Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 《発明の分野》 この発明は、電子式キャッシュレジスタに係り、特に
顧客に応じて商品の価格を変えて登録する機能を備えた
電子式キャッシュレジスタの改良に関する。
《発明の概要》 この発明は、顧客に応じて商品の価格を変えて登録す
る機能を備えた電子式キャッシュレジスタにおいて、初
めに顧客のレベルを指定しておくことにより、特定商品
の登録のたびにレベル指定のキー操作することを不要と
したものである。
《従来技術とその問題点》 従来、顧客の種類によって商品の価格を変えて販売す
る場合に用いられる電子式キャッシュレジスタ（以下EC
Rと称する）においては、特定の商品に関して顧客の種
類、例えば会員，社員，株主，一般等のレベルに応じて
設定した複数の価格を予め記憶しておき、実際の取引き
の際は顧客の種類（以下レベルと称する）に応じて該当
する価格をピックアップして登録する構成となってい
た。
しかしながら、このように構成された従来のECRで
は、特定商品の登録のたびに第９図に示すように、レベ
ル指定のキー操作をしなければならないため、オペレー
タにとっては、取扱う商品の中でどれが特定商品である
かを記憶しておかねばならず、しかも特定商品を登録す
る毎にレベル指定のキー操作をしなければならない煩わ
しさがあった。また、そのためレベル指定の入力忘れ
や、ミス入力が発生してしまう等の操作上の問題点があ
った。
《発明の目的》 この発明は、上記の問題点に鑑み提案されたもので、
オペレータが商品の登録の際に、特定商品毎にレベル指
定のキー操作をする必要がなく、特定商品であることを
意識しなくても、顧客毎に異なる商品価格で登録するこ
とを可能にした電子式キャッシュレジスタを提供するこ
とを目的としている。
《発明の構成と効果》 この発明は、上記目的を達成するために、同一商品に
ついて異なる価格で商品登録を行う電子式キャッシュレ
ジスタにおいて、 顧客の種類に応じて付与されたIDを指定する指定手段
と、 上記指定手段により指定された上記IDを記憶する第１
の記憶手段と、 一の商品に対して一の商品コードを記憶する商品コー
ド記憶手段と、 上記商品コード記憶手段に記憶された商品コードに対
応して、上記IDに関係なく同一価格で登録される通常商
品の商品価格を予じめ記憶する第２の記憶手段と、 上記商品コード記憶手段に記憶された商品コードに対
応して、上記IDに応じて異なる価格で登録される特定商
品の商品価格を上記IDに応じて予じめ記憶する第３の記
憶手段と、 商品コード情報を入力する入力手段と、 上記入力手段で入力された商品コードを有する商品が
通常商品であるか特定商品であるかを判別する判別手段
と、 上記判別手段によって判別された商品種別に基づい
て、通常商品の場合は上記第２の記憶手段から商品価格
を読みだすとともに特定商品の場合は上記第１の記憶手
段に記憶された上記IDに応じた商品価格を上記第３の記
憶手段から読み出す読み出し手段と、 上記読み出し手段によって読み出された商品価格に基
づき商品登録を行う登録手段と、 を有し、 一取引中に複数の商品を登録する場合は、上記第１の
記憶手段に記憶された上記IDに応じて登録処理を行うこ
とを特徴とする。
このように構成したことにより、この発明によれば、
次のような優れた効果が得られる。
（ａ）特定商品の登録のたびにレベル指定のキー操作を
する必要がなくなり、操作性が向上する。
（ｂ）また、オペレータは取扱い商品の中でどれが特定
商品であるかを記憶しておく必要がなくなる。
（ｃ）さらに、以上のことによりレベル指定の入力忘れ
や、ミス入力を防止できる。
（ｄ）また、顧客IDに応じた商品価格を記憶するように
しているので、（顧客の数）＋（商品数）分の検索で登
録処理ができ、顧客の数が増えても容易に対応できる。
商品コード記憶手段に記憶された商品コードに対応し
て、IDに応じて異なる価格で登録される特定商品の商品
価格をIDに応じて予じめ記憶する第３の記憶手段を有す
