Abstract

本发明为外表面带有铜薄片的塑料层压板(特别 是用于印刷电路的层压板)的生产方法,所述薄片是 从一连续带(30)得到的,通过交替地设沿一个方向及 其相反方向弯曲(32),该带从依次上下叠放的各个组 合板的各个表面上穿过,带(30)在其两端(36、37)与 发电机(72)相连,作为一组电阻产生生产过程所需的 热量,当由冷压机(60)向组合板加以适当压力时,各 组成部分之间便紧密结合,从而构成塑料层压板。

Description

本发明是关于带有金属薄片的塑料层压板的生产方法。
一般而言,塑料层压板由从多层塑料材料形成的若干薄片组成,这些薄片通常由于压力使之以稳定的方式组合在一起,附着在纸、纺织品、玻璃纤维或其他材料制成的基片上。所述塑料材料可以由酚(phenol)、蜜胺(melamine)、环氧树脂、聚脂、硅、氟化物、或其他材料构成。
在生产印刷电路时,在加压过程中将金属薄片(通常为铜片)附着在一面或两面。
构成实际上相同的一叠组合板(packages),每个组合板由若干浸注塑料的薄片及铜片组成,在每个组合板的两面上各放一张铜片。
在各个组合板之间放置一张不锈钢的或其他种类的金属片,并将这样构成的一叠放到一个多板压机(multiple-plate    press)内,该压机同时提供热量和压力。
每个加热周期中在压强高达100kg/cm2的情况下温度可达190℃并持续100分钟以上,还包括一个使温度降至70-80℃的冷却阶段。每当一个加热周期结束时,便得到一个致密而坚固的产品,它的单个组成部分被紧密地组合在一起。
适合这类生产的压机有许多加热板,而且必须按清晰而精确的顺序同时产生热量和压力,它们需要通过热传导过程造成贯穿这一叠中各个组合板的均匀温度,而且,显然这一叠中只有在顶部和底部的组合板才与加热板接触,由于这些原因,这类压机必定是构造复杂的,而且其产出将是低的。
特别是,热量从压机加热板向重叠的组合板的传播及在冷却阶段冷却单元的热传播,因为必须穿过由浸注塑料的玻璃纤维或其他等效绝缘体(已知它们是热的很不良导体)构成的组分,使热传播在这一叠中这类材料上部和下部的组合板中受到极大的阻碍。
除了使压机结构复杂外,多个加热板的存在减慢了组合板的加载和卸载过程,而对于短期生产造成的这类问题使其生产费用更比较高。本发明的宗旨是带有金属薄片的塑料层压板(特别是用于印刷电路的层压板)的生产方法,包括如下步骤:构成一叠组合板,每个组合板有若干浸注塑料的支持片以及在一个或两个表面上的金属薄片。所述金属薄片是从一个连续带上卷下来的。这一条金属带的初始段与从下面开始的第一组薄片的下表面相匹配。当折叠180°后,第二段金属带放在这一组薄片的上表面,在将金属带放到那里并沿着与第一次折叠相反的方向折叠180°后,第三段与第二组薄片的下表面匹配。
在沿着与第二次折叠相反的方向折叠180°后,该金属带达到前一组薄片的上表面,如此进行下去,直至达到最后一组薄片的上表面为此。
金属带的两端连到一个提供适当功率的发电机上。
所以,通过在这一叠组合板上造成适当的压力和闭合发电机电路,与组合板表面相匹配的各段金属带起到电阻的作用,从而在组合板的各个组成部分之间造成紧密的结合,当然也就制成了塑料层压板。
这个金属带最好是铜带。
在一叠组合板上所需压力可通过将这一叠放在冷压机内或放在热压器(autoclave)中来得到。
根据一种最佳方法,每一叠组合板被放入一个模具内,该模具有一个上板和一个下板,由导向支持棒相连。以这种方式可将所需压力加到模具内。
将模具放到冷压机内或热压器内便能够决定模具上的压力。
本发明具有许多优点。
由于这些压机不需要同时供给热量和压力,它们会更简单,而且能产生适当压力的各种压机均可使用。热量是在每个单个组合板处产生的,而且能在短时间内达到均匀的温度。
生产周期可长可短。
由于在每个组合板中的各个铜片能以连续条带形式提供,从而也相当地缩短了冷却时间。
所以加热和冷却都能更快地完成,因为不会象当前使用的过程那样由于上下组合板中的浸注塑料玻璃纤维或其他支持材料组成部分(众所周知,它们是热的很不良导体)的阻挡而使热量或致冷单元的热传播被阻挡在每个组合中。
当使用组合加压方式时,-即在一叠组合板的每一端内由传统类型的加热板加热,并通过铜带直接加热,-则加热时间当然会进一步减小,而生产率会进一步提高。
工作循环将会加速和简化,从而将降低费用。
通过下述由示意图显示的本发明实施例,将使本发明的特点和目的更加清楚。
图1是对所包含的组合板同时产生热量和压力的当前所用类型的多板压机,用于以当前使用的方法制造印刷电路所需层压板。
图2是利用本发明的处理过程形成的一叠组合板。
图3是如图2的一叠组合板放置于一个模具中。
图4是图3中的模具被放入一个冷压机中。
图5是一叠组合板被放入一个开口热压器中。
图6与图5相同,但是放在一个封闭热压器中。
图7是图1中的一叠组合板中的热传播。
图8是图2中的一叠组合板中的热传播。
多板压机10有加热板11,在加热板11之间放置多叠16组合板12。
所述组合板12由浸注环氧树脂的玻璃纤维织物片13及铜薄片14组成。
钢片15放在各组合板之间。
在图2中的叠20中,组合板21由浸注环氧树脂的玻璃纤维片25的组22-24构成。
连续铜带30以S型绕在各组之间。
钢带40-43被插入到各组合板之间。
如图所示,带30的第一段31被放置在第一钢片40上面。
当把玻璃纤维织物片25的组22放好时,铜带成180°弯曲32,以便使一段铜带33放在组22的最后片的上表面。
将第二钢片41放到铜带上之后,所述铜带沿着与第一次相反的方向作另一次弯曲34,从而与所述钢片41的上表面匹配。如此继续下去,直至放上最顶上的一段35并将钢片43放到它上面为止。
起始端和终止端36和37允许向外伸出。
在钢片40-43与铜带30之间放置绝缘材料片(图中未画出)。
如图3中可见,这样构成的叠20被放到由两个棒53和54连接的板51和52之间的模具50中,这里所示36和37两端作为进一步向外延伸端。
图4中绘出一个冷水压机60,其顶板和底板61和62由四角处的4个柱63-65连接和导向。
这种压机只适用于挤压叠起的组合板。上述模具50放在板61和62之间。带30的两端36和37被连到与发电机72相连的导体70和71。当闭合电路时,整个铜带的作用如同一个电阻,它的所有各段(如31、33、35)直接向片25的各组22-24供热,这与压机加压同时提供给挤压过程。
然后在带的各段31、33、35等之间的弯曲部32、34及其他弯曲部切断,以便简单而快捷地提供出印刷电路用层压板。
图5给出与图2-4中所示的叠20相似的组合板叠80,它放入一个热压器90中。
在热压器底部82上有板83,在板83上盖有导电层84。
在所述热压器的上盖91上用弹性装置固定了第二个板86,在它上面又固定了一个盖有导电层88的板87。
层84和88由弹性导体(下边的一个92及上边的一个93)连到有适当功率的发电机94。
如图6中所见,当合上盖子时,薄层88与金属带95的端96重合。由于所述金属带的另一端97与薄层84重合,所以合上所述盖子便决定了闭合发电机和金属带之间的电路,所以开始了前面所述的加压过程。
图7给出图1所绘当前所用压机之一(标为10),标为100的线系指出由加热板11发出的热量的传播或冷却单元的热传播。
图8给出图1中见到的组合板叠,并给出金属带30的各段31、33、35发出热量的传播路线。

