Claims (60)
- 組織部位に減圧組織治療を施す方法において:
患者の皮膚組織を介してチューブを経皮的に挿入して、当該組織部位近傍に少なくとも一の通路を有するチューブの遠位端を配置するステップと;
前記組織部位近傍に前記チューブに連結したバルーンを配置するステップと;
前記バルーンを膨張させて、前記組織部位近傍にボイドを切り取って形成するステップと;
複数の流路を有するマニホールドを前記経路を通って前記組織部位へ送達するステップと;
前記マニホールドを、前記流路の少なくとも一つが前記組織部位と接触するように配置するステップと;
前記マニホールドの流路を介して前記組織部位に減圧を与えるステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において:
前記マニホールドを送達する前に前記バルーンを破裂させるステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記チューブがカテーテルであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記チューブがカニューレであることを特徴とする方法。

内視鏡、超音波、蛍光透視法、聴診、触診からなる群から選択された局在化技術を用いて前記組織部位に前記マニホールドを案内するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記マニホールドが更に:
主流路周囲に設けられ、前記組織部位に対して近位に配置するように構成された可撓性の壁であって、当該可撓性の壁を通る複数の開口を具え、前記主流路に連通している可撓性の壁と;
前記主流路内に配置した閉塞防止部材と;
前記主流路に流動的に連結されて、当該主流路に負圧を送達する第1の導管と;
前記主流路又は前記第1の導管の出口の少なくと一方に対する近位に少なくとも一の出口を有して、前記主流路又は前記第1の導管の出口の少なくと一方に負圧をかけている間にガス流体でパージする第2の導管と;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項23に記載の方法において、前記閉塞防止部材が、前記可撓性の壁の内側表面に設けられ、前記主流路内に延在する複数の突起であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項23に記載の方法において、前記閉塞防止部材が前記主流路内に配置した多孔性材料であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記マニホールドが更に:
可撓性バリヤと;
当該可撓性バリヤの近傍に配置した多孔性材料であって、複数の流路を具える多孔性材料と;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 組織部位に減圧組織治療を施す方法において;
患者の皮膚組織を介してチューブを経皮的に挿入して、当該組織部位近傍に少なくとも一の通路を有するチューブの遠位端を配置するステップと;
複数の流路を有するマニホールドを含む不透過性膜の内側スペースに第1の減圧を与えるステップと;
前記不透過性膜と前記マニホールドを前記通路を介して前記組織部位へ送達するステップと;
前記不透過性膜を破って、前記マニホールドを前記組織部位に接触させて配置するステップと;
前記マニホールドの流路を介して前記組織部位へ第2の減圧を与えるステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項27に記載の方法において、前記チューブがカテーテルであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項27に記載の方法において、前記チューブがカニューレであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項27に記載の方法において:
前記不透過性膜が、前記不透過性膜の末端側終端にシールを具え;

前記不透過性膜の末端側終端を貫通するステップと;
前記不透過性膜の貫通した末端側終端を通って前記マニホールドを押すステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項27に記載の方法において、前記不透過性膜が、身体組織あるいは体液の存在下で溶解可能であることを特徴とする方法。

前記主流路に流体的に連結された少なくとも一の出口を有し、前記主流路に減圧を送達する第1の導管と;
前記主流路又は前記第1の導管の少なくとも一の出口に隣接した少なくとも一の出口を有し、減圧を与えている間に前記主流路と前記第1の導管の出口の少なくとも一方を流体でパージする第2の導管と;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項34に記載の方法において、前記閉塞防止部材は、前記可撓性壁の内側表面に配置され、前記主流路に延在する複数の突起であることを特徴とする方法。

- 請求項52に記載の方法において、前記組織部位を切り取るステップが更に:
前記不透過性膜を破る前であって、前記不透過性膜と前記マニホールドを前記組織部位に送達した後に、前記不透過性膜の内側スペースに高まる圧力をかけて前期不透過性膜を膨張させるステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項52に記載の方法において、前記組織部位を切り取るステップが更に:
前記不透過性膜がその内側スペースに流体を注入することによって拡張することを特徴とする方法。 - 減圧組織治療を受ける組織部位を準備する方法において:
前記組織部位近傍に内側スペースを有する不透過性膜を配置するステップと;
前記不透過性膜を膨張させて、前記組織部位近傍を切り取ってボイドを形成するステップと;
前記組織部位近傍のボイドに複数の流路を有するマニホールドを経皮的に送達するステップと;
