Abstract

A találmány tárgya extrudált, lényegében zártcellás polisztirol hab,amely javított égésgátoltságot mutat csökkentett mennyiségű brómozottégésgátló adalék alkalmazása mellett, valamint ilyen tulajdonságokkalrendelkező hab előállítására alkalmas habosítható gél. A habelőállítására polisztirolt egy új égésgátló készítménnyel extrudálnak,amely a) egy foszfát vegyületet, előnyösen TPP-t, b) 100%polisztirolra vonatkoztatva kevesebb mint 2,5% HBCD-t és adott esetbenc) egy folyásjavítót, például dimetil-difenil-butánt tartalmaz. Azextrúziós eljárásban habosítószert alkalmaznak, melyet előnyösen aszén-dioxid vagy szén-dioxid, víz, alkohol, éter és szénhidrogénekkettő vagy több komponensű keverékei vagy fluorozott szénhidrogének,alkoholok és szénhidrogének elegye közül választanak ki. Az égésgátlókészítményben a foszfátvegyület alkalmazása lehetővé teszi a brómozottvegyület mennyiségének csökkentését, és a habosítási hőmérsékletcsökkentését, így alacsonyabb sűrűségű habot kapnak.
