157,809. Homa Fabrik f³r Apparateund Maschinenbau. Aug. 1, 1917, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-Fuel in its passage from the float chamber 33 to the nozzle 8 passes through the annular passage 34 formed between a bore 12 and a plug 10, and is aerated by air admitted through an axial bore 13 in the plug 10 and entering the annular fuel film through passages 14 which are transverse to the direction of fuel flow. The inlet of air to the bore 13 is controlled by an adjustable plug 18 provided with passages 19, and the fuel supply is controlled by passages 16, 15 in the plug 10. A nozzle 32 to which fuel and air are similarly supplied is provided for slow-running. The mixture is controlled by a rotary throttle 3 having a tongue 21 for cutting out the main nozzle 8.
