Abstract
Description
この出願は、2014年11月7日付けの「高い充放電率能力を有するリチウム二次電池」と題する米国特許出願第14/536,522号に対し優先権を主張するものであり、その出願は、2013年6月12日付けの「より広い温度範囲における動作のための非水電解質二次電池」と題する国際特許出願第PCT/US2013/045513号の一部継続出願であり、その出願は、2012年6月12日付けの「マイクロハイブリッドバッテリー」と題する米国仮出願第61/658,712号と2012年6月12日付けの「S−O結合を有する溶媒を有する非水電解質を有するリチウムイオン電池」と題する米国仮出願第61/658,704号とに対し優先権を主張するものであり、全ての目的のためにこれらの出願の全てを参照することにより、これらのそれぞれの全体の内容がここに組み込まれる。
本開示にかかる電解質組成物の例は、1.0MのLiPF6と、0.15MのLiTFSIと、40体積%のECと、45体積%のEMCと、10体積%のDECと、5体積%のPCと、1.5重量%のESと、1重量%のVCと、及び1.5重量%のPSとを含む。
Claims (20)
- リチウムをインターカレート及び放出可能な負極と、
リチウム遷移金属オキソアニオン電気活性物質を備える正極と、
セパレータと、及び
非水電解質液と、
を備え、
前記非水電解質液は、ルイス酸分解産物を産出しない補助塩及びリチウム塩を備える塩系と、ガス抑制剤、化学式(1)によって表される少なくとも1種のスルホニル基を含有する第1の添加剤、第2の添加剤、ビニレンカーボネートを備える添加剤系と、及び少なくとも1種の有機溶媒とを備え、前記非水電解質液は、γ−ブチロラクトンを含まず、
R1及びR2は、独立して、アリール基又はハロゲン原子と置換可能なアルキル基、アルキル基又はハロゲン原子と置換可能なアリール基、を表し、又は、−A−とともに、不飽和結合を備える環状構造を形成でき、Aは化学式(2)乃至(5)から成る群から選択される化学式によって表される、二次電池。
- スルホニル基を含有する前記第1の添加剤は、前記電解質組成物の0.1重量%から5重量%で存在する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ガス抑制剤は、1,5,2,4−ジオキサジチアン-2,2,3,3−テトラオキシド(MMDS)、1−プロペン−1,3−スルトン(PrS)、又は1,3−プロパンスルトンの少なくとも1種である、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ガス抑制剤は、2重量%以下で存在する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記補助塩は、イミド塩、トリフラート塩、又は有機ホウ酸塩の塩類の一種から選ばれる、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記補助塩は、リチウムビス(トリフルオロメタンスルホニル)イミド塩(LiTFSI)である、請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記補助塩は、0.05Mから0.25Mで存在する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩は、LiClO4、 LiPF6 、 LiBF4 、 LiCF3SO3 、 LiN(CF3SO2)2 、 LiN(CF3CF2SO2)2 、 LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2) 及び LiC(CF3SO2)3の1種から選択される、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩は、0.85Mから1.5Mで存在する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2の添加剤は、フルオロエチレンカーボネートであり、1重量%で存在する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記有機溶媒は、エチレンカーボネート、プロピレンカーボネート、ブチレンカーボネート、ジメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート、及びエチルメチルカーボネート、γ−バレロラクトン、酢酸メチル、及びプロピオン酸メチル、テトラヒドロフラン、2−メチルテトラヒドロフラン、及びテトラヒドロピラン、ジメトキシエタン、及びジメトキシメタン、リン酸エチレンメチル、及びリン酸エチレンエチル、リン酸トリメチル、及びリン酸トリエチル、これらのハロゲン化物、ビニルエチレンカーボネート(VEC)、及びフルオロエチレンカーボネート()FEC、ポリ(エチレングリコール)、ジアクリレート、及びこれらの組合せの少なくとも1種を備える、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記有機溶媒は、エチレンカーボネート、エチルメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート及びプロピレンカーボネートの混合物を備える、請求項11記載の二次電池。
- 前記二次電池は、密閉構造内に収容される、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記負極は、難黒鉛化炭素、人造黒鉛、及びシリコン又は酸化シリコンと炭素材料との組合せである天然黒鉛を備える、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極は、リチウム遷移金属酸化物を備える、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- リチウムをインターカレート及び放出可能であり、黒鉛である負極と、
リン酸鉄リチウムである正極と、
セパレータと、及び
非水電解質液と、
を備え、
前記非水電解質液は、
LiPF6であるリチウム塩及びリチウムビス(トリフルオロメタンスルホニル)イミド塩である補助塩を備える塩系と、
1,3−プロパンスルホンであるガス抑制剤と、
エチレンカーボネート、プロピレンカーボネート、エチルメチルカーボネート、及びジエチルカーボネートの混合物である有機溶媒の少なくとも1種と、
エチレンサルファイトである、スルホニル基を含有する第1の添加剤の少なくとも1種と、
フルオロエチレンカーボネートである、第2の添加剤と、
を備え、
前記非水電解質液は、γ−ブチロラクトンを含まず、前記有機溶媒はさらにビニレンカーボネートを備える、二次電池。 - 前記有機溶媒混合液は、30体積%のエチレンカーボネート、55体積%のエチルメチルカーボネート、10体積%のジエチルカーボネート、及び5体積%のプロピレンカーボネートを含む、請求項16に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩は0.1Mで存在し、前記補助塩は01Mから0.2Mで存在する、請求項16に記載の二次電池。
- 二次電池に使用される電解質組成物であって、
ルイス酸分解産物を産出しにくい補助塩及びリチウム塩を備える塩系と、
添加剤系と、
を備え、
前記添加剤系は、
化学式(1)によって表される少なくとも1種のスルホニル基を含有する第1の添加剤、ガス抑制剤、第2の添加剤、及びビニレンカーボネートを備え、
R1及びR2は、独立して、アリール基又はハロゲン原子と置換可能なアルキル基、アルキル基又はハロゲン原子と置換可能なアリール基、を表し、又は、−A−とともに、不飽和結合を備える環状構造を形成でき、Aは化学式(2)乃至(5)から成る群から選択される化学式によって表される、電解質組成物。
- さらに、溶媒系を備える、請求項19に記載の電解質組成物。
