Abstract
【解決手段】ハーフブリッジ回路の下側アームの半導体スイッチング素子を駆動する駆動回路に、半導体スイッチング素子に過電流が生じたいときに該半導体スイッチング素子のオン・オフ駆動を停止する過電流保護回路を設けると共に、更に該下側アームの前記過電流保護回路の動作時に第1のアラーム信号を生成すると共に、前記下側アームの半導体スイッチング素子に逆並列に接続された前記フリーホイリング・ダイオードに流れる電流が電流制限値を超えるときに第2のアラーム信号を生成するアーム信号生成回路を設ける。

Claims (4)
- 直列に接続されてハーフブリッジ回路を形成し、互いに関連してオン・オフ駆動される一対または複数対の半導体スイッチング素子、および前記各半導体スイッチング素子にそれぞれ逆並列に設けられる複数のフリーホイリング・ダイオードを備えた電力変換装置本体と、
この電力変換装置本体における前記各半導体スイッチング素子をそれぞれオン・オフ駆動する複数の駆動回路とを具備し、
前記各駆動回路は、前記半導体スイッチング素子に流れる電流が電流制限値を超えるときに該半導体スイッチング素子のオン・オフ駆動を停止する過電流保護回路をそれぞれ備え、
前記ハーフブリッジ回路の下側アームにおける前記駆動回路は、更に該下側アームの前記過電流保護回路の動作時に第1のアラーム信号を生成すると共に、前記下側アームの半導体スイッチング素子に逆並列に接続された前記フリーホイリング・ダイオードに流れる電流が前記電流制限値を超えるときに第2のアラーム信号を生成するアーム信号生成回路を備えることを特徴とする電力変換装置。 - 前記第1および第2のアラーム信号は、所定の周期で生成されるパルス幅の異なる信号である請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。
- 前記半導体スイッチング素子に流れる電流は、該半導体スイッチング素子が備える電流検出端子を介して検出され、前記フリーホイリング・ダイオードに流れる電流は、該フリーホイリング・ダイオードが備える電流検出端子を介して検出されるものである請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。
- 前記電力変換装置本体は、直流電圧をスイッチングしてパルス状の離散的な正弦波電流波形からなる交流電流を負荷に供給するインバータ装置を構成するものである請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。
