Footwear made of synthetic plastics material is injection moulded in two stages; firstly the upper 11, a thin insole 12 and a heel core 13, and then, after cooling and shrinking of these parts, a main sole 15 and heel cover 16. The parts 11, 12, 13 may be of a different material or colour from the parts 15, 16.
