Claims (82)
- 使い捨て吸収物品中に組み込み可能な吸収コア複合材であって、
第1の材料層と、
前記第1の材料層に少なくとも部分的に固定されていて前記第1の材料層との間に少なくとも1つのポケットを規定する第2の材料層と、
前記ポケット内に収納された吸収性粒子の凝集体と、
を備え、
前記ポケットは、固定初期容積を有しており、
前記吸収性粒子は、乾燥状態と関連した乾燥体積及び液体飽和状態と関連した膨潤体積を有することを特徴とし、
前記凝集体は、集成乾燥体積及び集成膨潤体積を有することを特徴とし、
前記ポケットは、前記固定初期容積を規定すると共に前記凝集体を保持する初期形態を有し、
前記凝集体の前記集成膨潤体積を受け入れるよう、使用中、前記初期ポケット形態を変更する手段が設けられている、吸収コア複合材。 - 前記吸収性粒子は、SAPであり、
前記変更手段は、増大したポケット容積が前記集成膨潤体積を受け入れるという拡張形態に向かって前記ポケットが前記初期形態から拡張可能であることを含み、

当該吸収コア複合材の身体側外面を形成する外面を有する第1の材料層と、
当該吸収コア複合材の反対側外面を形成する外面を有する第2の材料層と、
当該吸収コア複合材の前記外面相互間に設けられ且つ平均サイズ寸法を有する吸収性粒子の第1の層と、
当当該吸収コア複合材の前記外面相互間に設けられた吸収性粒子の第2の層と、
を備え、
前記第2の層の前記吸収性粒子は、前記第1の層の前記平均サイズ寸法よりも小さい平均サイズ寸法を有し、
前記吸収性粒子の第1の層は、実質的に前記第1の材料層内に位置し、
前記吸収性粒子の第2の層は、実質的に前記第2の材料層内に位置している、吸収コア複合材。 - 前記第1の材料層の前記吸収性粒子の前記平均サイズ寸法は、300ミクロンを超えており、
前記第2の材料層の前記吸収性粒子の前記平均サイズ寸法は、0~300ミクロンである、請求項26記載の吸収コア複合材。 - 前記第1の材料層は、低密度不織布であり、

