Abstract
【解決手段】室外機10は、平面形状略矩形の筐体10aの背面に背面吸気口12が形成され、一方の側面には側面吸気口12aが形成され、正面には排気口11が形成されている。背面吸気口12と側面吸気口12aの内側にはいずれもパラレルフローのダウンフロータイプである背面側熱交換器と側面側熱交換器を配置し、前記背面側熱交換器と側面側熱交換器は、凝縮時には背面側熱交換器の偏平チューブを通った冷媒が側面側熱交換器に送られるように接続する。背面側熱交換器と側面側熱交換器の少なくとも一方は気流方向に整列する複数の熱交換器により構成され、この複数の熱交換器の間には、凝縮時に風下側の熱交換器から風上側の熱交換器へと流れる冷媒回路が形成される。

Claims (6)
- 平面形状略矩形で、長辺側が正面及び背面、短辺側が左右両側面となった筐体の中に、圧縮機、熱交換器、及び送風機を収容する空気調和機の室外機において、
前記筐体には、背面と一方の側面に背面吸気口と側面吸気口を、正面に排気口を、それぞれ形成し、前記排気口の内側には当該排気口を通じて筐体内の空気を排出する送風機を配置し、前記背面吸気口と側面吸気口の内側にはいずれもパラレルフローのダウンフロータイプである背面側熱交換器と側面側熱交換器を配置し、前記背面側熱交換器と側面側熱交換器は、凝縮時には背面側熱交換器の偏平チューブを通った冷媒が側面側熱交換器に送られるように接続されているとともに、前記背面側熱交換器と側面側熱交換器の少なくとも一方は気流方向に整列する複数の熱交換器により構成され、前記複数の熱交換器の間には、凝縮時に風下側の熱交換器から風上側の熱交換器へと流れる冷媒回路が形成されることを特徴とする空気調和機の室外機。 - 気流方向に整列する複数の熱交換器により構成される前記背面側熱交換器または前記側面側熱交換器において、凝縮時、冷媒が風下側熱交換器の上部ヘッダパイプに流入して当該熱交換器の下部ヘッダパイプから流出し、次いで隣接の風上側熱交換器の上部ヘッダパイプに流入して当該熱交換器の下部ヘッダパイプから流出する冷媒回路が構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
- 気流方向に整列する複数の熱交換器により構成される前記背面側熱交換器または前記側面側熱交換器において、隣接する風下側熱交換器と風上側熱交換器の上部ヘッダパイプ同士または下部ヘッダパイプ同士が一体化されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
- 前記背面側熱交換器から前記側面側熱交換器を経る冷媒回路において、凝縮時の冷媒流れの下流側に位置する熱交換器ほど冷媒流路断面積が小であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
- 前記背面側熱交換器と前記側面側熱交換器を経由する冷媒回路の途中に気液分離器を配置したことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
- 前記背面側熱交換器は前記筐体の底板との間に所定の間隙を置いて配置されるものであり、凝縮時に前記側面側熱交換器から流出した冷媒が流れる冷媒配管は、前記間隙を通り抜ける気流を横切る形で配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の空気調和機の室外機。
