Claims (15)
- 回転ドライバに接続可能な回転入力と、車両の車輪に接続可能な回転出力と、駆動比の無段変化を提供するために回転入力と回転出力との間に結合される変動器と、回転入力及び回転出力を選択的に結合/結合解除するように構成された発進装置と、を有し、変動器が所要のトルクを与えるように構成され配列され、発進装置が所要のトルク容量を提供するように構成され配列されるような連続可変車両変速機であって、
所要のトルクを設定するために変動器へ、及びそのトルク容量を設定するために発進装置へ、同じ制御信号を適用する制御構成を有することを特徴とする連続可変変速機。 - 前記変動器及び発進装置の構成は、クラッチのトルク容量が変動器により与えられる出力トルクを常に越えるようなものであることを特徴とする請求項1の連続可変変速機。
- 前記制御信号が液圧であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2の連続可変変速機。
- 前記発進装置がクラッチ又はブレーキを有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかの連続可変変速機。
- 前記液圧が変動器の液圧アクチュエータに適用され、変動器の可動なトルク伝達部分に適用される力を決定することを特徴とする請求項3の連続可変変速機。
- 前記変動器が一方から他方へトルクを伝達するために一対のレース上で運動する可動ローラを有し、液圧アクチュエータがローラ上に力を与えるようにローラに結合され、液圧が上記力を決定するために液圧アクチュエータに適用されることを特徴とする請求項3の連続可変変速機。
- 前記変動器が更にレースに対してトルクを伝達するために一対のレースの一方に結合された牽引負荷装置を有し、牽引負荷装置が伝達するトルクにより決定される牽引負荷をレースに適用するように構成され、配列されることを特徴とする請求項1の連続可変変速機。
- 前記牽引負荷装置が共通軸線のまわりで回転するように装着された第1及び第2の部分を有し、第1及び第2の部分は、他方に関する一方の回転が他方に関する一方の軸方向変位を生じさせるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項7の連続可変変速機。
- ほぼトロイダル状の変動器空洞を一緒に画定し、共通の変動器軸線上で回転するように装着された少なくとも1対の部分トロイダル状に凹んだレースと、部分トロイダル状に凹んだレース上で運動し、変動器駆動比で駆動力を伝達するようにレース間に位置する少なくとも2つのローラと、を有し、ローラが変動器軸線に対するローラ軸線の傾斜を変更するように傾斜でき、変動器駆動比の無段変化を許容するような方法で装着されるような変動器であって、
前記レースの一方が、接続シャフトと変動器レースとの間でトルクを伝達すると共に伝達されるトルクの関数である牽引負荷力をレースに与えるのに役立つ機械的な牽引負荷構造体を介して、接続シャフトに結合され、牽引負荷力がローラと係合するように変動器レースを押圧して、駆動力の伝達に必要な牽引を提供し、変動器がローラの傾斜を制限する機械的な当接部を有することを特徴とする変動器。 - 前記牽引負荷装置が共通軸線のまわりで回転するように装着された第1及び第2の部分を有し、第1及び第2の部分は、他方に関する一方の回転が他方に関する一方の軸方向変位を生じさせるように、形状づけられることを特徴とする請求項9の変動器。
- 前記牽引負荷装置の第1の部分が円周方向に延びて半径方向の面に対して傾斜する少なくとも1つのカム表面と、カム表面上に乗り、第2の部分に当接する少なくとも1つの従節とを有することを特徴とする請求項10の変動器。
- 前記ローラが液圧ピストン/シリンダ構造体に作動的に結合され、機械的な当接部がその動程を制限してローラの傾斜を制限するようにピストンに当接するように位置することを特徴とする請求項9ないし11のいずれかの変動器。
- 回転ドライバに接続可能な回転入力と、車両の車輪に接続可能な回転出力と、駆動比の無段変化を提供するために回転入力と回転出力との間で結合される変動器と、回転入力及び回転出力を選択的に結合/結合解除するように構成された発進装置とを有する連続可変車両変速機を制御する方法であって、
所望の反力トルクを提供するように変動器を制御する工程と、変動器により発進装置に適用されたトルクが発進装置のトルク容量よりも常に小さくなるように、変動器の反力トルクに同調して発進装置のトルク容量を制御する工程と、を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 変動器及び発進装置に同じ制御信号を適用する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項13の方法。
- 変動器の反力トルク及び発進装置のトルク容量を漸進的に増大させることにより発進装置を管理する工程を有し、少なくとも発進装置のスリップが無くなるまで、発進装置のトルク容量が変動器により適用されるトルクを常に越えるようにし、それによって、その時点まで、変速機が発進装置を介して適用されるトルクによりその最小比に維持されることを特徴とする請求項13又は14の方法。
