Description
法に関する。
層を安定的な方法、すなわち通常、プレスにより紙、繊
維、ガラス繊維あるいは他の材料からなるベースの上に
一緒に形成したものからなる。このプラスチック材料と
してはフェノール、メラミン、エポキシ、ポリエステ
ル、シリコン、弗素系などが用いられる。
薄層がその一方、あるいは両方の面にプレス工程の際に
接着される。実質的に同一のものからなる複数のパッケ
ージであって、それぞれプラスチックで含浸された複数
のシートおよび銅薄層からなるパッケージが積重ね形成
される。この積重ねパッケージの間には金属、ステンレ
ス鋼などのシートが介在され、このようにして形成され
た積重ねは熱と圧力を与える多層プレートプレスの中に
導入される。
ホットプレス段階と70〜80℃の冷却段階とを含む各ヒー
トサイクルが終了したとき、コンパクトで剛性の製品が
得られ、その各製造成分は相互に密着している。

困難なことである。これは熱伝導性が小さいプラスチッ
ク材料などで含浸されているガラス繊維がパッケージ積
層体全体に亘って存在し、これを通して熱の伝導を行わ
なければならないからである。
の存在は、パッケージを充填、取出し作業を面倒なもの
とさせる。この問題は操業が短いものにおいて顕著とな
るが、これがコストを上昇させることになる。

パッケージを複数積重ねることからなる。この金属薄層
は連続したバンドとして解きほどかれている。このバン
ドの最初の長さは第1のシートのセットの下面と合致
し、ここから出発している。このバンドが180°折り曲
げられたのち、バンドの第2の長さがこの第1のシート
のセットの上面に折重ねられ、ここに金属シートを配し
たのち、ついで第1の折重ねとは反対方向に180°をも
って第2の折重ねがなされ、第3の長さが第2のシート
セットの下面に合致することになる。

き、すべてのバンドは電気抵抗のように作用し、その全

24に直接、熱を発生させる。また、これによりプレスか
らの同期的圧力に加えて加圧力を発生させる。

Claims (8)
- 【請求項1】プラスチックで含浸された支持シート(2
5)のグループ(22〜24)およびその一方または両方に
設けられた金属薄層からなるパッケージ(21、81)の複
数の積重ね(20、80)を形成することによりなされる金
属薄層を含むプラスチック積層体、特にプリント回路基
板の製造方法であって、 この金属薄層が1つの連続した金属バンド(30、95)か
ら形成され、この金属バンドが底および第1の金属シー
ト(40)から出発してシート(25)の第1のグループ
(22)の下面に配置され、ついでバンドの180°の折曲
げ(32)により第1のグループ(22)の上面に配置さ
れ、このバンド上に第2の金属シート(41)が置かれ、
このバンドの第1の折曲と逆方向の180°の第2の折曲
(34)ののち、このバンドが金属シート(41)の上およ
びシート(25)の第2のグループ(23)の下面に配置さ
れ、ついでこのバンドの第2の折曲と逆方向の180°の
第3の折曲(34)により、シート(25)の第2のグルー
プ(23)の上面に配置され、以下、金属シート(42、4
3)をバンドの2つの連続する折曲げの間に配置するこ
とにより、同様の繰返しがシート(25)の最後のグルー
プ(24)の上面にバンドが配置されるまで続けられ、つ
いでバンド(95)の両端部(36、37、96、97)が電源
(72、91)に接続され、パッケージ(21、81)の複数の
積重ね(20、80)に適当な圧力を与えられ、電源(72、
91)の電気回路が閉じられたとき、パッケージ(21、8
1)の面に合致する金属バンド(30、95)の種々の長さ
(31)、(33)、(35)が電気抵抗として作用し、これ
により各部分を密着させ、プラスチック積層体を形成さ
せることを特徴とする製造方法。 - 【請求項2】パッケージ(21)の積重ね(20)に対する
加圧を冷間プレス(60)内に該積重ね(20)を導入する
ことにより行うことを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の
製造方法。 - 【請求項3】パッケージの積重ね(80)に対する加圧を
オートクレーブ(90)内に該積重ね(80)を導入するこ
とにより決定することを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載
の製造方法。 - 【請求項4】パッケージ(21)の積重ね(20)を、支
持、案内のためピン(53)、(54)により接続された上
部プレート(51)および下部プレート(52)を備えた金
型(50)の内側に配置し、ついでこの金型(50)に必要
な圧力を適用するようにしたことを特徴とする請求の範
囲1に記載の製造方法。 - 【請求項5】金型(50)に対する加圧を冷間プレス(6
0)内に金型(50)を導入することにより行うことを特
徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の製造方法。 - 【請求項6】金型(50)に対する加圧を金型(50)をオ
ートクレーブ(90)内に導入することにより行うことを
特徴とする請求の範囲4に記載の製造方法。 - 【請求項7】上記バンド(30)が銅からなることを特徴
とする請求の範囲1に記載の製造方法。 - 【請求項8】パッケージの積重ね(80)に対する加圧を
オートクレープ(90)内の底部のプレート(83)と、蓋
(91)の内側に固定されたプレート(87)との間に該積
重ね(80)を導入することにより決定し、これらプレー
ト(83、87)にパッケージの上下面に接するように導電
層(84、88)を配置し、これによりパッケージを形成す
る折曲金属バンド(95)の両端(96、97)と接触するよ
うにし、上記導電層(84、88)を電源(94)と接触さ
せ、プレート(87)を弾性導電体(85)を介して蓋(9
1)の内側に固定させ、これにより蓋(91)が閉じられ
たとき、電源(94)と金属バンド(95)との間の回路を
自動的に閉塞させ、これによりプレス工程を開始させる
ことを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の製造方法。
