Abstract
【解決手段】支持テーブル12により支持された印刷媒体2に向けて紫外線を照射して印刷媒体2に付着したUVインクを硬化させるUVLEDユニットと、UVLEDユニットにより印刷媒体2に付着したUVインクに照射する紫外線の光量を、UVインクを仮硬化させる光量から本硬化させる光量まで調節するコントローラー23と、UVLEDユニットおよびコントローラー23により印刷媒体2に付着したUVインクを仮硬化させた後本硬化させる二段階硬化モードとUVインクを一度の紫外線照射によって本硬化させる一段階硬化モードとを切り替え可能なコントロールユニット20とを備えて構成される。

Claims (3)
- 印刷ヘッドを媒体支持手段により支持された印刷媒体に対向させた状態で前記印刷媒体に対して相対移動させながら前記印刷ヘッドからインクを吐出して前記印刷媒体の表面に所望のプリントを施すインクジェットプリンタにおいて、
前記媒体支持手段により支持された印刷媒体に向けて紫外線を照射して前記印刷媒体に付着したインクを硬化させる紫外線照射手段と、
前記紫外線照射手段により前記印刷媒体に付着したインクに照射する紫外線の光量を、前記インクを仮硬化させる光量から本硬化させる光量まで調節する照射光量制御手段と、
前記紫外線照射手段および前記照射光量制御手段により、前記印刷媒体に付着したインクを仮硬化させた後本硬化させる二段階硬化モードと、前記インクを一度の紫外線照射によって本硬化させる一段階硬化モードとを切り替え可能なモード切替手段とを備えて構成したことを特徴とするインクジェットプリンタ。 - 前記紫外線照射手段を前記印刷媒体に沿って相対移動させる光源移動手段を備え、
前記照射光量制御手段は、前記紫外線照射手段による照射強度および前記光源移動手段による前記紫外線照射手段の移動速度のうち少なくとも一方を調節することにより、前記印刷媒体に付着したインクに照射する紫外線の光量を、前記インクを仮硬化させる光量から本硬化させる光量まで調節可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリンタ。 - 前記紫外線照射手段は、前記印刷媒体に向けて紫外線を照射する発光ダイオードを備えて構成されることを特徴とする請求項1もしくは請求項2に記載のインクジェットプリンタ。
