Abstract
Description
始動時には、電気始動が主に用いられる。エンジン1が逆回転しないように、第一ロックアップ・クラッチ13がエンジン1をロックするように用いられる。第二モータ3は走行モードにあり、そのトルクが大型太陽歯車10、長形遊星歯車11、短形遊星歯車8、外側輪歯車9、主減速機4及び差動装置21を介して、車輪に伝達される。これにより、車両が始動するように駆動される。一方、短形遊星歯車8は、アイドリングになるよう小型太陽歯車6を駆動する。さらに、バッテリーが充電不足の場合には、電気機械ハイブリッドモードが採用され、第一モータ2をロックするよう第二ロックアップ・クラッチ14が使用されるとともに、第一ロックアップ・クラッチ13が解放される。このとき、第二モータ3のトルクが、大型太陽歯車10、長形遊星歯車11、短形遊星歯車8、外側輪歯車9、主減速機4及び差動装置21を介して車輪に伝達され、車両が始動するように駆動される。同時に、バッテリがエンジン1によって充電されるように、短形遊星歯車8が遊星キャリア7を駆動し、これにより、衝撃吸収ダンパ17を介してエンジン1が回転して始動する。
純電気走行モードが採用されると、エンジン1が第一ロックアップ・クラッチ13によりロックされて、車両の加速と速度とを制御するように、第二モータ3のトルクと回転速度とを変化させることにより出力部のトルクと回転速度とが可変となる。本発明の動力伝達機構が純電気走行モードにある場合、エンジンのクランクシャフトの逆回転を避けるとともに純電気走行におけるシステム制御の複雑性を低減するように、遊星キャリア7に配置された第一ロックアップ・クラッチ13が、遊星キャリア7とこれに接続されたエンジンのクランクシャフト12とをロックする。
第一ロックアップ・クラッチ13を用いてエンジン1をロックするとともに、第二モータ3を適宜制御して逆行動作させるように第二モータ3の回転方向を変えることにより、車両は逆行する。
車両が駐車状態にあるとき、車両の駐車ロック装置が動力伝達機構の出力部をロックするため、外側輪歯車9はこのときロック状態にある。バッテリを充電する必要がある場合、第一モータ2及び第二モータ3の両方を同時に電気生成状態とすることができる。エンジン1のトルクは、遊星キャリア7を介して第一モータ2及び第二モータ3にそれぞれ伝達され、これによりバッテリ充電用の電気が生成される。
車両が惰行運転状態になると、車両の慣性トルクは、差動装置21と主減速機4を介して外側輪歯車9に伝達される。このとき、外側輪歯車9は動力入力部として働き、バッテリ充電用の電気生成のためにこのトルクを第一モータ2及び第二モータ3に戻るよう供給する。これによりエネルギが得られて車両の燃料経済性が向上する。
Claims (10)
- エンジン(1)と、第一モータ(2)と、第二モータ(3)と、変速装置と、を備えたハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構において、
前記変速装置は、第一遊星歯車列と第二遊星歯車列とを有する2つの遊星歯車列からなる遊星歯車装置(5)を有し、
前記エンジン(1)は、前記遊星歯車装置(5)の一方の側部に配置され、
前記第一モータ(2)及び前記第二モータ(3)は、遊星歯車装置(5)の他方の側部に配置され、
前記第一遊星歯車列は、小型太陽歯車(6)と、遊星キャリア(7)と、短形遊星歯車(8)と、外側輪歯車(9)と、を有し、
前記第二遊星歯車列は、大型太陽歯車(10)と、長形遊星歯車(11)と、前記第一遊星歯車列と共用される前記遊星キャリア(7)と、を有し、
前記長形遊星歯車(11)は前記短形遊星歯車(8)と前記大型太陽歯車(10)とにそれぞれ噛み合い、
前記大型太陽歯車(10)のスピンドルは、小型太陽歯車(6)のスピンドルに回転可能にスリーブ接続され、
前記エンジン(1)のクランクシャフト(12)は前記遊星キャリア(7)に接続され、
前記外側輪歯車(9)は動力を出力し、
前記小型太陽歯車(6)のスピンドルは前記第一モータの回転子に接続され、
前記小型太陽歯車(6)のスピンドルの延長部は、選択的に前記小型太陽歯車(6)のスピンドルをロックするように、第二ロックアップ・クラッチ(14)の一方の側部に接続され、
前記大型太陽歯車(10)のスピンドルは、前記第二モータの回転子に接続され、
前記遊星キャリア(7)は、選択的に前記遊星キャリア(7)をロックするように、第一ロックアップ・クラッチ(13)の一方の側部に接続されている、
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記第一モータ(2)と前記第二モータ(3)とは一体に統合されていることを特徴とする、
請求項1に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記短形遊星歯車(8)と前記長形遊星歯車(11)の個数は、それぞれ3又は4であり、前記短形遊星歯車(8)と前記長形遊星歯車(11)は周方向に等間隔で配置されていることを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記外側輪歯車(9)は、歯車装置変速機構として機能する主減速機(4)に接続されていることを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記第一ロックアップ・クラッチ(13)の他方の側部は、前記遊星歯車装置(5)と、前記第一モータ(2)と、前記第二モータ(3)と、を囲む筐体(20)に接続されており、前記第二ロックアップ・クラッチ(14)の他方の側部は筐体(20)に接続されていることを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記ハイブリッド電気車両が始動するとき、前記第一ロックアップ・クラッチ(13)は前記遊星キャリア(7)をロックするように係合されて、これにより前記エンジン(1)の前記クランクシャフト(12)がロックされるとともに、前記第二モータ(3)は走行状態となって車両が始動することを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記ハイブリッド電気車両が純電気走行モードにあるとき、前記第一ロックアップ・クラッチ(13)は前記エンジン(1)をロックするように係合されるとともに、前記第二モータ(3)は動力源として動作して車両を走行させることを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記ハイブリッド電気車両がハイブリッド走行モードにあるとき、前記エンジン(1)が所望の動作領域にある間に、前記エンジン(1)と、前記第一モータ(2)と、前記第二モータ(3)とは協働してトルクを出力し、このとき前記第一モータ(2)は電気生成のために使用されるかロックされるとともに、前記第二モータ(3)は補助動力を提供するように使用されることを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記ハイブリッド電気車両が駐車及び充電状態にあるとき、前記外側輪歯車(9)がロックされるとともに、バッテリを充電するように前記エンジン(1)が前記第一モータ(2)及び/又は第二モータ(3)を駆動することを特徴とする、
請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電気車両用の動力伝達機構。 - 前記ハイブリッド電気車両が再生制動状態にあるとき、前記エンジン(1)がロックされるとともに、前記外側輪歯車(9)が動力入力部として機能して、前記第一モータ(2)と前記第二モータ(3)を電気を生成するように駆動することを特徴とする、