前記吸収性粒子は、SAP粒子である、請求項26記載の吸収コア複合材。 - 前記吸収性粒子の第1の層、第2の層、及び、中間層の各々内のSAP粒子の平均サイズ寸法は、ミクロン単位で表して、それぞれ、0~300、300~600、及び、600~850である、請求項29記載の吸収コア複合材。
- 前記第1の材料層、前記中間材料層、及び、前記第2材料層は、それぞれ、0.01~0.03g/cc、0.03~0.08g/cc、及び、0.09~0.12g/ccの密度を有する、請求項30記載の吸収コア複合材。
- 使い捨て吸収物品中に組み込み可能な吸収複合材を形成する方法であって、
第1の材料層を用意するステップと、
前記第1の材料層の下に第2の材料層を位置決めするステップと、
第1の平均サイズ寸法を有する第1の吸収性粒子の集団と前記第1の平均サイズ寸法よりも小さな第2の平均サイズ寸法を有する第2の吸収性粒子の集団とで構成された吸収性粒子供給源を用意するステップと、
前記第1の集団に属する前記吸収性粒子が前記第1の材料層内に維持されると共に前記第2の集団に属する前記吸収性粒子が前記第1の材料層を濾過して前記第2の材料層内に定着するように、前記吸収性粒子の第1の集団及び前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団を前記第1の材料層上に堆積させるステップと、
を備えたことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1の材料層は、密度が0.01~0.03g/ccの低密度不織布であり、
前記第2の材料層は、これよりも高い密度の不織布である、請求項32記載の方法。 - 前記第1及び前記第2の材料層を前記第1の材料層上への前記吸収性粒子の堆積が起こる移動領域まで運搬するステップを更に備えた、請求項32記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び前記第2の材料層は、前記移動領域を超えて動かされ、前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団は、前記第1及び前記第2の材料層が前記堆積後に運搬されるときに、前記第1材料層を濾過するようになっている、請求項32記載の方法。
- 前記堆積後に前記第1及び前記第2の材料層を付勢して前記濾過を促進するステップを更に備えた、請求項32記載の方法。
- 前記付勢は、前記第1及び前記第2の材料層を振動させるステップを含む、請求項36記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び前記第2の材料層の間に中間の材料層を位置決めするステップを更に備え、
前記第1の材料層、前記中間の材料層、及び、前記第2の材料層は、それぞれ、0.01~0.03g/cc、0.03~0.08g/cc、及び0.09~0.12g/ccの密度を有する、請求項32記載の方法。 - 吸収性粒子の中間の集団を供給するステップを更に備え、
前記第1の集団、前記中間の集団、及び、前記第2の集団の前記平均サイズ寸法は、ミクロン単位で表して、それぞれ、0~300、300~600、及び、600~850であり、
前記堆積ステップは、前記吸収性粒子の第1の集団、前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団、及び、前記吸収性粒子の中間の集団を同時に堆積させ、前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団が前記第1及び前記中間の材料層を通って前記第2の材料層へと濾過し、前記吸収性粒子の中間の集団が前記第1の材料層を濾過して前記中間の材料層内に定着するステップを含む、請求項38記載の方法。 - 前記第1及び前記第2の集団の平均サイズ寸法の中間の平均サイズ寸法を有する中間の集団をなす吸収性粒子を供給するステップを更に備え、
前記堆積ステップは、前記吸収性粒子の中間の集団を堆積させる前に前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団を堆積させ、前記吸収性粒子の中間の集団を堆積させた後で前記第1の集団を堆積させるステップを含み、前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団が前記第1及び前記中間の材料層を通って前記第2の材料層へと濾過し、前記吸収性粒子の中間の集団が前記第1の材料層を濾過して前記中間の材料層内に定着すると共に前記吸収性粒子の第1の集団が前記第1の材料層内に定着するようになっている、請求項32記載の方法。 - 前記堆積後に前記第1、前記第2及び前記中間の材料層を付勢して、前記吸収性粒子の第2の集団及び前記吸収性粒子の第3の集団の前記濾過を促進するステップを更に含む、請求項40記載の方法。
- 使い捨て吸収物品中に組み込み可能な吸収コア複合材であって、
身体側の第1の材料層と、
第2の材料層と、

前記吸収性粒子の層は、SAP粒子の集団と、当該SAP粒子よりも小さく2つ又は3つ以上のSAP粒子間に位置決めされて当該2つ又は3つ以上のSAP粒子を互いから離隔させる非SAPの離隔用粒子の集団と、を含む、吸収コア複合材。 - 前記離隔用粒子は、不活性粒子、水溶性粒子、揮発性粒子、イオン交換粒子、及び、これらの組合せ、からなる離隔用粒子の群から選択される、請求項42記載の吸収コア複合材。
- 前記吸収性粒子の層は、ホットメルトバインダー粒子を更に含む、請求項43記載の吸収コア複合材。
- SAP粒子と前記ホットメルトバインダー粒子との比は、約1:1である、請求項44記載の吸収コア複合材。
- 前記ホットメルトバインダー粒子は、感水ホットメルト粒子である、請求項45記載の吸収コア複合材。
- 前記吸収性粒子は、球形SAP、フレーク形態SAP、及び、超吸収繊維SAPからなるSAP粒子の群から選択されたSAP粒子の組合せである、請求項43記載の吸収コア複合材。
- 前記離隔用粒子は、熱が加えられると溶融するホットメルト粒子である、請求項42記載の吸収コア複合材。