Claims (8)

1、带有金属薄片的塑料层压板的特别适用于印刷电路的层压板的生产方法,作法是构成组合板(21、81)的叠层(20、80),每个组合板由浸注塑料的支持片(25)组(22-24)及在其一面或两面上的金属薄片组成,其特点在于:该金属薄片从一个连续的金属带(30、95)得到,该金属带先放在从底部起始的薄片(25)的第一组(22)的下表面,然后构成180°弯曲部(32),再放到所述组(22)的上表面,在放上金属片(41)和使金属带沿着与第一次相反方向构成第二次180°弯曲(34)后,所述带被放在第二个片组(23)的下表面,然后,在沿与第二次弯曲相反方向构成第三次180°弯曲之后,所述带放到片(25)的第二组(23)的上表面上,如此继续,直至达到片(25)的最后一组(24)的上表面,带(95)的两端(36、37-96、97)与适当功率的发电机(72、91)相连,这样,通过在组合板(21、81)各表面匹配的带(30、95)各段(31)(33)(35)起到电阻的作用,从而使各部分之间造成紧密结合,构成塑料层压板。
2、如权利要求1的方法,其特点在于组合板(21)叠层(20)上的压力是通过把所述叠层(20)放到冷压机(60)内得到的。
3、如权利要求1的方法,其特点在于组合板叠层(80)上的压力是通过把所述叠层(80)放入热压器(90)中得到的。
4、如权利要求1的方法,其特点在于每个组合板(21)叠层(20)被首先放到模具(50)中,该模具的上板(51)和下板(52)由棒(53)(54)相连,用于在支持和导向,这样,便可能将该过程所需压力加到所述模具(50)上。
5、如权利要求1的方法,其特点在于模具(50)上的压力是通过将其放一个冷压机(60)中得到的。
6、如权利要求4的方法,其特点在于模具(50)上的压力是通过将其放入一个热压器中得到的。
7、如权利要求1的方法,其特点在于带(30)是铜制的。
8、如权利要求1的过程,其特点在于组合板叠层(80)上的压力是通过将所述叠层(80)放到热压器(90)内得到的,放置其中的组合板叠层(80)位于固定在热压器底部的板(83)和固定在盖(91)内部的板(87)之间,在所述板(82、87)上放置导电薄层(84、88),其位置与组合板叠层的上下两面接触,从而与构成组合板叠层(80)的弯曲形金属带(95)的两端(96、97)接触,所述薄层(84、85)与发电机(94)相连,板(87)由弹性装置(85)保持在盖(91)内部,于是,在关闭盖(91)便自动保证了发电机(94)和金属带(95)之间的电流,于是开始了上述的加压过程。
