Abstract
26,912. Fagard, J. April 22, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-An auxiliary nozzle g used alone at starting receives its supply of fuel from a tube t' descending into a chamber t open to the atmosphere and in communication through a restricted orifice t<2> with the main fuel supply-pipe, the resistance to the passage of fuel in the pipes being arranged so that, during normal running of the engine, the fuel level in the chamber t falls below the end of the pipe t', and the nozzle g is thus rendered inoperative. At starting, the flow of fuel to the nozzle g does not abstract fuel from the main nozzle.
