Abstract
Description
前記ポリマー樹脂が、

その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂
を含む、複合材料が提供される。
ポリマー樹脂、及び少なくとも1つの繊維強化材を提供する工程と、
ポリマー樹脂を繊維強化材へ適用する工程と
を含む、複合材料の製造方法であって、
ポリマー樹脂が、少なくとも1つの2官能エポキシ樹脂と、及びその骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂とを含む、製造方法が提供される。
少なくとも1つの2官能エポキシ樹脂と、
その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂と
を含む、ポリマー樹脂が提供される。
142℃の融点、20ミクロンの粒径を有するOrgasol 3502 D NAT1(50%のPA12及び50%のPA6のコポリマー)
160℃の融点、20ミクロンの粒径及びOrgasol 1002 DNAT1等の市販の品種と比較して低い分子量を有する、開発品種Orgasol CG199(80%のPA12及び20%のPA6のコポリマー)
160℃の融点、20ミクロンの粒径及びCG199より高い分子量を有し、Orgasol 1002 DNAT1と比肩し得る、Orgasol 3801 DNAT1(PA12及びPA6のコポリマー)
217℃の融点、20ミクロンの粒径を有するOrgasol 1002 D NAT1(100%PA6)。
第4の態様の方法により硬化複合材料を作製する工程、及び
硬化複合材料を航空宇宙部材を製造するために使用する工程
を含む、硬化複合材料含有部材を調製する方法が提供される。
表1で示される配合に類似の幾つかの配合を、MY 0510及びMY 721(非メタ置換多官能エポキシ樹脂)に代えて、MY 0600(メタ置換フェニル環を有する3官能エポキシ樹脂)を使用して製造した。これらの配合物を製造して、圧縮を測定するため、及び片刃ノッチビーム(SENB)テストを使用して、モードI荷重下で樹脂破壊エネルギーを測定するために試験した。
G1c値はモードI接着破壊エネルギーを表し、American Society for Testing and Materials(ASTM)試験標準 E 399に従って実施されるSENBテストにより決定される。
体積弾性率は、Boeing抗座屈治具装置(antibuckling jig apparatus)及びASTM D695のテスト方法を使用して、8mm×16mm×80mmの寸法の樹脂の棒についての圧縮により決定される。
0°引張り弾性率及び強度は、中間弾性率繊維中で35%樹脂含有量を有する268gsm繊維面積重量プレプレグで作製した4層一方向ラミネートを使用して測定された。ラミネートをオートクレーブ中で180℃で2時間硬化し、1mmの呼称厚さ(nominal thickness)を得た。固化はC−スキャンで確認した。試験片を切り出し、EN 2651に従ってテストした。結果は、EM 3783に従って呼称硬化層厚さを基にして60%容量画分に対して正規化される。
その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換不飽和フェニル環を含まないエポキシ樹脂の代わりにMY0600、即ち、メタ置換フェニル環を有する3官能エポキシ樹脂を使用すると、
オープンホール引張り強度(OHT)
25JでのCAI
1mmの辛うじて目に見える衝撃損傷(BVID)衝撃エネルギーでのCAI
において明白な増加を与える。
その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換不飽和フェニル環を含まないエポキシ樹脂の代わりにMY0600を使用すると、
オープンホール圧縮(OHC)性能(バッチ55035−1A及び1351を参照されたい)
面内剪断強度
が改善される。
その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換不飽和フェニル環を含まないエポキシ樹脂の代わりにMY0600を使用すると、
0°−引張り強度及び弾性率
面内剪断弾性率
−55℃〜120℃の温度でのILSS
について実質的に負の影響をもたらさない。
追加の多官能エポキシ樹脂を含む本発明の更に特定の複合材料配合を調製した。これらの更なる配合は表5で示される。
全ての材料は、一次構造の複合材料に対するBoeingテスト方法であるBMS8−276により試験された。BMS8−276は、テキストデータの生成のために使用される多数のAirbus Industries Test Methods(AITM)を引用するAirbus標準AIMS 05−01−002に類似しているが、異なる試験方法を使用し、また、異なるレイアップ(lay−up)及びサンプル寸法を使用した。
複合材料の特性は、35%の樹脂含有量を有する268gsm繊維面積重量プレプレグを使用して発生させた。
異なるインターリーブ粒子を使用することにより、性能は、不溶性熱可塑性粒子の更なる選択により更に増強することができる。
Orgasol 1002との組合せでOrgasol 3502を使用すると、
25JでのCAI
1mmの辛うじて目に見える衝撃損傷(BVID)衝撃エネルギーでのCAI
OHT
において明白な増加を与える。
Orgasol 3502と1002の組合せは、単独品種としての3502と比較して良好に機能する:
ILSS及び加熱/湿潤OHCでの減少が記録された。
Orgasol 1002に代わるOrgasol CG199の使用は、OHTについて予想外の効果を有した:
高いOHT値がこの品種に対して記録された。
低いCAI値が、低い、粒子の分子量によって記録された。
Claims (23)
- 少なくとも1つのポリマー樹脂(polymeric resin)及び少なくとも1つの繊維強化材を含む複合材料であって、
前記ポリマー樹脂が、
少なくとも1つの2官能エポキシ樹脂と、
その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂と、及び
ポリアミドから選択される不溶性熱可塑性粒子と
を含む、複合材料。 - 前記2官能エポキシ樹脂が、飽和、不飽和、環状脂肪族、芳香族、脂環式、又は複素環式の2官能エポキシ樹脂の少なくとも1つから選択される、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記2官能エポキシ樹脂が、ビスフェノールF及びビスフェノールA(場合により臭素化されている)のジグルシジルエーテル、フェノール及びクレゾールエポキシノボラック、フェノール−アルデヒド付加物のグルシジルエーテル、脂肪族ジオールのグリシジルエーテル、ジグリシジルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、芳香族エポキシ、脂肪族ポリグリシジルエーテル、エポキシ化オレフィン、臭素化芳香族グリシジルアミン、複素環式グルシジルイミジン及びアミド、グリシジルエーテル、フッ素化エポキシ、又はこれらの任意の組合せを基にした任意の樹脂を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料。
