特徴とする付記項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。

前記ポンプは、膨張性を有する器官内部の圧力を約60mmHg〜約120mmHgの間で略一定に維持するために、前記第1の器具の流路を通じて注入するようにプログラミングされていることを特徴とする付記項9に記載のシステム。

特定の流量で流れのインピーダンスを感知するために前記ポンプに結合されたセンサと、感知された流れのインピーダンスを前記特定の流量についての所定の流れのインピーダンスと比較し、前記第1の器具及び前記第2の器具の識別を検査するために、前記センサ及び前記ポンプに結合された制御装置と、をさらに備えていることを特徴とする付記項9又は10に記載のシステム。

前記第2の器具は、吸入源と流通した流路を有し、前記第2の器具の流路を通じて作用する吸引量を調整するために前記第2の器具の流路と前記吸入源との間に載置された調整器をさらに備えていること特徴とする付記項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
(a)第1の器具に結合されたバルブを第1の位置に位置決めするステップと、
(b)前記第1の位置の前記バルブを用いて前記バルブ、さらに前記第1の器具の流路を通じて膨張性を有する器官に液体を導くステップと、
(c)前記バルブを第2の位置に位置決めするステップと、
(d)前記第2の位置の前記バルブを用いて前記バルブ、さらに前記第1の器具の流路を通じて第2の器具を導くステップと、
(e)前記第2の位置の前記バルブを用いて前記バルブ、さらに前記第1の器具と前記第2の器具との間に位置する前記第1の器具の流路の所定領域を通じて前記膨張性を有する器官に液体を導くステップと、
を備え、
ステップ(b)及びステップ(e)における液体の流れのインピーダンスが略同一とされることを特徴とする方法。

前記第2の器具が前記第1の器具の流路内に受容されてもされなくても、前記膨張性を有する器官内部の液圧を略一定に維持するステップをさらに備えていることを特徴とする付記項13の方法。

前記維持するステップは、前記第2の器具を通じて前記膨張性を有する器官から液体を吸入するステップを備えていることを特徴とする付記項14に記載の方法。

前記バルブを通じて液体を導くために前記バルブに結合されたポンプを調整するステップをさらに備えていることを特徴とする付記項13〜15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。

前記開口部は、前記外科用器具を受容するために前記本体を貫通したスルーボアを含んでいることを特徴とする付記項17に記載のバルブ。

前記センサに結合され、感知された流れのインピーダンスを特定の流量についての所定の流れのインピーダンスと比較し、前記内視鏡及び前記内視鏡に受容される外科用器具の識別を検査するようにプログラミングされている制御装置と、

前記特定の流量で前記内視鏡及び前記外科用器具組立体を通じて液体を注入するために前記ポンプを動作させるステップと、
前記外科用器具組立体を通じて流れのインピーダンスを感知するステップと、
前記感知された流れのインピーダンスを前記所定の流れのインピーダンスと比較するステップと、
を備えていることを特徴とする方法。

前記流れのインピーダンスが前記所定の流れのインピーダンスの閾値の範囲内でない場合に前記ポンプを停止させるステップをさらに備えていることを特徴とする付記項37に記載の方法。

前記第2の器具の流路を通じて作用する吸入量を調節するために、前記第2の器具の流路と前記吸入源との間で前記第2の器具の流路に結合された調節器をさらに備えていることを特徴とする付記項40に記載のシステム。

前記調節器は、閾値よりも低い吸入圧力を維持するように構成されていることを特徴とする付記項41に記載のシステム。

Claims (8)
- ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内部の本体であって、該本体自体に開口部を形成し、前記開口部及び前記ハウジングが第1のインピーダンスを有した第1の液体の流路を形成している第1の位置と前記開口部が前記開口部自体に外科用器具を受容するように配置されている第2の位置との間で前記ハウジングに相対的に移動可能とされる前記本体と、
を備え、
前記開口部は、前記外科用器具が前記開口部に受容された状態で、前記開口部及び前記ハウジングが前記第1のインピーダンスと略同一の第2のインピーダンスを有した第2の液体の流路を形成するように構成されていることを特徴とするバルブ。 - 前記開口部は、前記外科用器具を受容するために前記本体を貫通したスルーボアを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルブ。
- 前記開口部は、前記本体内に第1の開端部及び第2の閉端部を有した第2のボアをさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルブ。
- 前記第2のボアは、前記スルーボアに対して略直角に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバルブ。
- 前記第2のボアは、前記スルーボアと交差していることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載のバルブ。
- 前記ハウジングは、入口及び出口を形成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のバルブ。
- 前記本体が前記第1の位置に位置する場合に、前記スルーボアは前記入口と共に部分的に位置合わせされ、前記第1の液体の流路は前記入口から前記スルーボア、さらに前記第2のボアを通じて前記出口に至ることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバルブ。
- 前記本体が前記第2の位置に位置する場合に、前記第2のボアは前記入口と共に位置合わせされ、前記第2の液体の流路は前記入口から前記第2のボア、さらに前記スルーボアを通じて前記出口に至ることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバルブ。
