Description
QS2、LiQS2、V2O5、LiV2O5、LiIO2、LiNiVO4、Li(3−f)J2(PO4)3(0≦f≦2)、Li(3−f)Fe2(PO4)3(0≦f≦2)、LiFePO4の化学式のうち、いずれか一つによって表現される化合物を使用でき、前記化学式において、Aは、Ni、Co、Mn、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Bは、Al、Ni、Co、Mn、Cr、Fe、Mg、Sr、V、希土類元素またはそれらの組み合わせ;Dは、O、F、S、P、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Eは、Co、Mn、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Fは、F、S、P、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Gは、Al、Cr、Mn、Fe、Mg、La、Ce、Sr、V、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Qは、Ti、Mo、Mn、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Iは、Cr、V、Fe、Sc、Y、またはそれらの組み合わせ;Jは、V、Cr、Mn、Co、Ni、Cu、またはそれらの組み合わせである。
エチレンカーボネート30体積%、ジエチルカーボネート50体積%及びエチルメチルカーボネート20体積%からなる混合有機溶媒に、添加剤として下記化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%添加し、リチウム塩としては、1.3M LiPF6を使用し、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
前記添加剤として化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%使用した代わりに、下記化学式7の2−アゼチジノン1重量%を使用したことを除いては前記実施例1と同じ方法で、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
前記添加剤として化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%使用した代わりに、前記5−メチル−2−ピロリジノン9重量%を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
前記添加剤として化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%使用した代わりに、前記5−メチル−2−ピロリジノン35重量%を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
前記添加剤として化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%使用した代わりに、下記化学式8の1−エチル−4、5−ジメチル−2−ピロリジノン1.5重量%を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
前記添加剤として化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%使用した代わりに、下記化学式9の5−エテニル−6−メチル−2−ピペリジノン1重量%を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
エチレンカーボネート30体積%、ジエチルカーボネート50体積%及びエチルメチルカーボネート20体積%からなる混合有機溶媒に、リチウム塩として1.3M LiPF6を使用し、添加剤なしにリチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
前記添加剤として化学式6の5−メチル−2−ピロリジノンを0.5重量%使用した代わりに、下記化学式10の1−エチル−2−ピロリジノン1重量%を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例1と同じ方法で、リチウム二次電池用の電解質を製造した。
カソード物質としてのLi1.25NiCoMnO2粉末、N−メチルピロリドン(NMP)にポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)が5重量%溶解された結合剤、及び導電材(super P)を94:3:3重量比でメノウ乳鉢(agate mortar)に添加及び混合し、スラリを製造した。前記スラリを、厚さ15μmのアルミニウム箔上に、100μm間隔のドクターブレードでキャスティングしてカソードを得た。前記キャスティングされたカソードを90℃オーブンに入れ、約2時間NMPが蒸発するように一次乾燥させ、120℃真空オーブンに入れ、約2時間二次乾燥させ、NMPを完全に蒸発させた。前記電極を圧延し、厚さが60μmであるカソードを得た。
前記比較例1及び2で製造されたリチウム二次電池用の電解質を使用したことを除いては、前記実施例7と同じ方法で、2032規格のコインセルを製造した。
前記実施例7ないし12、比較例3、及び4で製造されたコインセルに対し、常温で化成(formation)充放電を二回行った。最初の化成段階では、前記コインセルに対し、0.05Cで4.53Vに達するまで充電を実施した。その後、0.05Cで2.5Vに達するまで定電流放電を行った。2回目の化成段階では、前記コインセルに対し、0.1Cで4.5Vに達するまで定電流充電、及び電流が0.05Cまで4.5V定電圧充電を実施した。その後、0.1Cで2.5Vに達するまで定電流放電を行った。

高温容量維持率(%)=高温放置後放電容量/標準容量

Claims (6)
- リチウム塩、非水性有機溶媒、及び下記化学式1で表示される電解質添加剤を含むことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池用の電解質:
- 前記電解質添加剤は、下記化学式2、または化学式3で表示されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用の電解質:
- 前記電解質添加剤は、アゼチジノン、アゼチジノンの誘導体、ピロリジノンの誘導体、ピペリジノンの誘導体、アゼピノンの誘導体、またはそれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用の電解質。
- 前記電解質添加剤は、電解質総重量に対し、0.1ないし10重量%の範囲で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用の電解質。
- 前記非水性有機溶媒は、カーボネート系、エステル系、エーテル系、ケトン系、アルコール系、非プロトン性溶媒またはそれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用の電解質。
- 電解質と、アノードと、カソードとを含み、
前記電解質は、請求項1ないし請求項5のうちいずれか1項に記載のリチウム二次電池用の電解質であることを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。
