Abstract
Description
「ポリマーフィルム」は、本明細書で使用する場合、性能を高める層として機能する比較的薄くおよび硬質のポリマー層を意味する。「ポリマーフィルム」は、本明細書で使用する場合、ポリマー層とは異なり、ポリマーフィルムはそれ自体、複数層グレージング構造体に必要な貫入抵抗(penetration resistance)およびガラス保持特性を提供せず、むしろ赤外線吸収特性のような性能を改善する。ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)が、ポリマーフィルムとして最も一般的に使用される。
「ポリマー層」は、本明細書で使用する場合、積層されたグレージングパネルに適切な貫入抵抗およびガラス保持特性を提供する中間層として使用するため、単独で適切な薄い層または一つを超える層のスタック中に、任意の適切な方法で形成される熱可塑性ポリマー構造体を意味する。可塑化されたポリ(ビニルブチラール)は、ポリマー層を形成するのに最も一般的に使用される。

前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層および前記第三ポリマー層の間に配置され、
前記第一ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力より少なくとも15kg/cm2大きく、

- 前記第一ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の前記表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される700未満のRSM値を有し、および前記第三ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の前記表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される700未満のRSM値を有する、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記第一ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の前記表面が、25から50のRZ値を有し、および前記第三ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の前記表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される25から50のRZ値を有する、請求項2に記載の中間層。
- 前記第一ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の前記表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される700未満のRSM値を有する、請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 前記第一ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の前記表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される25から50のRZ値を有する、請求項1に記載の中間層。
- 第一ポリマーの溶融物、第二ポリマーの溶融物、および第三ポリマーの溶融物を形成するステップ、および
前記第一ポリマーの溶融物、前記第二ポリマーの溶融物および前記第三ポリマーの溶融物を同時に押出して前記中間層を形成するステップ
を含み、
前記中間層の表面が、前記同時押出し中メルトフラクチャーによって付与される20から50のRZ値および前記押出し中メルトフラクチャーによって付与される800未満のRSM値を有し、
前記第一ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力より少なくとも15kg/cm2大きく、および
前記第三ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力より少なくとも15kg/cm2大きい
方法によって製造されるポリマー中間層。 - 前記第三ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される20から60のRZ値、およびメルトフラクチャーによって付与される800未満のRSM値を有する、請求項8に記載の中間層。

- 可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーを含む第一ポリマー層、
可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーを含む第二ポリマー層、および
可塑化された熱可塑性ポリマーを含む第三ポリマー層
を含み、
前記第二ポリマー層が、前記第一ポリマー層と第三ポリマー層の間に配置され、
前記第一ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断応力より少なくとも15kg/cm2大きく、
前記第三ポリマー層の引張り破断応力が、前記第二ポリマー層の引張り破断力より少なくとも15kg/cm2大きく、および
前記第一ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される20から60のRZ値およびメルトフラクチャーによって付与される800未満のRSM値を有する
ポリマー中間層を提供するステップ、および
前記ポリマー中間層を、二つのガラス基板の間に積層して複数層ガラスパネルを形成するステップ
を含む方法で製造された複数層ガラスパネル。 - 前記第三ポリマー層の、前記第二ポリマー層に対して反対側の表面が、メルトフラクチャーによって付与される20から60のRZ値、およびメルトフラクチャーによって付与される800未満のRSM値を有する、請求項15に記載の中間層。
- 前記第一ポリマー層、前記第二ポリマー層、および前記第三ポリマー層が各々ポリ(ビニルブチラール)を含む、請求項16に記載の中間層。
