Spray carburettors.-The area of the air passage b at the nozzle d is varied by a sliding internally-coned choke-tube c adjustable through Bowden wires m attached to lugs o. Fuel passes to the nozzle through a restricted orifice h, which may be submerged, and is mixed with air from a conduit i, the inlet k to which may be adjustable. The choke-tube may uncover an air port, which may be on the mixture side of the nozzle.
