Abstract
【解決手段】紫外線遮蔽剤および/または赤外線遮蔽剤とバインダ成分と多価アルコール系溶媒とを少なくとも配合し、多価アルコールの配合量が50〜95重量%である塗液を、塗液吐出ノズルの先端口径が0.5〜3.0mmである塗装機、さらには、エアーカーテンを発生させるためのブロアを備えた塗装機を用い、塗液吐出ノズルの吐出圧を0.01〜0.098MPaとして、基材に塗布し乾燥して、基材の表面に紫外線遮蔽剤および/または赤外線遮蔽剤を含有した塗膜を形成する。

Description
そこで、本発明は以上のような従来技術の問題点を克服し、耐久性、耐摩耗性に優れ、しかも、塗布むら、色むらが生じ難く、また、斑点、白化、欠損、クラックが生じ難い、紫外線遮蔽剤や赤外線遮蔽剤を含有した塗膜をどのような作業環境下でも形成できる塗装方法を提供するものである。
このため、例えば、建築物の窓ガラスに新築・リフォーム時に簡単に施工でき、また、自動車には給油や洗車の際に簡単に施工できる。このように窓ガラスや自動車のフロントガラス、サイドガラス、後部ガラスなどに紫外線遮蔽性塗膜を形成すると進入する紫外線を遮断でき、それによって物品の日焼け、変色を防止でき、有害な紫外線から人体を守ることができる。また、赤外線遮蔽性塗膜を形成すると、室内や車室内の温度の上昇を抑えることができ、省エネルギーに貢献できる。
下記の塗液をスプレー式温風低圧塗装機を用いて、ソーダガラス板(150×70×6mm)に対してスプレー塗布し、常温乾燥にて塗膜を作製した。乾燥塗布量は2.8g/m2であった。得られた塗膜は透明薄グレイを呈し、近赤外線を40%遮蔽でき、また紫外線を90%遮蔽できた。
塗液の組成
(1)バインダ成分:シリコーン樹脂5重量%
(2)赤外線遮蔽剤:アンチモンをドープした酸化スズ3重量%
(3)赤外線遮蔽剤:酸化ルテニウム1重量%
(4)紫外線遮蔽剤:ベンゾトリアゾール1重量%
(5)溶媒:プロピレングリコール90重量%
塗装機として、高回転型タービンのブロアを備えたスプレー式温風低圧塗装機(チロン社製SG−91)を用いて、次の条件で運転した。
(1)塗液吐出ノズルの先端口径:1.2mm
(2)吐出圧:0.018MPa
(3)吐出量:70ml/分
(4)ブロア送風圧力:0.018MPa
(5)エアーカーテンのエアー風量:2200リットル/分
(6)エアーカーテンのエアー温度:塗装作業の環境温度より15℃高い温度
(7)塗装速度:被塗物の幅1mを3秒間で塗装機を移動させた。
基材として用いたソーダガラス板の前処理として市販のガラスコンパウンドを用いて汚染物質、油分の十分な除去を行ない、さらにイソプロピルアルコールにて洗浄を行った。
下記の塗液を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして塗膜を作製した。乾燥塗布量は8.4g/m2であった。得られた塗膜は透明薄グレイを呈し、近赤外線を40%遮蔽でき、また紫外線を90%遮蔽できた。
塗液の組成
(1)バインダ成分:シリコーン樹脂20重量%
(2)赤外線遮蔽剤:アンチモンをドープした酸化スズ6重量%
(3)赤外線遮蔽剤:酸化ルテニウム1重量%
(4)紫外線遮蔽剤:ベンゾトリアゾール3重量%
(5)溶媒:プロピレングリコール70重量%
温風低圧塗装機の塗液吐出ノズルの先端口径を0.3mmとし、下記条件で運転すること以外は実施例1と同様にして塗膜を作製した。
(1)塗液吐出ノズルの先端口径:0.3mm
(2)吐出圧:0.018MPa
(3)吐出量:18ml/分
(4)ブロア送風圧力:0.018MPa
(5)エアーカーテンのエアー風量:2200リットル/分
(6)エアーカーテンのエアー温度:塗装作業の環境温度より15℃高い温度
(7)塗装速度:被塗物の幅1mを3秒間で塗装機を移動させた。
得られた塗膜の乾燥塗布量は0.7g/m2であり、塗布むらが生じた。作製した塗膜は近赤外線遮蔽率10%、紫外線遮蔽率20%であった。
比較例1の温風低圧塗装機を用い、3回重ね塗りする以外は比較例1と同様にして塗膜を作製した。得られた塗膜の乾燥塗布量は2g/m2であったが、未塗布ガラス板に対して斑点や透明性の低下が確認され、塗膜硬度も不充分であった。
Claims (17)
- 紫外線遮蔽剤および/または赤外線遮蔽剤とバインダ成分と多価アルコール系溶媒とを少なくとも配合し、多価アルコールの配合量が50〜95重量%である塗液を、塗液吐出ノズルの先端口径が0.5〜3.0mmである塗装機を用い、塗液吐出ノズルの吐出圧を0.01〜0.098MPaとして、基材に塗布し乾燥して、基材の表面に紫外線遮蔽剤および/または赤外線遮蔽剤を含有した塗膜を形成する塗装方法。
- 多価アルコールが2価アルコールである請求項1に記載の塗装方法。
- 2価アルコールがプロピレングリコールである請求項2に記載の塗装方法。
- 多価アルコールを70〜90重量%配合した塗液を用いる請求項1に記載の塗装方法。
- 塗液吐出ノズルからの吐出量を30〜200ml/分の範囲で塗布する請求項1に記載の塗装方法。
- 塗液中の全固形分濃度が5〜50重量%であって、その塗液中にバインダ成分を4〜49重量%配合した塗液を用いる請求項1に記載の塗装方法。
- エアーカーテンを発生させるためのブロアを備えた塗装機を用いる請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の塗装方法。
- ブロア送風圧力を0.01〜0.098MPaとする請求項7に記載の塗装方法。
- エアーカーテンのエアーの温度を塗装環境温度より少なくとも10℃高くする請求項7または8に記載の塗装方法。
- 基材の幅1m当たり0.3〜30秒間で1回塗布し、風乾またはエアーカーテンのエアーにより乾燥し溶媒を除去して、基材1m2当たり0.01〜30gの乾燥塗布量を得る請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の塗装方法。
- ガラス基材の表面をガラスコンパウンドで汚染物質、油分の除去を行ない、さらにアルコールで洗浄した後、塗液を塗布する請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の塗装方法。
- 基材が建築物のガラス部材の少なくとも一部である請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の塗装方法。
- 基材が自動車のフロントガラス、後部ガラスおよびサイドガラスの少なくとも一部である請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の塗装方法。
