1,075,702. Injection moulding eyelets. BARROW HEPBURN & GALE Ltd. Nov. 12, 1965 [Aug. 31, 1964], No. 35567/64. Heading B5A. A plastics eyelet is injection moulded in two stages: first, one head (8) or part thereof is moulded on to a strip (1) between two mould parts (3, 4), Fig. 1 (not shown), then the other head and the stem (13) are moulded between two further mould parts (9, 11), Fig. 2 (not shown). A rebate (6) formed in the first head is filled with material at the second stage to lock the portions together. Part of the eyelet stem may be moulded in the first stage.
