Abstract

Description
本明細書は、一般に無線通信に、そして特に、直交周波数分割無線通信システムにおけるパイロット情報送信に関する。
直交周波数分割多元接続(OFDMA)システムは、直交周波数分割多重化(OFDM)を利用する。OFDMは、全システム帯域幅を複数の(N個の)直交周波数サブキャリアに分割する(partitions)マルチキャリア変調技法(multi-carrier modulation technique)である。これらのサブキャリアはまた、トーン(tones)、ビン(bins)および周波数チャネル(frequency channels)とも呼ばれ得る。各サブキャリアは、データで変調され得る。各OFDMシンボル期間(symbol period)において、全部でN個のサブキャリア上で最大N個の変調シンボルが送信され得る。これらの変調シンボルは、N個の時間領域チップまたはサンプル(time-domain chips or samples)を含む変換されたシンボル(transformed symbol)を生成するために、Nポイント逆高速フーリエ変換(IFFT)によって時間領域に変換される。

前記少なくとも1つのアンテナと前記メモリとに結合されたプロセッサと、なお、前記プロセッサは、前記少なくとも1つの時間選択性パイロットパターンおよび前記少なくとも1つの周波数選択性パイロットパターンのうちの1つのパイロットパターンを選択する;
を備える無線通信装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの時間選択性パイロットパターンは、複数の時間選択性パイロットパターンを備え、前記少なくとも1つの周波数選択性パイロットパターンは、複数の周波数選択性パイロットパターンを備えており、また、前記プロセッサは、前記複数の時間選択性パイロットパターンの少なくとも1つと前記複数の周波数選択性パイロットパターンの少なくとも1つとを選択する、請求項1に記載の無線通信装置。
