Claims (4)
- 駆動源からの駆動力を車軸に伝達する車両の動力伝達装置であって、
ハウジングと、
前記駆動源に連結された遊星歯車式減速機構と、
前記ハウジングの下部領域に設けられたオイル貯留部とを具備し、
前記遊星歯車式減速機構はサンギヤと、該サンギヤに噛合するピニオンギヤと、該ピニオンギヤを担持するプラネタリキャリアと、前記ピニオンギヤに噛合するリングギヤとを含んでおり、
前記プラネタリアキャリアは軸方向に互いに離間した第1及び第2環状部材と、該第1及び第2環状部材を連結する半径方向外側に向けて開口する略V字形状の複数の連結部とを含んでおり、
前記V字形状の連結部の最外径位置は前記オイル貯留部に貯留されたオイルの動的油面よりも上方に設定されていることを特徴とする車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記ピニオンギヤは、前記サンギヤに噛合する大径の第1ギヤと、該第1ギヤの軸方向側部に一体的に形成され前記リングギヤに噛合する第2ギヤとからなる2段ピニオンギヤであり、
前記リングギヤは、前記ハウジング内の前記第1ギヤの軸方向側方位置に配置され、前記リングギヤの最大半径は、前記第1ギヤの公転中心からの最大距離よりも小さくなるように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記リングギヤは、前記ハウジング内に回転可能に配置され、
前記リングギヤと前記ハウジングの間に設けられた、前記リングギヤと前記ハウジングを係合して前記リングギヤに制動力を付与する制動機構を更に具備したことを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記V字形状の連結部は、軸受のアウターレースが嵌合するボスと一体的に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車両の動力伝達装置。
