Claims (5)
- 金属製の芯線材(3)を内嵌するよう樹脂製の内層チューブ(4)を押し出し成形する前段押出成形装置(12)と、この前段押出成形装置(12)により成形されて、一旦、冷却された内層チューブ(4)の外面に補強糸(6)の編み組みによる編組層(5)を取り付けることにより編組チューブ(7)を成形する編組層取付機(14)と、上記編組チューブ(7)に樹脂製の外層チューブ(8)を外嵌させることによりカテーテルの素材チューブ(2)を押し出し成形する後段押出成形装置(19)と、上記素材チューブ(2)を引き取る引取機(21)とを備え、これら前段押出成形装置(12)、編組層取付機(14)、後段押出成形装置(19)、および引取機(21)を上記各チューブ(4,7,8,2)の長手方向に沿って連続的に配置し、
上記後段押出成形装置(19)が、互いに異種の第1、第2樹脂(26,27)を熱溶融させてそれぞれ押し出す第1、第2押出機(29,30)と、上記第1押出機(29)から押し出された上記第1樹脂(26)を前方に向かい通過させて上記外層チューブ(8)の内層部分(8a)を成形可能とする内層部分成形通路(32)、および上記第2押出機(30)から押し出された上記第2樹脂(27)を前方に向かい通過させて上記外層チューブ(8)の外層部分(8b)を成形可能とする外層部分成形通路(33)が成形されたダイ(34)と、上記第1、第2押出機(29,30)から押し出されて、上記内、外層部分成形通路(32,33)に向かわされる第1、第2樹脂(26,27)の単位時間当りの各流量(Q1,Q2)をそれぞれ調整可能とする第1、第2流量調整弁(43,44)とを備えたことを特徴とするカテーテル成形装置。 - 上記編組層取付機(14)の最大処理速度よりも、上記前段押出成形装置(12)、後段押出成形装置(19)、および引取機(21)の各最大処理速度がそれぞれ速くなるよう設定したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル成形装置。
- 上記第1、第2流量調整弁(43,44)の各弁体(45)を上記ダイ(34)の内部に設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル成形装置。
- 上記内、外層部分成形通路(32,33)の各前端を内、外押出口(37,38)とし、上記ダイ(34)の前方に補助ダイ(48)を設け、上記内、外押出口(37,38)から前方に離れた位置で上記素材チューブ(2)を前方に向かって通過可能とさせる補助ダイ孔(49)を上記補助ダイ(48)に成形し、上記外押出口(38)の外側開口縁(50)と、上記補助ダイ孔(49)の開口縁(51)とを結ぶ仮想円錐台筒体(52)の外方域に、その周方向の全体にわたり空間(53)を成形したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテル成形装置。
- 上記内、外押出口(37,38)から上記補助ダイ孔(49)に至までの離間寸法(L)を可変としたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカテーテル成形装置。