るので、顧客の数が増えても（顧客の数）＋（商品数）
の検索対象ですむ。
《実施例の説明》 以下、本発明を図面に基づいて説明する。
第１図〜第８図は本発明に係る電子式キャッシュレジ
スタの実施例を示すもので、第１図はその電気的構成を
示すブロック図である。
同図において、制御部１はCPU,ROM2,RAM3等を主体と
したマイクロコンピュータで構成されている。この制御
部１にはキーボード4,カード読取器5,表示器６、印字器
７が接続されている。
第２図は、キーボード４のキー配置図を示し、商品コ
ード情報を入力する商品キー群８と、通常のテンキーＴ
と、顧客のレベル等を入力するレベルキー群９が設けら
れている。
41はECRの電源スイッチを兼ねたモード選択のキー挿
入孔である。モードとしては、商品コードおよびその各
レベル毎の単価を設定する設定モードと、実際の取引き
において商品を登録する登録モードと、取引きされた内
容を外部へ出力するレポートモードとがある。
第３図は制御部１内のRAM3のメモリ内容を示し、上か
ら順に予め商品ごとの単価を入力し記憶させた商品ファ
イル31部と、ファンクションファイル32部、取引き毎に
入力される顧客のレベルを記憶しておく顧客種類ワーク
（TYP）33部と、前記の顧客種類ワーク（TYP）33のレベ
ルに対応して設定される単価レベルを一時記憶しておく
単価レベル（LV）35部と、取引き毎に順次登録される商
品の価格を加算して記憶する取引金額ワーク（AMT）36
部とからなる。
この中の商品ファイル31の記憶内容を示したのが第４
図であり、商品名と、それに対応して設定された顧客レ
ベル別の単価が記憶されている。実施例では顧客のレベ
ルを商品単価の高い順に一般客，会員，社員，株主の４
段階に分けている。また、商品も、顧客に応じて割引価
格を設けた特定商品と、値引をしない通常商品の２種類
が混在しており、図示例では商品３の“ネクタイ”が通
常商品であり、他は特定商品である。ここで特に重要な
点は、通常商品についてはレベル０のみに単価情報を記
憶させる一方、レベル１〜３には単価情報を一切記憶さ
せずにおき、これにより各商品が通常商品か特定商品か
を識別可能としていることである。
次に、以上のように構成された実施例の動作につい
て、第５図のフローチャートおよび第６図のキーシーケ
ンス図に基づいて説明する。
まず、商品登録に先立ちキーボード４のキー挿入孔41
にキーを挿入して電源を入れ、同時に登録モードに設定
する。これでECRは商品登録の待機状態（ステップ101）
となる。
次に顧客が会員である場合は、第６図に示すように
“会員”キー95を押すと、それを検知（ステップ101肯
定、ステップ104肯定）し、RAM内の顧客種類ワーク（TY
P）33と単価レベル（LV）35にレベル“1"が書込まれる
（ステップ106,ステップ107）。
次いで顧客が購入した商品１の商品コードを入力する
ために“商品1"キー81を押すと、商品コードが入力（ス
テップ101肯定、ステップ104否定、ステップ108否定、
ステップ112否定、ステップ116肯定）され、RAM内の商
品ファイル31より、商品１の単価群が読み出される（ス
テップ117）。
読出された商品４の単価群に各レベル別の複数の単価
が書込まれていることにより、商品１は特定商品である
ことが判別（ステップ118肯定）される。
次いで、この単価群より、すでに単価レベル（LV）35
に記憶されているレベル“1"に対応する単価“45,000"
が選択されて取引金額ワーク（AMT）36に加算（ステッ
プ120）される。
次いで、商品１の品名“シンシフク”と、その単価
“45,000"と、顧客のレベルが印字器７で第７図に示す
ように印字され、また第８図に示すように表示器６に表
示（ステップ121）される。
次いで、単価レベル（LV）35に顧客種類ワーク（TY
P）33に記憶されている“1"を書込む（ステップ122）。
次いで商品２の商品コードを“商品2"キー82を押して
入力すると、前記の商品１と同様な処理により登録され
る。
