Claims (38)
- 作用する力を測定するための力検出トランスデューサであって、
a.細長く弾性的に伸縮可能な行方向導電糸と、
b.細長く弾性的に伸縮可能な列方向導電糸と
を備え、
c.前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つにおける弾性的な伸縮能力は、少なくとも1パーセント程度であり、
d.前記行方向糸と前記列方向糸との間で前記行方向糸及び前記列方向糸と導電可能に接触して位置するピエゾ抵抗材
をさらに備える力検出トランスデューサ。 - 前記ピエゾ抵抗材は、前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つの上の弾性的に変形可能な被覆に含まれるとしてさらに定義される請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向糸及び前記列方向糸は、弾性的に変形可能な基材シートの対における内側で対面する側に取り付けられる請求項2に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記基材シートの少なくとも1つは織布から作製される請求項3に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つは、絶縁性縫製糸によって基材シートに取り付けられる請求項4に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸は、弾性的に変形可能な絶縁基材シートの片側に取り付けられる請求項2に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記基材シートの少なくとも1つは織布から作製される請求項6に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つは、絶縁性縫製糸によって基材シートに取り付けられる請求項7に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記ピエゾ抵抗材は、前記行方向導電糸が接触し且つ前記列方向導電糸が接触する、ピエゾ抵抗物質を含んだ弾性的に変形可能なピエゾ抵抗基材シートに含まれるとしてさらに定義される請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記ピエゾ抵抗基材シートは前記ピエゾ抵抗物質を含浸させている請求項9に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向糸及び前記列方向糸は、前記ピエゾ抵抗基材シートの対向する両側の平坦な表面に取り付けられる請求項9に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向糸及び前記列方向糸の少なくとも1つは、弾性的に変形可能な基材シートに取り付けられる請求項11に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくともいずれかはポリマーコアを有する請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記ポリマーコアは糸の形態である請求項13に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記ポリマーコアはヤーンの形態である請求項13に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記ポリマーコアは、前記ポリマーコアの上に導電性被覆を形成している請求項13に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくともいずれかの弾性的な伸縮能力は、少なくとも約10パーセント程度である請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくともいずれかの弾性的な伸縮能力は、少なくとも約30パーセント程度である請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 1つの前記行方向導電糸は、複数m本の平行な行方向導電糸のうちの1つによって構成される請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記列方向導電糸は、前記複数の行方向導電糸に対し角度を付けられる請求項19に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 1つの前記列方向導電糸は、複数n本の列方向導電糸のうちの1つによって構成される請求項20に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記複数の行方向導電糸は第1の表面に位置する請求項21に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記複数の列方向導電糸は第2の表面に位置する請求項22に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記第1の表面及び前記第2の表面は互いに平行である請求項23に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくともいずれかは、前記導電糸の第1の端部及び第2の端部を結ぶ線に対して波状に配列された経路に配置される請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくともいずれかは、モノフィラメント糸、編糸、及び編ヤーンからなる群から選択されたポリマーから作製される請求項1に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。

細長く弾性的に伸縮可能な行方向導電糸及び細長く弾性的に伸縮可能な列方向導電糸であって、該行方向導電糸及び該列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つが、少なくとも約1パーセント程度の弾性的な伸縮能力を有し、該行方向導電糸及び該列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つはまた、導電性被覆がその上に形成されたポリマーコアを有する、行方向導電糸及び列方向導電糸と、
前記行方向糸と前記列方向糸との間で前記行方向糸及び前記列方向糸と導電可能に接触して位置するピエゾ抵抗材であって、前記導電性被覆の上に形成されるピエゾ抵抗被覆として定義されるピエゾ抵抗材と
を備える力検出トランスデューサ。 - 作用する力を測定するための力検出トランスデューサにおいて、
細長く弾性的に伸縮可能な行方向導電糸と、
細長く弾性的に伸縮可能な列方向導電糸であって、前記行方向導電糸及び該列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つが、少なくとも約1パーセント程度の弾性的な伸縮能力を有し、前記行方向導電糸及び該列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つはまた、ポリマーコアを有する、列方向導電糸と、
前記行方向糸と前記列方向糸との間で前記行方向糸及び前記列方向糸と導電可能に接触して位置するピエゾ抵抗材であって、前記ポリマーコアの上に形成されるピエゾ抵抗被覆として定義されるピエゾ抵抗材と
を備える力検出トランスデューサ。 - 空間的に分離された部分に作用する力を測定するための力検出トランスデューサアレイであって、
a.互いに空間的に分離され、細長く弾性的に伸縮可能である複数m本の行方向導電糸と、
b.互いに空間的に分離され、細長く弾性的に伸縮可能である複数n本の列方向導電糸と
を備え、
c.前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つにおける弾性的な伸縮能力は、少なくとも1パーセント程度であり、
d.前記行方向導電糸と前記列方向導電糸との間で前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸と導電可能に接触して位置し、それにより前記導電糸のp=m×n個の交差部で複数p個のセンサ素子を形成するピエゾ抵抗材をさらに備える力検出トランスデューサアレイ。 - 前記ピエゾ抵抗材は、回路素子を含むとしてさらに定義され、前記回路素子は、前記p個のセンサのうちの少なくとも1つと直列で非両方向性電気的インピーダンス特性を有し、それにより、前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸における選択される対のマトリクスアドレス指定によって、前記センサ素子の電気的インピーダンスの測定同士の間でのクロストークを低減する請求項29に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
- 前記非両方向性電気的インピーダンス特性はダイオードのような特性であるとしてさらに定義される請求項30に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
- 前記ピエゾ抵抗材は、エラストマー固溶体内に懸濁する導電性粒子を含むとしてさらに定義される請求項31に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
- 前記ダイオードのような特性は、前記ピエゾ抵抗材の表面を少なくとも1つの金属酸化物で被覆することによって形成される請求項32に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
- 前記金属酸化物は、少なくとも1つの酸化銅を含むとしてさらに定義される請求項33に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
- 前記ピエゾ抵抗材は、前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸のうちの少なくとも1つの上の弾性的に変形可能な被覆に含まれるとしてさらに定義される請求項32に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
- 前記ピエゾ抵抗材は、前記行方向導電糸が接触し且つ前記列方向導電糸が接触する、ピエゾ抵抗基材を含む弾性的に変形可能なピエゾ抵抗基材シートに含まれるとしてさらに定義される請求項32に記載の力検出トランスデューサ。
- 空間的に分離された部分に作用する力を測定するための力検出トランスデューサアレイにおいて、
互いに空間的に分離され、細長く弾性的に伸縮可能である複数の行方向導電糸であって、各々が、導電性被覆がその上に形成されたポリマーコアを含む行方向導電糸と、
互いに空間的に分離され、細長く弾性的に伸縮可能である複数の列方向導電糸であって、各々が、導電性被覆がその上に形成されたポリマーコアを含む列方向導電糸と、
前記複数の行方向導電糸及び列方向導電糸の少なくとも1つにおける前記導電性被覆の少なくとも1つの上にある弾性的に変形可能な被覆に含まれるピエゾ抵抗材であって、前記複数の行方向導電糸及び列方向導電糸が、前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸の複数の交差部で複数のセンサ素子を定義するピエゾ抵抗材と
を備える力検出トランスデューサアレイ。 - 前記行方向導電糸及び前記列方向導電糸は、弾性的に変形可能な基材シートに取り付けられる請求項37に記載の力検出トランスデューサアレイ。
