- 駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
動力を入出力可能な第1電動機と、
動力を入出力可能な第2電動機と、
前記第1電動機の回転軸に接続される第1要素と前記第2電動機の回転軸に接続される第2要素と前記内燃機関の機関軸に接続される第3要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された動力分配統合機構と、
前記動力分配統合機構の前記第1および第2要素の一方を前記駆動軸に連結すると共に該第1および第2要素の一方からの動力を所定の変速比で前記駆動軸に伝達することができる動力伝達機構と、この動力伝達機構により前記第1および第2要素の一方が前記駆動軸に連結されているときに前記第1および第2要素の他方を前記駆動軸に連結して前記内燃機関からの動力を一定の変速比である固定変速比で前記駆動軸に伝達可能とする固定変速比設定機構とを含む変速伝達手段と、
を備える動力出力装置。 - 前記変速伝達手段は、前記動力分配統合機構の前記第1および第2要素の一方を前記駆動軸に連結可能な少なくとも1組の平行軸式ギヤ列を有する第1変速機構と、前記第1および第2要素の他方を前記駆動軸に連結可能な少なくとも1組の平行軸式ギヤ列を有する第2変速機構とを含む平行軸式変速機であり、前記動力伝達機構は前記第1および第2変速機構の一方であると共に、前記固定変速比設定機構は前記第1および第2変速機構の他方に含まれて単独では変速比の設定に用いられない平行軸式ギヤ列である請求項1に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記変速伝達手段の前記動力伝達機構は、前記第1および第2要素の一方と前記駆動軸とを常時連結している請求項1に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記固定変速比設定機構は、前記固定変速比を複数段階に設定可能に構成されている請求項3に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記固定変速比設定機構は、互いに異なるギヤ比を有すると共に前記第1および第2要素の他方と前記駆動軸との連結に選択的に使用され得る複数の平行軸式ギヤ列を含む請求項4に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記変速伝達手段は、前記動力分配統合機構の前記第1要素に接続される入力要素と前記駆動軸に接続される出力要素と固定可能要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された第1変速用遊星歯車機構と、該第1変速用遊星歯車機構の前記固定可能要素を回転不能に固定可能な第1固定機構とからなる第1変速機構と、前記動力分配統合機構の前記第2要素に接続される入力要素と前記駆動軸に接続される出力要素と固定可能要素とを有すると共にこれら3つの要素が互いに差動回転できるように構成された第2変速用遊星歯車機構と、該第2変速用遊星歯車機構の前記固定可能要素を回転不能に固定可能な第2固定機構とからなる第2変速機構とを含む遊星歯車式変速機であり、前記動力伝達機構は前記第1および第2変速機構の一方であると共に前記固定変速比設定機構は前記第1および第2変速機構の他方に含まれる第1または第2固定機構である請求項1に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記変速伝達手段は、前記第1変速用遊星歯車機構および前記第2変速用遊星歯車機構の何れか一方の前記出力要素と前記固定可能要素との接続および該接続の解除を実行可能な変速用接続断接機構を更に含む請求項6に記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記第1電動機と前記第1要素との接続および該接続の解除と、前記第2電動機と前記第2要素との接続および該接続の解除と、前記内燃機関と前記第3要素との接続および該接続の解除との何れかを実行可能な接続断接手段を更に備える請求項1から7の何れかに記載の動力出力装置。
