Description
従って、上記の特徴構成によれば、ロータの軸第一方向側からコイルエンド部へ油が供給される構造の回転電機において、軸第一方向側のコイルエンド部に加えて軸第二方向側のコイルエンド部の冷却をも十分に行うことができる構造を実現することができる。
また、この構成では、ロータが周方向に分散配置されて軸方向に沿って延びる複数の永久磁石を有する場合であっても、永久磁石が形成する磁界に第三油路が影響を及ぼすのを抑制することができる。
ところで、ハウジングの内部が液密状態とされて所定圧以上の油で満たされた構成では、ハウジングの内部の油をそのまま径方向外側へと導いてコイルエンド部の冷却に利用することは困難である。この点、上記の特徴構成では、ロータの軸第一方向側に設けられる支持壁にコイルエンド部へ供給される油が流通する油流通部が設けられると共にロータ支持部材の軸第一方向側の端部に油捕集部が設けられ、油流通部を流通した油を油捕集部により捕集して、軸方向両側のコイルエンド部の冷却のために利用することができる。よって、上記のようにハウジングの内部の油をそのまま径方向外側へと導くことができない場合であっても、軸方向両側のコイルエンド部の冷却を適切に行うことができる。
まず、本実施形態に係るハイブリッド駆動装置Hの全体構成について説明する。図1に示すように、このハイブリッド駆動装置Hは、車両の第一の駆動力源としての内燃機関Eに駆動連結される入力軸Iと、車両の第二の駆動力源としての回転電機MGと、変速機構TMと、回転電機MGに駆動連結されると共に変速機構TMに駆動連結される中間軸Mと、車輪Wに駆動連結される出力軸Oと、を備えている。また、ハイブリッド駆動装置Hは、入力軸Iと中間軸Mとの間の駆動力の伝達及び遮断を切替可能に設けられるクラッチCLと、カウンタギヤ機構Cと、出力用差動歯車装置DFと、を備えている。これらの各構成は、ケース(駆動装置ケース)1内に収容されている。
次に、本実施形態に係るハイブリッド駆動装置Hの各部の構成について説明する。図2に示すように、ケース1は、少なくとも回転電機MG及びクラッチCLを収容している。ケース1は、回転電機MGや変速機構TM等の各収容部品の外周を覆うケース周壁2と、当該ケース周壁2の軸第二方向A2側(内燃機関E側であって図2における右側、以下同じ。)の開口を塞ぐ第一支持壁3と、当該第一支持壁3よりも軸第一方向A1側(内燃機関Eとは反対側であって図2における左側、以下同じ。)において軸方向で回転電機MGと変速機構TMとの間に配置される第二支持壁8と、を備えている。更に、図示はしていないが、このケース1は、ケース周壁2の軸方向他方側の端部を塞ぐ端部支持壁を備えている。
次に、本実施形態に係る回転電機MGの冷却構造について、図2及び図3を参照して説明する。本実施形態に係る回転電機MGは、基本的に、ロータRoの軸第一方向A1側から供給される油によりコイルエンド部Ceが冷却される構造を有する。以下、詳細に説明する。
最後に、本発明に係る回転電機及び車両用駆動装置の、その他の実施形態について説明する。なお、以下のそれぞれの実施形態で開示される特徴構成は、その実施形態でのみ適用されるものではなく、矛盾が生じない限り、他の実施形態で開示される特徴構成と組み合わせて適用することも可能である。

Claims (8)
- 軸方向両側にコイルエンド部を有するステータの径方向内側でロータ支持部材を介して回転可能に支持されたロータを備えると共に、前記ロータの軸方向一方側である軸第一方向側から前記軸方向両側のコイルエンド部へ油が供給される構造の回転電機であって、
前記ロータ支持部材の前記軸第一方向側の端部に設けられる油捕集部と、
前記ロータ及び前記ロータ支持部材の少なくとも一方に設けられ、前記油捕集部から第一開口部及び第二開口部に連通する連通油路と、を備え、
前記第一開口部が、前記軸第一方向側の前記コイルエンド部の径方向内側で開口し、
前記第二開口部が、前記ロータの軸方向他方側である軸第二方向側の前記コイルエンド部の径方向内側で開口している回転電機。 - 前記ロータ支持部材は、前記軸第一方向側に突出する円筒状の軸方向突出部を有し、
前記軸方向突出部の前記軸第一方向側の一方側端面に対して前記軸第二方向側に窪んだ形状を有して径方向内側に開口する凹部が設けられると共に、前記一方側端面に接して固定されて前記凹部の前記軸第一方向側を覆う被覆部材を備え、
前記凹部と前記被覆部材とにより画定されるポケット状空間として前記油捕集部が形成されている請求項1に記載の回転電機。 - 前記連通油路が、前記油捕集部から延びる共通油路と、前記共通油路から分岐して前記第一開口部に連通する油路と、前記共通油路から分岐して前記第二開口部に連通する油路と、を有する請求項1又は2に記載の回転電機。
- 前記ロータ支持部材は、径方向内側から前記ロータを支持する円筒状の内側支持部と、当該内側支持部から径方向外側に向かって延在して前記軸第一方向側から前記ロータを支持する円環状の一方側支持部と、を有し、
前記油捕集部から前記一方側支持部の中を前記軸第二方向側に向かって軸方向に延びる第一油路と、
前記第一油路から分岐して前記一方側支持部の中を径方向外側に延び、前記一方側支持部の外周面に開口する前記第一開口部に連通する第二油路と、
前記第一油路から更に前記軸第二方向側に向かって延び、前記ロータ又は前記ロータ支持部材の前記軸第二方向側の端面に開口する前記第二開口部に連通する第三油路と、を有する請求項3に記載の回転電機。 - 前記第三油路が、前記ロータの内周面と前記内側支持部の外周面との接合面に沿って形成されている請求項4に記載の回転電機。
- 前記ロータに対して前記軸第二方向側から接するように配置され、前記軸第二方向側から前記ロータを保持する円環状のロータ保持部材と、
前記内側支持部に外挿される前記ロータ保持部材を前記軸第二方向側から押さえるカシメ部と、を備え、
前記カシメ部が、前記第三油路から供給される油を前記コイルエンド部へと導くガイド部とされている請求項5に記載の回転電機。 - 前記連通油路が、前記油捕集部から前記第一開口部に連通する油路と、前記油捕集部から前記第二開口部に連通する油路と、を独立して有する請求項1、2又は6に記載の回転電機。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の回転電機と、摩擦係合装置と、少なくとも前記回転電機及び前記摩擦係合装置を収容するケースと、を備え、
前記ケースは、前記ロータの前記軸第一方向側に前記ロータ支持部材を回転可能に支持する支持壁を有し、
前記ロータ支持部材の少なくとも一部を利用して前記摩擦係合装置の周囲を覆うハウジングが構成されると共に、前記ロータの径方向内側で、前記ハウジングの内部に前記摩擦係合装置が液密状態で配置され、
前記ハウジングの内部が所定圧以上の油で満たされており、
前記支持壁に、前記軸方向両側のコイルエンド部へ供給される油が流通する油流通部が設けられている車両用駆動装置。
