Claims (17)
- エンジンの過渡的運転期間中において前記エンジンにより排出されるNOxを所定のレベル未満に維持することができるだけの十分な過渡的EGR量を計算する段階と;
前記過渡的運転期間中において実際のEGR量を供給する段階と;
前記過渡的運転期間中において前記実際のEGRレベルを測定する段階と;
前記過渡的運転期間中における前記過渡的EGR量と前記実際のEGR量との間のEGR不足分を計算する段階と;
前記過渡的運転期間中にわたる前記EGR不足分を積分して、EGR不足量を計算する段階と;
前記エンジンの次期実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記エンジンにより排出されるNOxを前記所定のレベル未満に維持することができるだけの十分な次期定常状態EGR量を計算する段階と;
前記エンジンの前記次期実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記次期定常状態EGR量に前記EGR不足量を加えた量を供給する段階とからなるEGR回復方法。 - エンジンの先行実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記エンジンにより排出されるNOxを前記所定のレベル未満に維持することができるだけの十分な先行定常状態EGR量を計算する段階と;
前記エンジンの前記先行実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記先行定常状態EGR量を供給する段階とをさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。 - 前記過渡的運転期間中において前記実際のEGR量を減少させる段階をさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。
- 前記EGR不足分を正規化して、単位なしパラメーターを得る段階をさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。
- 前記積分をビット・マスクにより凍結させる段階をさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。
- 前記積分を負荷しきい値で凍結させる段階をさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。
- 前記エンジンの前記次期実質的定常状態運転期間の持続時間を調節する段階をさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。
- 空燃比が排気煙限界空燃比に近づくと、前記エンジンの前記次期実質的定常状態運転期間中において供給される前記EGR不足量を減少させる段階をさらに含む請求項1のEGR回復方法。

前記過渡的運転期間中において実際のEGR量を供給する手段と;
前記過渡的運転期間中において前記実際のEGRレベルを測定する手段と;
前記過渡的運転期間中における前記過渡的EGR量と前記実際のEGR量との間のEGR不足分を計算する手段と;
前記過渡的運転期間中にわたる前記EGR不足分を積分して、EGR不足量を計算する手段と;
前記エンジンの次期実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記エンジンにより排出される前記エンジンのNOxを前記所定のレベル未満に維持することができるだけの十分な次期定常状態EGR量を計算する手段と;
前記エンジンの前記次期実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記次期定常状態EGR量に前記EGR不足量を加えた量を供給する手段とからなるEGR回復システム。 - 前記エンジンの先行実質的定常状態運転期間中において前記エンジンにより排出されるNOxを前記所定のレベル未満に維持することができるだけの十分な先行定常状態EGR量を計算する手段と;
