本出願は、米国仮出願第60/298,791号および第60/298,798(ともに2001年6月15日出願)および米国特願10/073,678(2002年2月11日出願)の優先権を主張するものであり、これら出願の全教示は、参照により本明細書に援用するものとする。
Claims (9)
- 下記実験式を有する組成物を含む正極を有するリチウム電池:
Lix1Ax2Ni1−y−zCoyBzOa,
ここでx1は約0.1より大で約1.3以下であり、
x2は約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
yは約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
zは約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
aは約1.5より大で約2.1未満であり、
Aはバリウム、マグネシウム、カルシウムおよびストロンチウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1の元素であり、且つ
Bはアルミニウム、ガリウム、マンガン、チタン、バナジウムおよびジルコニウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1の元素であり、
AはLiNiO2構造におけるLi原子を置換したものであり、Co原子およびBはLiNiO2構造におけるNi原子を置換したものである。 - 下記実験式を有する組成物を含む、リチウム電池用正極:
Lix1Ax2Ni1−y−zCoyBzOa,
ここでx1は約0.1より大で約1.3以下であり、
x2は約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
yは約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
zは約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
aは約1.5より大で約2.1未満であり、
Aはバリウム、マグネシウム、カルシウムおよびストロンチウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1の元素であり、且つ
Bはアルミニウム、ガリウム、マンガン、チタン、バナジウムおよびジルコニウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1の元素であり、
AはLiNiO2構造におけるLi原子を置換したものであり、Co原子およびBはLiNiO2構造におけるNi原子を置換したものである。 - Aがマグネシウムであり、Bがマンガンである請求項2のリチウム電池用正極。
- 更に高分子バインダーを含む請求項2のリチウム電池用正極。
- 高分子バインダーがポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリフッ化ビニリデンおよびスチレン−ブタジエンゴムからなる群より選ばれる請求項4のリチウム電池用正極。
- カーボンブラックおよび黒鉛の少なくとも一を更に含む請求項3のリチウム電池用正極。
- 下記実験式を有する組成物を含む、リチウム電池用正極:
Lix1Ax2Ni1−y−zCoyBzOa,
ここでx1は約0.1より大で約1.3以下であり、
x2は約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
yは約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
zは約0.0より大で約0.2以下であり、
aは約1.5より大で約2.1未満であり、
Aはマグネシウムであり、且つ、Bはマンガンである。 - 更に高分子バインダーを含み、この高分子バインダーがポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリフッ化ビニリデンおよびスチレン−ブタジエンゴムからなる群より選ばれる請求項7のリチウム電池用正極。
- カーボンブラックおよび黒鉛の少なくとも一を更に含む請求項7または8のリチウム電池用正極。
