Claims (14)
1. Förfarande för producering av en sammansatt struktur av en metali-matris, vilken struktur innefattar en fast metallmatris av en alumi-5 niumlegering som bäddar in ett keramiskt fyllnadsämne, vilken alumi-niumlegering innehäller en diskontinuerlig aluminiumnitridfas, k ä n -netecknat av, att det innefattar: a) att man utgär frän en aluminiumlegering som innefattar aluminium och 10 ätminstone ca 1 viktprocent magnesium och en permeabel massa av keramiskt fyllnadsämne; b) att man i närvaro av en gas som utgörs av cirka 10-100 volymprocent kväve och resten av icke-oxiderande gas, bringar nämnda aluminiumlege- 15 ring i smält tillständ i kontakt med nämnda permeabla massa av keramiskt fyllnadsämne vid en temperatur inom omrädet 700-1200°C, och infil-trerar nämnda permeabla massa med nämnda smälta aluminiumlegering, varvid nämnda infiltrering av nämnda permeabla massa inträffar spon-tant; 20 c) efter önskad omfattning pä infiltreringen av nämnda massa tilläter man nämnda smälta aluminiumlegering att bli fast i form av en fast metallmatrisstruktur, som bäddar in nämnda keramiska fyllnadsämne. 25
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att det keramiska fyllnadsämnet väljes frän en grupp som bestär av oxider, karbider, borider och nitrider och material med keramisk be-läggning. 30
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda ätminstone ett keramiskt ämne innefattar ätminstone ett fyllnadsämne valt frän en grupp som bestär av kiselkarbid, zirkoniumoxid, titandiborid, aluminiumnitrid och ett kolsubstrat med keramisk belägg-ning. 35 30

9. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda temperatur höjs inom nämnda temperaturomräde för att öka mängden diskontinuerlig aluminiumnitridfas som är närvarande i matrisen.

Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att gasen som nämns i punkt b) innefattar i huvudsak kväve och tempera· turen vid vilken den smälta aluminiumlegeringen bringas i kontakt med den permeable massan av keramiskt ämne är 1100-1200°C, varvid det bildas en diskontinuerlig fas av aluminiumnitrid i den permeabla massan dä den 15 permeabla massan infiltreras med nämnda smälta aluminiumlegering.