- 前記2官能エポキシ樹脂が、ビスフェノールFのジグルシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールAのジグルシジルエーテル、ジグリシジルジヒドロキシナフタレン、又はこれらの任意の組合せを基にした任意の樹脂から選択される、請求項3に記載の複合材料。
- 前記2官能エポキシ樹脂が、複合材料の80重量%〜0.1重量%の範囲内で存在する、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂が、3官能又は4官能であるエポキシ樹脂である、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記4官能エポキシ樹脂が、N,N,N’,N’−テトラグリシジル−m−キシレンジアミンである、請求項6に記載の複合材料。
- 前記3官能エポキシ樹脂が、フェノール及びクレゾールエポキシノボラック、フェノール−アルデヒド付加物のグリシジルエーテル、芳香族エポキシ、二脂肪族トリグリシジルエーテル、脂肪族ポリグリシジルエーテル、エポキシ化オレフィン、臭素化樹脂、トリグリシジルアミノフェニル、芳香族グリシジルアミン、複素環式グリシジルイミジン及びアミド、グリシジルエーテル、フッ素化エポキシ、又はこれらの任意の組合せを基にした任意の樹脂を含む、請求項6に記載の複合材料。
- 前記2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂のフェニル環が、水素、ヒドロキシル、アルキル、アルケニル、アルキニル、アルコキシル、アリール、アリールオキシル、アラルキルオキシル、アラルキル、ハロ、ニトロ、又はシアノ基の少なくとも1つを含む他の適当な非エポキシ置換基で置換されている、請求項1から8までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有するエポキシ樹脂が、複合材料の80重量%〜5重量%の範囲内で存在する、請求項1から9までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記複合材料の前記繊維強化材が、合成若しくは天然繊維、又はこれらの組合せを含むハイブリッド若しくは混合繊維系から選択される、請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記繊維強化材が、ガラス繊維、炭素、又はアラミド(芳香族ポリアミド)繊維の少なくとも1つから選択される、請求項11に記載の複合材料。
- 少なくとも3つのエポキシ官能基を有し、メタ置換エポキシ基を有する骨格中にフェニル環を有さない、少なくとも1つの追加の多官能エポキシ樹脂を含む、請求項1から12までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記追加の多官能エポキシ樹脂が、フェノール及びクレゾールエポキシノボラック、フェノール−アルデヒド付加物のグルシジルエーテル、二脂肪族ジオールのグリシジルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、芳香族エポキシ、二脂肪族トリグリシジルエーテル、脂肪族ポリグリシジルエーテル、エポキシ化オレフィン、臭素化、芳香族グリシジルアミン、トリグリシジルアミノフェノール、複素環式グルシジルイミジン及びアミド、グリシジルエーテル、フッ素化エポキシ、又はこれらの任意の組合せを基にした任意の樹脂を含む、請求項13に記載の複合材料。
- 前記多官能エポキシ樹脂が、複合材料の80重量%〜0.1重量%の範囲内で存在する、請求項13又は14に記載の複合材料。
- 前記少なくとも1つの硬化剤を含む、請求項1から15までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記硬化剤が、4,4’−ジアミノジフェニルスルホン(4,4’−DDS)及び3,3’−ジアミノジフェニルスルホン(3,3’−DDS)の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項16に記載の複合材料。
- 前記柔軟剤、強靭化剤/粒子、促進剤、熱可塑性ポリマー及びコアシェルゴム、難燃剤、湿潤剤、顔料/染料、UV吸収剤、抗真菌化合物、充填剤、導電性粒子、及び粘度調整剤から選択される少なくとも1つの追加成分を含む、請求項1から17までのいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記強靭化剤/粒子が、ポリアミド、コポリアミド、ポリイミド、アラミド、ポリケトン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、ポリスルホン、高性能炭化水素ポリマー、液晶ポリマー、PTFE、エラストマー、セグメント化エラストマー、ポリカーボネート、ポリアセタール、ポリフェニレンオキシド、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリアリーレート、ポリアクリレート、ポリエステル、ポリエーテル、ポリアミドイミド、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルスルホン、及びポリエーテルケトンの単独又は組合せのいずれかを含む、請求項18に記載の複合材料。
- 少なくとも1つの2官能エポキシ樹脂と、
その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂と、
ポリアミドから選択される不溶性熱可塑性粒子と
を含む、ポリマー系。 - ポリマー樹脂と、少なくとも1つの繊維強化材と、ポリアミドから選択される不溶性熱可塑性粒子とを提供する工程、
前記ポリマー樹脂及び不溶性熱可塑性粒子を前記繊維強化材へ適用する工程
を含む、複合材料の製造方法であって、
前記ポリマー樹脂が、少なくとも1つの2官能エポキシ樹脂と、その骨格中に少なくとも1つのメタ置換フェニル環を有する、2つを超える官能基を有する少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂とを含む、製造方法。 - 請求項21に記載の工程と、複合材料を硬化させる工程とを含む、硬化複合材料の製造方法。
- 請求項22に従って硬化複合材料を作製する工程と、
前記硬化複合材料を使用して航空宇宙部材を製造する工程と
を含む、硬化複合材料を含む部材の製造方法。
