Claims (18)
- ステント配置のための装置において、
長手軸を有し、近位端と遠位端と、該近位端と遠位端との間で長手方向に延びる管腔とを有し、ならびに収縮した送達配置から拡張した展開配置へと円周方向に拡張するよう構成されている、ウェブ構造体を規定する壁を備える管状本体であって、
前記ウェブ構造体が複数の相互接続したウェブパターンを備え、各ウェブパターンが複数の隣接ウェブを有してなる管状本体と、
前記管状本体の壁の内側表面に配置される材料であって、塞栓保護を増強し、そして再狭窄および血栓形成の危険性を低下させるよう配置された細孔を備えてなる材料とを含む装置。 - 前記管状本体が、バルーン拡張可能ステント、双安定セルステント、および金属メッシュステントからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記細孔が、約30μm以上の最小幅を有し、これによって、再狭窄および血栓形成の危険性を低下させ、あるいは前記細孔が、約100μm以下の最大幅を有し、これによって、塞栓保護を増強する、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記細孔が、約80μmの平均幅を有する、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記材料が、生体適合性ポリマー、変性熱可塑性ポリウレタン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンテトラフタレート、発泡ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、ナイロン、ポリエチレン、ポリウレタン、ホモロジー材料、自己由来の静脈、非自己由来の静脈、生分解性材料、ポリラクテート、ポリグリコール酸、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記材料上に配置されたコーティングをさらに備える、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記コーティングが、体腔に導入される場合に放出されるよう構成された治療剤を含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記治療剤が、結合した活性基、放射線、遺伝子ベクター、医薬品、および血栓阻害剤からなる群より選択される、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記材料が、前記管状本体の少なくとも外側表面の部分に配置される、請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記材料が、前記管状本体の少なくとも一部の開口部内に焼結されている、請求項1ないし9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細孔が、該細孔を通って血液が流れることを可能にするよう構成されている、請求項1ないし10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、前記管状本体が拡張した展開配置にある場合に、前記管状本体の管腔を再交差させるように構成されている、請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、血管の側枝において配置されるように構成される、少なくとも1つの開口を備える、請求項1ないし12のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 一部の前記細孔が、残りの前記細孔と比較して血管の側枝領域において選択的に変化し得る多孔度を構成し、側方分岐に十分な血液を連続的に送ることを確実にし、ならびに、乱流を減少させて側方分岐内に血栓のない血液を流すのを可能にする格子として作用する、請求項1ないし13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記材料が、不連続な点または規定された面に沿って前記管状本体に付着されている、請求項1ないし14のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記規定された面が、長手方向の継目、螺旋状の継目、および円周状のバンドからなる群より選択される、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記材料が、前記管状本体に、前記ウェブ構造体の大部分に沿って付着されている、請求項1ないし16のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記細孔の直径、密度、形状および/またはパッキング配置が血管の分岐領域において選択的に変化し得て、側方分岐に十分な血液を連続的に送ることを確実にする、請求項1ないし17のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
