WO99/09307には、大型トラックのカーボンブラック放出量を減少させる方法が記載されている。この方法によれば、排ガスは、最初に二酸化窒素への一酸化窒素の酸化のために触媒上に導かれ、引続きカーボンブラックフィルター上に導かれ、このカーボンブラックフィルター上で析出されたカーボンブラックは、連続的に酸化される。浄化された排ガスの一部分は、冷却器上に導かれ、次にディーゼルエンジンの吸気に混入される。
Claims (5)
- 硫黄酸化物の僅かな濃度をも有する、内燃機関の希薄排ガスから窒素酸化物およびカーボンブラック粒子を除去するための方法において、
排ガス流を窒素酸化物蓄積触媒および粒子フィルター上に導き、その際窒素酸化物および硫黄酸化物は、蓄積触媒によって希薄排ガス条件下で吸着され、およびカーボンブラック粒子は、粒子フィルター上で析出され、蓄積触媒を第1の作業周期で周期的に排ガスの過濃化によって脱ニトロ化し、粒子フィルターの再生ならびに窒素酸化物蓄積触媒の脱硫を、第2の作業周期で、カーボンブラック焙焼残分が粒子フィルター上で引火しかつその後に蓄積触媒が排ガスの過濃化により脱硫されうる値に希薄排ガスの温度を上昇させることにより、行なう方法であって、
窒素酸化物蓄積触媒を排ガス流中で粒子フィルターの前方に配置し、排ガス温度を粒子フィルターの再生および蓄積触媒の脱硫のために炭化水素の燃焼によって蓄積触媒上で上昇させ、そのために必要とされる炭化水素を内燃機関の燃焼室中への燃料の後噴入によって排ガス流に供給するかまたは蓄積触媒の前方で燃料インゼクターにより、正味の酸化排ガス組成を維持しながら排ガス流へ噴射し、内燃機関のカーボンブラック焙焼残分の引火後に蓄積触媒の脱硫のために、過濃化された空気/燃料混合気と一緒に運転し、還元性の排ガス組成物を製造する、内燃機関の希薄排ガスから窒素酸化物およびカーボンブラック粒子を除去するための方法。 - 蓄積触媒の脱硫を0.7〜0.98の排ガスの空気比によって行なう、請求項1記載の方法。
- 排ガス流を順次に窒素酸化物蓄積触媒上および粒子フィルター上に導き、第3の作業周期で粒子フィルターの再生だけを希薄排ガス組成の際に粒子フィルターの前方でのカーボンブラック引火温度を超える排ガス温度の上昇によって行なう、請求項1記載の方法。
- 粒子フィルターの前方に酸化触媒を排ガス中に配置し、第3の作業周期で粒子フィルターの前方での排ガス温度の上昇のために炭化水素を正味の酸化排ガス組成を維持しながら酸化触媒の前方で排ガス流へ噴射し、酸化触媒に接して燃焼させる、請求項3記載の方法。
- 粒子フィルターの前方に酸化触媒を排ガス中に配置し、第3の作業周期で粒子フィルターの前方での排ガス温度の上昇のために炭化水素をディーゼルエンジンの燃焼室中への燃料の後噴入によって正味の酸化排ガス組成を維持しながら排ガス流に供給し、こうして構成された排ガスを蓄積触媒の脇に接するように導き、酸化触媒上にもたらす、請求項4記載の方法。
