Abstract
【解決手段】酸化アルミニウムをベースとする顆粒であって、次の特性:平均粒径:5.0〜150μm、タップ密度:300〜1200g/lを有する。該顆粒は、酸化アルミニウムを水中に分散させ、噴霧乾燥させ、場合により熱処理および/またはシラン化することにより製造される。シラン化された形で該顆粒は次の特性を有する:平均粒径:5〜160μm、タップ密度:300〜1200g/l、炭素含有率:0.3〜12.0質量%。
【効果】該顆粒は特に触媒担体として、および化粧品、トナー粉末、塗料およびラッカー中で、研磨材およびポリッシング剤として、またはガラスおよびセラミックスの製造における原料として使用される。

噴霧乾燥されておらず、かつ規定の凝集物サイズを有していない酸化アルミニウムと比較して、本発明による酸化アルミニウム顆粒は定義された粒径を有する。
本発明による酸化アルミニウム顆粒により粉立ちのない取り扱いが可能である。
高いタップ密度により輸送、包装コストが低減される。
本発明による酸化アルミニウム顆粒は触媒担体として使用することができる。噴霧乾燥されていない酸化アルミニウムは、たとえば流動床から連行されるので、この目的のために適切ではない。
●カチオン、たとえばH+、Cs+、希土類金属または貴金属のカチオンの導入、
●適切な前駆物質分子、たとえばTiCl4、TiBr4、Ti(Oet)4、TiCp2Cl2(Cp=シクロペンタジエニル)、Mn2(CO)10、Fe(CO)5との反応による材料または金属酸化物の導入、
●金属塩または貴金属塩の溶液を用いた含浸による貴金属酸化物または金属酸化物の導入。
炭化水素のオキシ官能化、過酸化水素、アルキルもしくはアリールヒドロペルオキシド、たとえばt−ブチルヒドロペルオキシドまたはフェニルエチルヒドロペルオキシド(C6H5CH2CH2OOH)および/または酸素を用いてエポキシドを得るためのオレフィンの酸化、芳香族化合物のアルキル化、水素添加、脱水素、水和、脱水和、異性化、付加および脱離反応、求核置換および求電子置換反応、芳香族化合物及びヘテロ芳香族化合物のヒドロキシル化、エポキシ/アルデヒド転位、アミノ化、アンモオキシム化、重合反応、エステル化およびエーテル化反応、ならびに触媒反応による窒素酸化物の除去。
公知の設計のバーナー中で、予め気化した三塩化アルミニウム(AlCl3)320kg/hを水素100Nm3/hおよび空気450Nm3/hと共に燃焼させた。
次の物理化学的特性を有する酸化アルミニウムを熱分解法により製造された酸化アルミニウムとして使用する。これはpigments publication series、第56号、"Highly disperse metal oxides from the Aerosil process"、第4版、1989年2月、Degussa社から公知である。
BET表面積はDIN66131に従って窒素を用いて測定する。
タップ密度(以前のタップ体積)は、振動する体積測定装置中で規定の条件下に粉末をタッピングした後の質量および体積の商である。DIN ISO 787/XIによればタップ密度はg/cm3で記載される。しかし、熱分解法酸化物の極めて低いタップ密度に基づいて、この値をg/lで記載する。乾燥およびふるい分けならびにタッピング操作の繰り返しも省略する。
振動体積計、
メスシリンダー、
実験室用てんびん(精度0.01g)。
顆粒200±10mlを、空間が残らず、かつ表面が水平になるように、振動体積計のメスシリンダー中に充てんする。装入した試料の質量を0.01gの精度で秤量する。試料を含有するメスシリンダーを振動体積計のホルダーに設置し、かつ1250回タッピングする。
蒸留水または脱イオン水、pH>5.5、
メタノール、分析用グレード、
緩衝液、pH7.00pH4.66。
実験室用てんびん(精度0.1g)、
ガラスビーカー、250ml、
電磁撹拌機
電磁攪拌棒、長さ4cm、
組み合わせpH電極、
pH測定装置、
軽量分配ボトル、100ml。
測定はDIN/ISO787/IXに従って実施する。
較正:pH値を測定する前に緩衝液を用いてメーターを較正した。複数の測定を連続的に実施する場合、1回の較正で十分である。
DIN ISO787IIに記載されている質量10gの試料分散で乾燥損失を質量1gの試料を使用して測定した。
強熱損失の測定の基礎
強熱損失を1000℃で測定した。この温度で化学的に結合している水を物理的に結合している水と共に除去した。
磁器製るつぼ、るつぼ蓋を有する、
マッフル炉、
分析用てんびん(精度0.1mg)、
デシケーター。
DIN55921による分散で、予備乾燥していない材料0.3〜1gを0.1mgの精度で予めか焼した、るつぼ蓋を有する磁器製るつぼに秤量し、かつ1000℃で2時間、マッフル炉中でか焼した。粉立ちを回避するための配慮が必要である。秤量した試料をまだ冷たいうちにマッフル炉中に設置することが有利であることが判明した。炉をゆっくり加熱して磁器製るつぼ中での比較的激しい空気の乱流を回避する。温度が1000℃に達したら、か焼をさらに2時間継続する。次いで試料をるつぼ蓋でふたをして、るつぼをデシケーター中、青色シリカゲル上に設置し、質量の損失を秤量する。

結果を小数点第一位まで示す。
熱分解法により製造した酸化アルミニウムを、ローター/ステーターの原理により運転される分散装置を使用して脱イオン水中に分散させる。得られる分散液を噴霧乾燥させる。完成した製品をフィルターまたはサイクロンにより分離する。
Claims (5)
- 熱分解法により製造された酸化アルミニウムをベースとし、次の物理化学的特性:
平均粒径:5.0〜150μm
タップ密度:300〜1200g/l
を有する顆粒。 - 請求項1に記載の顆粒の製造方法において、熱分解法により製造された酸化アルミニウムを水中に分散させ、噴霧乾燥させ、かつ得られた顆粒を場合により1〜8時間、150〜1100℃の温度で熱処理することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の顆粒の製造方法。
- 熱分解法により製造された酸化アルミニウムをベースとし、次の物理化学的特性:
平均粒径:5〜160μm
タップ密度:300〜1200g/l
炭素含有率:0.3〜12.0質量%
を有する顆粒。 - 請求項3に記載の顆粒の製造方法において、熱分解法により製造された酸化アルミニウムを水中に分散させ、噴霧乾燥させ、かつ得られた顆粒を場合により1〜8時間、150〜1100℃の温度で熱処理し、かつ次いでシラン化することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の顆粒の製造方法。
- 触媒担体として、および化粧品、トナー粉末、塗料およびラッカー中で、研磨材およびポリッシング剤として、およびガラスおよびセラミックスの製造における原料としての、請求項1および3に記載の顆粒の使用。
