Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 互いに間隔をあけて配置された2本のビードコアの間に設けらたカーカス と、このカーカスの外側でタイヤ支持面と接触するトレッドを支持するベルト集 合体を含む中央クラウン領域とを有する、重荷重用タイヤの改良されたトレッド であって、 タイヤ外表面に沿って円周方向に延びた主トレッド溝によって形成される複数 の主リブと、溝幅が約1.5mm以下の狭いショルダー溝によって主リブから離され た犠牲リブとを有し、複数の主リブはタイヤ支持面と接触するトレッド表面上の 主トレッド幅部を形成し、犠牲リブは主トレッド幅部の横側でタイヤ支持面と接 触し、 犠牲リブはトレッド幅の約2.5%〜約12%の表面幅を有し、犠牲リブは主リブ の横方向プロフィルラインから放射方向に新品タイヤで約0.5〜約2.0mmだけオフ セットして凹んでいることを特徴とする、タイヤの偏磨耗を減らすタイヤトレッ ド。 2. 犠牲リブの表面幅が主トレッド幅の約5〜約10%である請求項1に記載の タイヤトレッド。 3. 犠牲リブの表面幅が約10mm〜約17mmである請求項1に記載のタイヤトレッ ド。 4.犠牲リブの放射方向オフセット凹み量が約1.0mm〜約1.5mmである請求項1に 記載のタイヤトレッド。 5. ショルダー溝の溝幅が約0.2〜約1.5mmである請求項1に記載のタイヤトレ ッド。 6. 主リブのトレッド表面から放射方向に測定して、ショルダー溝が主トレッ ド溝の深さの約90%〜約110%の溝深さを有する求項5に記載のタイヤトレッド 。 7. ショルダー溝が平滑な内側表面を有し、このショルダー溝の放射方向の最 も内側部分の所に、平滑な内側表面を有する少なくとも1.0mmの半径を有する拡 大部を有する請求項6に記載のタイヤトレッド。 8. 亀裂を減らすためにショルダー溝の放射方向の最も内側部分の所に滑らか に湾曲する内側表面を有する少なくとも1.0mmの半径を有する拡大部を有する請 求項1に記載のタイヤトレッド。 9. 溝幅が約1.0mm以下である請求項1に記載のタイヤトレッド。 10. ショルダー溝の溝幅が約0.2〜約1.0mmである請求項8に記載のタイヤトレ ッド。 11. ショルダー溝の溝幅が約0.2〜約0.4mmである請求項8に記載のタイヤトレ ッド。 12. 主リブが主トレッド幅の両側部エッジにサイプを有し、このサイプはショ ルダー溝から約15〜35°の角度で横方向に延び且つトレッド面に対する垂線から 0°〜約20°の角度で後方に傾斜している請求項1に記載のタイヤトレッド。 13. ショルダー溝の深さ(D-H)に犠牲リブの外側ショルダーの傾き(M)を 掛けたものを横方向表面幅(C)で割ったもので定義される犠牲リブの形状係数 (SF=(D-H)×M/C)が約0.2である請求項1に記載のタイヤトレッド。 14. 長距離輸送車両のステアリング車軸で用いられる重荷重トラック用タイヤ のトレッド磨耗を改良するためのタイヤトレッドであって、 主トレッド幅部全体に内側第1リブを含めて少なくとも4本の円周方向リブを 有する主トレッド部分を有し、主トレッド部分は主溝によって互いに分離され、 この主溝は主トレッド幅部の両側面エッジ間でタイヤの外側表面に沿って延びて おり、主トレッド部分のトレッド面は主トレッドの横方向プロフィルラインを規 定し、トレッドの各側面エッジには各々一つの犠牲リブが設けられ、この犠牲リ ブは各側面エッジに隣接した狭いショルダー溝によって内側第1リブから離され ており、 各犠牲リブの横方向表面幅は約10mm〜約17mmであり、 狭いショルダー溝は約0.2〜約1.5mmの横方向幅と、主溝の深さの約90%〜約11 0%の溝深さとを有し、 狭いショルダー溝はその放射方向内側端部に亀裂を減らすための拡大部を有し 、 犠牲リブの表面部分は、横方向プロフィルラインを滑らかに延ばした延長線か ら放射方向内側にオフセットしてタイヤの放射方向内側へ凹んでおり、このオフ セット量は約0.5mm〜約1.5mmである、トレッド磨耗が改良されるタイヤトレッド 。 15. 狭いショルダー溝の拡大部が半径が少なくとも1.0mmである滑らかに湾曲 した内側表面を有する請求項14に記載のタイヤトレッド。 16.狭いショルダー溝の横方向幅が約1.0mm以下である請求項14に記載のタイヤ トレッド。 17. 各内側第1リブが、狭いショルダー溝に対して垂直な線から約15〜35°だ け傾いて横方向へ延び且つトレッド面に対する垂線から約5°〜約15°だけ後方 に傾斜したサイプを軸方向外エッジに沿って形成することを特徴とする請求項14 に記載のタイヤトレッド。 18. 狭いショルダー溝の深さ(D-H)に犠牲リブの外側ショルダーの傾き(M) を掛けたものを横方向表面幅(C)で割ったもので定義される犠牲リブの形状係 数(SF=(D-H)×M/Cが約0.2である請求項14に記載のタイヤトレッド。 19. 犠牲リブの上側表面が横方向プロフィルラインから放射内側方向へむかっ て傾斜する面であり、狭いショルダー溝では前記の放射方向オフセット量を有し 、その傾斜角が15°以下である請求項15に記載のタイヤトレッド。 20. 傾斜角が0°で、横方向プロフィルラインからの放射方向オフセット量が 一定である請求項19に記載のタイヤトレッド。
