Abstract

112,811. Garoff, N. Jan. 24, 1917. Spray carburettors. -Additional air is admitted tangentially into the mixing chamber C (shown in cross-section) through n converging passage Y, the outer and larger end of which is controlled by a spring- loaded suction-actuated valve A. The converging passage produces an increased velocity and whirling effect. The main air inlet is shown at L and the fuel inlet at E.
