Description
特許文献1の熱動形過負荷継電器を、図4を参照して説明する。
この熱動形過負荷継電器は樹脂モールド製の絶縁ケース1内に、三相の各電路に挿入され、ヒータ2aが巻回された主バイメタル2と、これら主バイメタル2の自由端のそれぞれに係合され、絶縁ケース1に移動可能に支承されているシフタ3と、シフタ3の一端に係合可能に絶縁ケース1内に配置された開閉機構4と、開閉機構4の動作により接点の切り替えを行なう接点反転機構5が収納されている。
そして、釈放レバー8の反時計方向の回動が進行すると、反転ばね14は左方向に凸状に湾曲するように変形し、この反転ばね14の変形により、反転ばね14の先端部に係合しているスライダ17を、常開側可動接点15b及び常開側固定接点15aが閉状態となり、常閉側可動接点16a及び常閉側固定接点16bが開状態となるように移動させる。このような開閉機構4の反転動作により、常開側可動接点15b及び常開側固定接点15aの閉状態、常閉側可動接点16a及び常閉側固定接点16bの開状態の情報を基に、例えば主回路に接続した電磁接触器(不図示)を開極動作させて過負荷電流を遮断する。
また、本発明に係る熱動形過負荷継電器は、常開接点及び前記常閉接点が、前記支軸の回転中心線を含んだ仮想面に対して略面対称の位置に配置されている。
図1から図3は、本発明に係る熱動形過負荷継電器の1実施形態を示すものであり、図1は熱動形過負荷継電器要部の定常状態を示す図、図2(a)は定常状態の接点反転機構及び常開接点(a接点)を示す図、図2(b)はトリップ状態の接点反転機構を示す図、図3(a)は定常状態の接点反転機構及び常閉接点(b接点)を示す図、図3(b)はトリップ状態の接点反転機構及び常閉接点(b接点)を示す図である。
調整機構20は、調整リンク22と、この調整リンクに回動自在に支持された釈放レバー23と、この釈放レバー23に固定され、シフタ3に係合する温度補償バイメタル24とを備えている。
絶縁ケース1の下部側の内壁には、支軸27が絶縁ケース1内に突出して設けられており、この支軸27の縮径された先端部を脚部26に形成した軸受穴26aに挿入することで、調整リンク22全体が、支軸27を中心として回動自在に絶縁ケース1に支持される。
また、リセット棒43は、図1に示すように、絶縁ケース1内に手動で押し込むリセットボタン43aと、図2(b)のa接点側板ばね37に接触することでトリップ状態となっている可動板35を初期位置(定常状態)に戻す斜面43bとを備えている。
図1に示すように、過負荷電流によってヒータ2aが発熱して主バイメタル2が湾曲すると、その自由端の変位によってシフタ3が図1の符号Qの矢印方向に変位する。変位したシフタ3によって温度補償バイメタル24の自由端が押圧されると、温度補償バイメタル24に一体化された釈放レバー23が、調整リンク22に支持された回動軸23d,23e回りに時計方向に回動していき、釈放レバー23の反転ばね押圧部23fが反転ばね36を押圧する。
本実施形態の接点反転機構21は、a接点38及びb接点42が連動板34及び可動板35の回動により切り替え動作を行うとともに、連動板34の表面34a側及び裏面34b側の近傍に配置されているので、従来装置と比較して、絶縁ケース1内のa接点38及びb接点42を配置するスペースを大幅に小さくすることができ、熱動形過負荷継電器の小型化を図ることができる。
Claims (2)
- ケース内に、過負荷電流を検知して湾曲変位する主バイメタルと、この主バイメタルに連動するシフタの変位に従動する釈放レバーと、この釈放レバーの回動により接点を切り替える接点反転機構とを配置した熱動形過負荷継電器において、
前記接点反転機構は、一端を支点とし他端側が揺動自在に配置された可動板と、前記支点を挟んで互いに逆側に位置する前記可動板の他端側及びばね支持部の間に張架され、回動した前記釈放レバーが係合することで前記可動板を反転させる反転ばねと、前記可動板に連動して支軸回りに回動する連動板とを備え、
前記連動板の表面側に常開接点側板ばねを並設し、この常開接点側板ばねの自由端側に、常開接点の固定接点を設け、前記可動板に、前記常開接点の固定接点に接続する常開接点の可動接点を設けるとともに、
前記連動板の裏面側に常閉接点側板ばねを並設し、この常閉接点側板ばねに対向する接点支持板を配置し、前記常閉接点側板ばねは、連動板とともに回動するように連動板の一部に係合しており、前記常閉接点側板ばねの自由端側に、常閉接点の可動接点を設け、前記接点支持板に、前記常閉接点の可動接点に接続する常閉接点の固定接点を設けたことを特徴とする熱動形過負荷継電器。 - 前記常開接点及び前記常閉接点は、前記支軸の回転中心線を含んだ仮想面に対して略面対称の位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の熱動形過負荷継電器。
