従来の技術
図1を参照しながら説明する。離型ウェブ状基材を製造する機械10は、供給ローラー14から供給され巻き取りローラー16に巻き取られる型押しウェブ12を備える。前記型押しウェブ12は、離型ウェブの基材が挟まれる複製表面18を提供する。被覆部位20において硬化性被覆が表面18に塗布される。硬化性被覆が硬化した際に型押しウェブから離型できるような型押しウェブおよび硬化性被覆が選択される。
次いで図2を参照しながら説明する。上記機械10のように、完成製品を製造する機械10´は、供給ローラー14から供給され、巻き取りローラー16に巻き取られる型押しウェブ12を備える。前記型押しウェブ12は、完成製品のための前記基材が挟まれる複製表面18を提供する。被覆部位20において硬化性被覆が表面18に塗布される。硬化性被覆が硬化した際に型押しウェブから離型できるような型押しウェブおよび硬化性被覆が選択される。図2に示され、以下に説明される技術の重要な利点は、前記複製表面18の表面の型が硬化被覆に100%の忠実度で再生されることである。このように本技術は、大変に緻密なオリジナルのパターンの前記硬化被覆の表面への実質的に100%の忠実度での再生を可能とする。
ある実施形態では、型押し媒体(例えば、図1に示す型押しウェブ12)は、硬化性液体の基材への塗布、例えば鋳型のローラーなどによる被覆への型の付与、硬化被覆のある前記基材の型を付与する表面からの離型を含む方法により製造することができる。
図1に示される製造過程で用いられる前記基材22は、硬化性被覆が接着できる所望の任意のシート状またはウェブ状の原料、例えば、紙または膜である。通常被覆が接着しないポリマー性膜も、例えば 火炎処理、コロナ放電や接着促進剤の前塗装などにより取り扱うことができる。好適な基材には、紙、ポリエステル膜、三酢酸セルロース膜、2軸配向(延伸)のポリスチレンまたはアクリル系化合物が含まれる。図2に示される製造過程で好適に使用される基材は、これらの基材および上述の他の基材を含む。
本発明の一連の実施例はすでに述べられている。しかしながら本発明の精神と範囲を逸脱しない限り、各種の変更が可能であることが理解されるべきである。

Claims (18)
- 型押し表面を有する素材の製造法であって、該製造方法は、
可撓性ウェブと複製面を決定する三次元の型を持つ表面層とを含む型押し媒体を提供する工程であって、前記三次元の型は複製パターンが彫刻された回転無限表面により前記表面層に付与され、硬化する前の前記表面層は20〜50%のアクリルオリゴマーと、15〜35%の単官能基性モノマーと、20〜50%の多官能基性モノマーと、を具備している工程;
型押し表面が塗布される基材を提供する工程;
前記複製面および/または前記基材に硬化性被覆を塗布する工程;
前記基材を前記型押し媒体と、前記被覆が前記基材と前記型押し媒体との間に挟まれるように当接させる工程;
前記被覆を硬化させる工程;および
硬化された前記被覆が前記基材上に残留するように前記基材を前記型押し媒体から離型する工程、を含んだ製造方法。 - 前記硬化が前記型押し媒体を通した照射より成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造法。
- 前記型押し媒体を提供する工程が、前記可撓性ウェブに硬化性被覆を塗布し、彫刻された回転無限表面により型を前記被覆に付与し、前記表面層を形成するために前記被覆を硬化することより成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造法。
- 前記彫刻した複製面を有する回転無限表面がローラーであることを特徴とする請求項3記載の製造法。
- 前記型押し媒体が連続ウェブから成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造法。
- 被覆の塗布、硬化および剥ぎ取り工程のあいだ、前記型押し媒体が供給ローラーから引き出され、巻き取りローラーに巻き取られることをさらに含んでいることを特徴とする請求項5記載の製造法。

前記彫刻された回転無限表面の前記三次元のパターンが前記被覆に100%の厳密さで再生され、前記基材の物理的性質が前記被覆に型の付与と硬化を行う前の前記基材の物理的性質と実質的に同じであることを特徴とする型押しされた製品であって、当該製品は、
可撓性ウェブと複製面を決定する三次元の型を持つ表面層とを含む型押し媒体を提供する工程であって、前記三次元の型は複製パターンが彫刻された回転無限表面により前記表面層に付与され、硬化する前の前記表面層は20〜50%のアクリルオリゴマーと、15〜35%の単官能基性モノマーと、20〜50%の多官能基性モノマーと、を具備している工程;
型押し表面が塗布される基材を提供する工程;
前記複製面および/または前記基材に硬化性被覆を塗布する工程;

- 型押し表面を有する素材の製造法であって、該製造方法は、
可撓性ウェブと該可撓性ウェブ上の第1硬化性被覆とを含んだ型押し媒体を提供する工程であって、前記第1硬化性被覆は、20〜50%のアクリルオリゴマーと、15〜35%の単官能基性モノマーと、20〜50%の多官能基性モノマーと、を具備し、彫刻されたロールを使用して三次元の型を前記第1硬化性被覆に付与し、且つ前記第1硬化性被覆を硬化させる工程、
型押し表面が塗布される基材を提供する工程、
複製表面および/または前記基材に第2硬化性被覆を塗布する工程、
前記基材を前記型押し媒体と、前記被覆が前記基材と前記型押し媒体との間に挟まれるように当接させる工程、
前記型押し媒体を介して放射線を与えることによって、前記第2硬化性被覆を硬化させる工程、および
前記第2硬化性被覆によって硬化された被覆が前記基材上に残留するように前記基材を前記型押し媒体から離型する工程、を含んだ製造方法。 - 型押し表面を有する素材の製造法であって、該製造方法は、
ウェブ紙またはウェブフィルムと複製面を決定する三次元の型を持つ表面層とを含む型押し媒体を提供する工程であって、前記三次元の型は複製パターンが彫刻された回転無限表面により前記表面層に付与され、硬化する前の前記表面層は20〜50%のアクリルオリゴマーと、15〜35%の単官能基性モノマーと、20〜50%の多官能基性モノマーと、を具備している工程、
型押し表面が塗布される基材を提供する工程、
前記複製面および/または前記基材に硬化性被覆を塗布する工程、
前記基材を前記型押し媒体と、前記被覆が前記基材と前記型押し媒体との間に挟まれるように当接させる工程
紫外線または電子ビーム放射を使用して前記被覆を硬化させる工程;および
硬化された前記被覆が前記基材上に残留するように前記基材を前記型押し媒体から離型する工程、を含み、
前記複製面の三次元の型の逆は100%の厳密性によって硬化された前記被覆内に再生されている製造方法。