次いで、通常商品である商品３を同様にして入力する
と、前記と同様にRAM内の商品ファイル31より読出され
た商品３の単価群にはレベル“0"の単価しか書込まれて
いないことから、特定商品ではない、つまり通常商品で
あることが判別（ステップ118否定）される。
次いで、単価レベル（LV）35に“0"を書込む（ステッ
プ119）。
次いで、この単価群より、単価レベル（LV）35に記憶
されたレベル“0"に対応する単価“4,000"が選択されて
取引金額ワーク（AMT）36に加算（ステップ120）され
る。
次いで、商品３の品名“ネクタイ”と、その単価“4,
000"が印字器で第７図に示すように印字され、また表示
器６に表示（ステップ121）する。
次いで、単価レベル（LV）35に顧客種類ワーク（TY
P）34に記憶されている“1"を書込む（ステップ122）。
次いで商品4,および商品５を入力すると、前記商品１
と同様の処理により該当する単価が順次、取引金額ワー
ク（AMT）36に加算（ステップ120）し、同じく印字／表
示（ステップ121）する。以下、同様に処理される。
次いで、商品登録が終了すると、最後に“現／計”キ
ー91が押されて、それを検知（ステップ124肯定）し、
取引金額ワーク（AMT）36に記憶されている取引きの合
計金額を、第７図に示すように印字し、また表示器６に
表示（ステップ125）する。
次いで、取引金額ワーク（AMT）36に“0"を書込む
（ステップ126）。同じく単価レベル（LV）35に“0"を
書込む（ステップ127）。同じく顧客種類ワーク（TYP）
33に“0"を書込む（ステップ128）。
これで顧客一人に対する１回の取引きが終了する。
なお、この実施例では特定商品が通常商品かを判別す
るのに、RAM3内の商品ファイル31から読出された各商品
の単価群に各レベル別の複数の単価が書込まれていれば
特定商品、そうでなければ通常商品であると判別してい
たが、これとは別に商品ファイルの各商品別に特定商品
と通常商品を識別するためのフラグを設けて、それによ
り判別することも可能である。
なお、上記実施例は、顧客レベル指定をキーボード４
からのキー操作により行っているが、これ以外に、予め
顧客レベルを識別できる所定のカードを顧客に所持して
もらい、取引きに際してこのカードをECRカード読取器
５に挿入して顧客のレベル指定をするようにしても良
い。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】同一商品について異なる価格で商品登録を
    行う電子式キャッシュレジスタにおいて、 顧客の種類に応じて付与されたIDを指定する指定手段
    と、 上記指定手段により指定された上記IDを記憶する第１の
    記憶手段と、 一の商品に対して一の商品コードを記憶する商品コード
    記憶手段と、 上記商品コード記憶手段に記憶された商品コードに対応
    して、上記IDに関係なく同一価格で登録される通常商品
    の商品価格を予じめ記憶する第２の記憶手段と、 上記商品コード記憶手段に記憶された商品コードに対応
    して、上記IDに応じて異なる価格で登録される特定商品
    の商品価格を上記IDに応じて予じめ記憶する第３の記憶
    手段と、 商品コード情報を入力する入力手段と、 上記入力手段で入力された商品コードを有する商品が通
    常商品であるか特定商品であるかを判別する判別手段
    と、 上記判別手段によって判別された商品種別に基づいて、
    通常商品の場合は上記第２の記憶手段から商品価格を読
    みだすとともに特定商品の場合は上記第１の記憶手段に
    記憶された上記IDに応じた商品価格を上記第３の記憶手
    段から読み出す読み出し手段と、 上記読み出し手段によって読み出された商品価格に基づ
    き商品登録を行う登録手段と、 を有し、 一取引中に複数の商品を登録する場合は、上記第１の記
    憶手段に記憶された上記IDに応じて登録処理を行うこと
    を特徴とする電子式キャッシュレジスタ。
