Abstract
【解決手段】繊維ウエブ11a,11bを水流交絡させて形成された繊維集合体11を具備する。繊維集合体11は、繊維密度が大きく且つ厚みの小さい第1区域21と、第1区域21よりも繊維密度が小さく且つ第1区域21よりも厚みの大きい第2区域22とを有する。第2区域22は、閉じた形状の第1区域21によって取り囲まれている。第2区域22は複数の凸部31及び凹部32を有する。

Description
該繊維集合体は、繊維密度が大きく且つ厚みの小さい第1区域と、第1区域よりも繊維密度が小さく且つ第1区域よりも厚みの大きい第2区域とを有し、
第2区域が、閉じた形状の第1区域によって取り囲まれており、
第2区域が複数の凸部及び凹部を有する嵩高シートを提供するものである。
繊維ウエブの構成繊維同士を絡合させて繊維集合体を形成し、
多数の凹凸部を有する第1パターニング部材上に多数の開孔を有する第2パターニング部材が設置された凹凸賦形部材上に、該繊維集合体を配し、
該繊維集合体へ向けて高圧水流を噴射して、該開孔内において露出している該凹部内に該繊維集合体の一部を突出させて、該開孔内において露出している該凹部に対応する形状の第2区域を形成すると共に、第2パターニング部材上に位置する該繊維集合体から第1区域を形成する嵩高シートの製造方法を提供するものである。
図4に示す製造装置を用いて図1に示す嵩高シートを製造した。用いた原料は以下の表1に示す通りである。また、水性洗浄剤は、水/エタノール/2−アミノ−2−メチル−1−プロパノール/ドデシルグルコシド(縮合度1.4)/増粘剤(カーボポールETD2020、日光ケミカル社製)=93.73/6/0.1/0.1/0.07(重量比)からなるものであった(粘度:500mPa・s/25℃)。カーボポールETD2020はアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル(炭素数10〜30)共重合体である。水性洗浄剤の不揮発残留成分は0.17%であった。水性洗浄剤の含浸率は350重量%とした。得られたシートについて、髪の毛の捕集率、ワイパーの操作性、ダストの捕集率、表面の毛羽抜け防止性、洗浄剤の1畳目の放出量を、以下の方法で測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
クイックルワイパー〔花王(株)製〕に、凹凸形状が外方を向くようにシートを装着した。30cm×60cmのフローリング(松下電工製 ウッディタイルMT613T)上に約10cmの髪の毛を5本散布し、その上にシートを乗せて一定のストローク(60cm)で2往復清掃してシートに捕集された髪の毛の本数を測定した。この操作を連続6回実施して、30本中何本の髪の毛が捕集されたかを測定した。捕集された髪の毛の数を30で除し、これに100を乗じて、その値を髪の毛の捕集率(%)とした。
クイックルワイパー〔花王(株)製〕にシートを装着した。100cm×100cmのフローリング(松下電工製 ウッディタイルMT613T)上にJIS試験用ダスト7種(関東ローム層、細粒)を0.1g散布し(ハケを用いて全面に均一散布)、フローリングを1往復で4列清掃した。この操作を連続6回した後、汚れたシートを乾燥させて重量(シート+洗浄剤不揮発成分+ダスト)を測定し、含浸前に測定したシート重量と理論上残留する洗浄剤不揮発成分重量を差し引いてダストの捕集量を算出した。捕集されたダストの重量を、散布した全ダスト重量(0.6g=0.1g×6回)で除し、これに100を乗じて、その値をダストの捕集率(%)とした。
クイックルワイパー〔花王(株)製〕に、凹凸形状が外方を向くようにシートを装着して、フローリング板(松下電工製 ウッデイタイルEタイプ KER501)を片手で拭き始める時のワイパーの操作性を以下の基準で評価した。
○:片手で軽く拭け、押してから引く際のターン時にもワイパーの清掃部ヘッドが浮かない。
○〜△:片手で軽く拭けるが、ターン時にもワイパーの清掃部ヘッドが若干浮くことがある。
△:片手で軽く拭けるが、押してから引く際のターン時にワイパーの清掃部ヘッドが浮く。
×:ワイパーを押し始める時に非常に力が必要で、さらにターン時には清掃部ヘッドが逆さにひっくり返ることがある。
シートにおける凹凸形状が形成されている面に対し機械的に摩擦試験を行い、脱落した繊維の量より、以下の基準で評価を行った。
○:ほとんど脱落せず問題ない。
△:若干脱落する。
×:かなり脱落する。
花王(株)製のクイックルワイパーに、凹凸形状が外方を向くようにシートを装着してフローリングを10畳拭き続けた時の1畳あたりに放出される洗浄液量を測定した。1畳拭くごとにシートを清掃部ヘッドから外してその重量を測定することで洗浄液量を測定した。清掃方法は約90cmの距離を1往復拭くのを1ストロークとし、それを1畳の長手方向(180cm)に2列、短手方向(90cm)に4列拭いて1畳の清掃を完結した。
水性洗浄剤の含浸率を250%に変えた以外は実施例1と同様にして、図1に示す形態の嵩高シートを得た。得られた嵩高シートについて、実施例1と同様の測定を行った。その結果を表1に示す。
〔実施例3〕
水性洗浄剤の含浸率を250%に変え、且つ第2パターニング部材として図8に示すものを用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして、図3に示す形態の嵩高シートを得た。得られた嵩高シートについて、実施例1と同様の測定を行った。その結果を表1に示す。
水性洗浄剤の含浸率を250%に変え、且つ第2パターニング部材を用いない以外は実施例1と同様にしてシートを得た。このシートには第1区域21は形成されていない。得られたシートについて、実施例1と同様の測定を行った。その結果を表1に示す。

Claims (7)
- 繊維ウエブを水流交絡させて形成された繊維集合体を具備し、
該繊維集合体は、繊維密度が大きく且つ厚みの小さい第1区域と、第1区域よりも繊維密度が小さく且つ第1区域よりも厚みの大きい第2区域とを有し、
第2区域が、閉じた形状の第1区域によって取り囲まれており、
第2区域が複数の凸部及び凹部を有する嵩高シート。 - 繊維集合体の内部に網状シートが配されており、該繊維集合体の構成繊維が網状シートに交絡している請求項1記載の嵩高シート。
- 第1区域の繊維密度が0.020〜0.65g/cm3で、厚みが0.1〜1.5mmであり、第2区域の繊維密度が0.005〜0.65g/cm3で、厚みが1.0〜5.0mmである請求項1又は2記載の嵩高シート
- 坪量が40〜200g/m2で、繊維集合体の構成繊維の繊維長が20〜100mmである請求項1ないし3の何れかに記載の嵩高シート。
- 第1区域の面積率が20〜90%で、第2区域の面積率が10〜80%である請求項1ないし4の何れかに記載の嵩高シート。
- 第1区域が、多数の小凸部を有する請求項1ないし5の何れかに記載の嵩高シート。
- 請求項1記載の嵩高シートの製造方法であって、
繊維ウエブの構成繊維同士を絡合させて繊維集合体を形成し、
多数の凹凸部を有する第1パターニング部材上に多数の開孔を有する第2パターニング部材が設置された凹凸賦形部材上に、該繊維集合体を配し、
該繊維集合体へ向けて高圧水流を噴射して、該開孔内において露出している該凹部内に該繊維集合体の一部を突出させて、該開孔内において露出している該凹部に対応する形状の第2区域を形成すると共に、第2パターニング部材上に位置する該繊維集合体から第1区域を形成する嵩高シートの製造方法。