前記端マージン部は、当該吸収物品の着用中、ユーザの腰周りに位置決めされる前側及び後側ウエスト領域を部分的に規定しており、

外面を備えた第1の材料層と、
外面を備えた第2の材料層と、
前記外面相互間に設けられた吸収性粒子の第1の層と、

前記第1及び前記第2の材料層は、各々が前記SAP粒子を収容する複数のポケットを規定するよう複数の結合部位のところで結合されている、請求項50記載の使い捨て吸収物品。 - 前記吸収性粒子は、SAP粒子であり、前記第1の材料層は、前記第2の材料層から、長手方向に伸張するSAPのないゾーンによって側方に離隔されている、請求項49記載の使い捨て吸収物品。
- 前記吸収性粒子の層は、2つの外側ゾーン及びこれら外側ゾーン間に位置する中央ゾーンに分割されており、
前記中央ゾーンは、前記外側ゾーンの各々のSAP組成とは異なるSAP組成を有すると共に前記外側ゾーンの各々の吸収特性とは異なる吸収特性をもたらす、請求項49記載の使い捨て吸収物品。 - 前記中央ゾーンの前記SAP組成は、荷重を受けた状態での高い吸収度及び高い透過率を伴う状態で遅い吸収性を示すものとして特徴付けられ、
前記外側ゾーンの前記SAP組成は、荷重を受けた状態での低い吸収度及び低い透過率を伴う遅い吸収性を示すものとして特徴付けられる、請求項53記載の使い捨て吸収物品。 - 前記外側ゾーンは、SAP粒子とイオン交換材料との混合物を含む、請求項53記載の使い捨て吸収物品。
- 前記吸収性粒子の第1の層、前記吸収性粒子の第2の層、並びに、前記第1及び前記第2の材料層は、一緒になって、吸収本体を形成し、
当該吸収本体は、前記吸収性粒子の第1の層が前記吸収性粒子の第2の層上に折り畳まれるというように折り畳まれる、請求項49記載の使い捨て吸収物品。 - 前記吸収本体は、2つのフラップが結合して前記吸収性粒子の第2の層に隣接して前記吸収性粒子の第1の層を形成するよう、2本の折り目線に沿って折り畳まれる、請求項55記載の使い捨て吸収物品。
- 前記第1及び前記第2の材料層は、各々がSAP凝集体を収容する複数の互いに間隔を置いて位置するポケットを規定するよう複数の結合部位のところで結合されている、請求項56記載の使い捨て吸収物品。
- 使い捨て吸収衣料品中に組み込み可能な吸収複合材を製造する方法であって、
第1の不織布層の第1のシートを運搬するステップと、
吸収性粒子を前記第1のシート上に堆積させるステップと、
第2の不織布層の第2のシートを前記堆積された吸収性粒子及び前記第1のシートの上方に被着させ、それにより吸収性粒子をサンドイッチした前記2つの材料層を含む複合材を形成するステップと、
前記第1及び前記第2の材料層を結合して前記吸収性粒子を両者の間に少なくとも部分的に固定するステップと、
を備えた方法。 - 前記第1のシートの前記運搬に先立って、前記第1のシートの表面を変形させて側方に伸長可能な表面不連続部を形成するステップを更に備えた、請求項59記載の方法。
- 前記不連続部は、波形部である、請求項60記載の方法。
- 前記第1のシート又は前記第2のシートの前記運搬に先立って、前記第1のシートの表面の1つ又は2つ以上の区分を折り畳んで当該表面上に側方に伸長可能な折り目を形成するステップを更に備えた、請求項59記載の方法。
- 前記第1のシートの前記運搬ステップに先立って、前記第1のシートに折り畳み区分を設けるステップが実施され、
前記第2のシートの被着後に、前記折り畳み区分を広げて吸収性粒子のないレーンを露出させる、請求項62記載の方法。 - 前記折り畳み区分は、プリーツである、請求項62記載の方法。

前記端ゾーンは、イオン交換粒子及び前記吸収性粒子を含む、請求項59記載の方法。 - 前記堆積ステップは、側方に間隔を置いて位置したレーン内にSAPを堆積させて1つ又は2つ以上の長手方向に伸長するSAPのないレーンが一対のSAP含有レーン間に位置するようにするステップを含む、請求項59記載の方法。
- 前記堆積ステップは、異なる吸収特性を有するSAPを前記SAP含有レーンの各々内に堆積させるステップを含む、請求項67記載の方法。
- 前記第2のシートを被着させた後、前記SAPのないレーンのうちの1つ又は2つ以上に沿って前記複合材をスリットして、幅の減少した複数の吸収コア複合材を作るステップを更に備えた、請求項67記載の方法。
- 前記吸収複合材を折り畳んで2層吸収複合材を形成するステップを更に備えた、請求項59記載の方法。

不織布の第2のシートを運搬してSAP堆積後の前記第1のシートに被覆係合させるよう位置決めされたコンベヤと、
SAPが前記第1及び第2のシートの間に位置した状態で前記第1及び前記第2のシートの複合材に結合点を施す点結合装置と、
