Description
Claims (25)
- 車両運転者に対し、良燃費で車両を運転することを促す指導フィードバックを与える装置であって、
前記車両のアクセル制御アセンブリと連動して前記運転者にフィードバックを与える触覚アクチュエータと、
前記車両運転者が、燃費を向上させる複数の燃料節約設定からの選択を行うことを可能にするヒューマン-マシンインタフェースと、
前記車両が、前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースの前記燃料節約設定に応じた複数の速度閾値および加速度閾値の少なくとも1つの閾値を越えた時に、前記触覚アクチュエータを介して前記運転者に指導フィードバックを与えるように構成された触覚コントローラとを備えた装置。 - 前記触覚コントローラは、市街地走行体制および高速道路走行体制のために異なる速度閾値を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記加速度閾値は、少なくとも部分的に車両速度によって決まることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記市街地走行体制および高速道路走行体制のための前記速度閾値の少なくとも1つは、前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースの前記各燃料節約設定によって異なることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記車両のブレーキ制御アセンブリと連動する触覚アクチュエータをさらに備え、前記触覚コントローラは、減速度に関する複数の閾値の少なくとも1つを越えたことを受けて、前記ブレーキ制御アセンブリの前記触覚アクチュエータを介して指導フィードバックを提供するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記減速度に関する閾値の1つは、所定の惰性走行時間であり、前記減速度に関する閾値の別の1つは、ブレーキ強度を示すことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記触覚コントローラは、前記車両の診断ポートに接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記触覚アクチュエータは、前記アクセル制御アセンブリの固定部品に接着実装された振動モータであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースは、前記車両における多目的インタフェースであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースは、視覚認知可能なディスプレイを有し、前記触覚コントローラは、前記運転者に対し、前記ディスプレイを介してポジティブフィードバックメッセージを伝達するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースは、前記指導フィードバックを含まない設定をさらに有していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 車両運転者に対し、良燃費で車両を運転することを促す指導フィードバックを与えるアフターマーケット装置であって、
前記車両運転者にフィードバックを与え、前記車両のアクセル制御アセンブリへの設置を容易にする取り付け部を有する触覚アクチュエータと、
前記車両の診断ポートに接続するための第1インタフェースと、ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースと通信するための第2インタフェースとを有し、前記車両が、前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースを介して選択可能な燃料節約設定における複数の速度閾値および加速度閾値の少なくとも1つを越えた時に、前記触覚アクチュエータを介して前記運転者に指導フィードバックを与えるように構成された触覚コントローラとを備えた装置。 - 前記触覚アクチュエータの前記取り付け部は、前記アクセル制御アセンブリの一部に速やかに設置できるように、裏面が接着面になっていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のアフターマーケット装置。
- 前記取り付け部は、面ファスナー式の取り付け部であることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載のアフターマーケット装置。
- 前記触覚コントローラは、筐体に収容され、前記ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースは、前記指導フィードバックを含まない設定をさらに有するスイッチであることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のアフターマーケット装置。
- 前記車両のブレーキ制御アセンブリへの設置を容易にする取り付け部を有する第2の触覚アクチュエータをさらに備え、前記触覚コントローラは、前記車両が減速度に関する複数の閾値の少なくとも1つを超えた時に、前記第2の触覚アクチュエータを介して指導フィードバックを与えるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のアフターマーケット装置。
- 前記減速度に関する閾値の1つは、所定の惰性走行時間であり、前記減速度に関する閾値の別の1つは、ブレーキ強度を示すことを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のアフターマーケット装置。
- 車両運転者に対し、良燃費で車両を運転することを促す指導フィードバックを与える方法であって、
前記車両の速度が可変速度閾値を超えた時に、前記車両のアクセル制御アセンブリと連動する触覚アクチュエータを介して指導フィードバックを与えるステップと、
前記車両の加速度が可変加速度閾値を超えた時に、前記触覚アクチュエータを介して指導フィードバックを与えるステップとを備えた方法。 - 前記速度閾値および前記加速度閾値は、ヒューマン-マシンインタフェースを介して選択された燃料節約設定によって決まることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記加速度閾値は、車両速度に応じて変化することを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記速度閾値は、市街地走行および高速道路走行によって変化することを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記車両が減速度に関する複数の閾値の少なくとも1つを越えた時に、前記車両のブレーキ制御アセンブリと連動する触覚アクチュエータを介して指導フィードバックを与えるステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 過去のトリップに基づき、ドライバーに推定走行時間情報を提示するステップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記車両の速度が安定したことを検出するステップと、
燃費が悪化する時は、前記車両運転者が所定量の車両速度上昇を指示するまで、前記車両運転者が介入せずとも前記車両の速度を不用意に上昇させないように速度制御するセミクルーズモードに入るステップとをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の方法。 - 車両運転者が一定速度を維持することを支援する方法であって、
前記車両の速度が安定したことを検出するステップと、
燃費が悪化する時は、前記車両運転者が所定量の車両速度上昇を指示するまで、前記車両運転者が介入せずとも前記車両の速度を不用意に上昇させないように速度制御するセミクルーズモードに入るステップとを備える方法。
