Abstract

215,488. Dexter, A. Feb. 16, 1923. Spray carburettors.-The air inlet 7 is of constricted conical form, the apex of the cone coinciding approximately with the outlet orifice 10 of the fuel nozzle 8, the axis of which is inclined to the axis of the air inlet at an angle of approximately 75‹. The casing 3 is connected to the induction pipe at 4. contains a throttle valve 15 and is provided at the inlet end with a removable plug 6 having the conical aperture 7. Fuel is supplied from the float chamber 1 through passages 14, 12.
