Abstract
【解決手段】布帛表面片付きのプラスチック基材成分をもつ成形プラスチック物品であって、布帛のエッジの少なくとも一部と該エッジに隣接している布帛の表面領域とが成形付加されたプラスチックエッジカバー用成分によって重ね合わされていることを特徴とする成形プラスチック物品。
Description
上述のように、この第一基材成分は、必要なプラスチック基材又は適切に配置されそして十分に接着した布帛表面片をもつ基礎部品を与えるのに適した一般的に知られている成形技術によって製造することができる。好ましい成形技術は射出成形プロセスの過程で射出成形金型中の内部金型表面に適切に配置され十分に固定されたプレカット布帛片を製造することによる射出成形法である。射出成形工程において、熔融プラスチックは金型に注入され、金型を満たし、布帛片を金型形状と同じ形状にしそして同時に布帛片をプラスチックに積層するか接着する。さらに以下で議論するように、布帛片は裏面層をもちそれは基材成分に接着/積層の工程又はプロセスを促進させる。基材を形成し及び/又は布帛を接着させるその他の好適な方法としては圧縮成形、無線周波数(RF)溶接、超音波溶接、熱成形、射出圧縮成形、気相補助射出成形、構造発泡射出成形、微小分子発泡成形技術、積層射出成形、水射出成形、外部気相成形、せん断制御配向成形、及びガス対向圧力射出成形が包含される。
一般に、第一基材成分のように、成形付加されたエッジカバー用成分はポリウレタン、エポキシ又は熱硬化性シリコーンのような熱硬化性プラスチック及びポリカーボネート(“PC”)、ABS、ポリプロピレン(“PP”)、高耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(“HIPS”)、ポリエチレン(“PE”)、ポリエステル、ポリアセチル、熱可塑性エラストマー、熱可塑性ポリウレタン(“TPU”)、ナイロン、アイオノマー(例えば、サーリン)、ポリ塩化ビニル(“PVC”)のような熱可塑性プラスチックスを包含しそしてPC及びABSのようなこれら熱可塑性プラスチックの2以上のブレンド物も包含する広範囲のプラスチック材料から製造することができる。これらの材料は必要とされるコスト及び/又は表面外観、耐火性、弾性、靭性、EMI遮蔽性のような性能特性に寄与する顔料、添加剤及び/又はフィラーを含んでいてもよい。第二成分材料の選択は所望の加工性で結合された第一成分と布帛の望ましい接着性と最終部品の外観及び性能を得ることに依存する。
図1に示されるような本発明に従った部品はほぼ図1から図6に示されるように設計されそして製造される。布帛は、熱的接着剤、ダウ社製接着フィルムを使用してポリカーボネートフィルムを0.005in(約0.015mm)厚みでラミネート(積層)したポリエステル布帛の不織布である。積層は220℃(ロール加熱のための設定温度)の2−ロールラミネーター上で実施した。得られたラミネートを所望のサイズと形状(内部開口部を含む)にプレカットして、布帛が射出金型のキャビティーとコア間の所望の位置に挿入されるときにそれが空の金型キャビティーの末端又はエッジに届かないようにする。
Claims (12)
- 布帛表面片付きのプラスチック基材成分をもつ成形プラスチック物品であって、布帛のエッジの少なくとも一部と該エッジに隣接している布帛の表面領域とが成形付加されたプラスチックエッジカバー用成分によって重ね合わされていることを特徴とする成形プラスチック物品。
- 成形付加されたエッジカバー用成分が射出成形又は圧縮成形されたプラスチック片である請求項1記載の成形物品。
- 成形付加されたエッジカバー用成分が熱硬化性ポリウレタン、熱硬化性エポキシ、熱硬化性シリコーン、及び熱硬化性ポリカーボネート(“PC”)、ABS、ポリプロピレン(“PP”)、高耐衝撃性ポリスチレン(“HIPS”)、ポリエチレン(“PE”)、ポリエステル、ポリアセチル、熱可塑性エラストマー、熱可塑性ポリウレタン(“TPU”)、ナイロン、アイオノマー、ポリ塩化ビニル(“PVC”)及びこれら熱可塑性プラスチックの2以上のブレンド物からなる群から選ばれたプラスチックである請求項2記載の成形物品。
- 空隙又は開口部及び内部布帛エッジを有する請求項1記載の成形物品。
- 布帛が合成皮革又はスエードである請求項1記載の成形物品。
- (a)第一工程でエッジと表面領域を有する布帛材料片の付いた基材成分を成形し、(b)第二工程で布帛のエッジの少なくとも一部と該エッジに隣接している物品表面になることを意図している領域ではない布帛の表面領域とが重なり合っているエッジカバー用成分を成形付加する諸工程からなることを特徴とする布帛表面片付きの成形プラスチック物品の製造方法。
- 布帛片のエッジを重ね合わせるエッジカバー用成分が第二成形工程において射出成形又は圧縮成形で成形付加される請求項6記載の方法。
- 布帛片のエッジを重ね合わせるエッジカバー用成分が第二成形工程において反応射出成形で成形付加される請求項6記載の方法。
- 第二成形工程が(a)主要流れキャビティーがほぼ布帛エッジ周囲領域の周り又は外側にあるエッジカバー用プラスチック成分材料のための主要流れ先導キャビティー及び(b)布帛周囲のエッジにほぼ平行でない方向でエッジカバー用材料の流れを受け入れる布帛エッジキャビティーによる流れ先導効果を使用する請求項7又は8記載の方法。
- 第二成形工程が、エッジカバー用材料の主要流れを、布帛エッジキャビティーを除外した主要流路内に維持しそして布帛エッジキャビティーへの流れを布帛エッジにほぼ平行ではない方向に制限する第一工程の基材成分に配置された流れ制限体による流れ先導効果を使用する請求項7又は8記載の方法。
- 成形流路が第一工程基材成分内に用意されそれが第二工程プラスチック材料の流れをプラスチック部分の1以上の開口部又は空隙の周りの内部布帛エッジに供給する請求項7又は8記載の方法。
- 流路内に衝突面があり第二のプラスチック流れを衝突面から布帛面に向けそして布帛エッジを被覆する請求項7又は8記載の方法。
