Aunque la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO esté parcial o totalmente solidificada, se recupera la fluidez mediante agitación o removido vigoroso, y el tamaño de partícula volumétrico medio se vuelve de 80 nm o menos y el tamaño de partícula a una acumulación del 90% (D90) se vuelve de 160 nm o menos.
El método para fabricar la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención es un método para mezclar el disolvente orgánico que contiene alcohol como componente principal (es decir, disolvente de alcohol), el estabilizador de dispersión, las partículas finas de ITO y el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, y dispersar las partículas finas de ITO. La presente invención incluye este método para fabricar la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO.
En el método para fabricar la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención, como aspecto específico de mezclar el disolvente de alcohol, el estabilizador de dispersión, las partículas finas de ITO y el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, estos componentes pueden mezclarse simultáneamente, o puede prepararse previamente una disolución mezclada que contiene el disolvente de alcohol, el estabilizador de dispersión y las partículas finas de óxido de indio dopado con estaño y puede añadirse la disolución mezclada al plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, dispersando de ese modo las partículas finas de óxido de indio dopado con estaño en el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, o pueden dispersarse las partículas finas de óxido de indio dopado con estaño en el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia añadiendo el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia a la disolución mezclada. Como plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, puede usarse un plastificante que contiene un disolvente de alcohol y/o un estabilizador de dispersión. La razón de composición de la dispersión puede ajustarse mediante evaporación hasta que la concentración del disolvente orgánico que contiene alcoholes como componente principal alcanza una concentración predeterminada.
En la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención, puede prepararse previamente una disolución mezclada que contiene una alta concentración de partículas finas de ITO dispersas en la misma y puede diluirse la disolución mezclada con el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, o un plastificante para una película de capa intermedia que contiene el disolvente de alcohol y el estabilizador de dispersión hasta que la concentración de las partículas finas de ITO alcanza una concentración predeterminada. En la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención, un procedimiento de dilución de este tipo hace posible obtener una dispersión de partículas finas de ITO libre de choque de disolvente, en la que el tamaño de partícula volumétrico medio de partículas finas de ITO es de 80 nm o menos, y el tamaño de partícula a una acumulación del 90% (D90) es de 160 nm o menos, seleccionando apropiadamente el plastificante para una película de capa intermedia, el disolvente de alcohol y el

estabilizador de dispersión.
En el método para fabricar la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención, el aparato usado para mezclar y dispersar no está específicamente limitado. Por ejemplo, puede usarse una extrusora, un plastógrafo, un molino de bolas, un molino de perlas, una trituradora con arena, una amasadora, una mezcladora Banbury y cilindro de calandrado.
Usando una composición de resina obtenida mezclando la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención con la resina, puede fabricarse una película de capa intermedia para vidrio laminado con propiedades de blindaje frente a rayos térmicos. Este vidrio laminado puede tener excelentes características ópticas y excelentes propiedades de blindaje térmico porque las partículas finas de ITO están altamente dispersadas.
En la película de capa intermedia, las partículas finas de ITO se dispersan preferiblemente de tal manera que el tamaño de partícula promedio sea de 80 nm o menos. En el caso en el que el tamaño de partícula promedio es de más de 80 nm, se produce una intensa dispersión de luz visible debido a las partículas finas de ITO y la película de capa intermedia resultante puede ser inferior en cuanto a transparencia. Como resultado, el valor de turbidez empeora cuando el vidrio laminado se ensambla y, por tanto, se vuelve imposible obtener la alta transparencia requerida para un vidrio frontal de automóviles.
En la película de capa intermedia, las partículas finas de ITO se dispersan preferiblemente de tal manera que el número de partículas que tienen un tamaño de partícula de 100 nm o más es de una por m2 o menos. Es decir, las partículas finas de ITO se dispersan comúnmente de tal manera que, cuando se fotografía una película de capa intermedia con blindaje frente a rayos térmicos para vidrio laminado y se observa mediante un microscopio electrónico de transmisión, no se encuentran partículas finas de ITO que tienen un tamaño de partícula de 100 nm o más o, si las hubiera, el número de partículas finas de ITO que tienen un tamaño de partícula de 100 nm o más es únicamente de una por m2. Cuando se fabrica un vidrio laminado usando la película de capa intermedia en tal estado de dispersión, el vidrio laminado resultante tiene un bajo valor de turbidez y es excelente en cuanto a la transparencia y las propiedades de blindaje térmico. La observación se lleva a cabo usando un microscopio electrónico de transmisión (modelo H-7100FA, fabricado por Hitachi, Ltd.) a una tensión de aceleración de 100 kV.
La resina que va a mezclarse con la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO de la presente invención no está específicamente limitada. Por ejemplo, puede ser una resina conocida que se usa generalmente como resina transparente de la película de capa intermedia para vidrio laminado. Los ejemplos específicos de la resina incluyen resina de polivinilacetal, resina de poliuretano, resina de etileno-acetato de vinilo, resina de copolímero acrílico que incluye, como unidad constituyente, ácido acrílico o ácido metacrílico, o derivados de los mismos, y resina de copolímero de cloruro de vinilo-etileno-metacrilato de glicidilo. Entre estas resinas, la resina de polivinilacetal es preferible. Estas resinas pueden fabricarse fácilmente mediante un método conocido o un método análogo al método conocido.
La resina de polivinilacetal no está específicamente limitada siempre que sea una resina de polivinilacetal obtenida mediante la acetalización de poli(alcohol vinílico) con aldehído, y es de manera particularmente preferible polivinilbutiral. El poli(alcohol vinílico) se obtiene habitualmente mediante la saponificación de poli(acetato de vinilo), y se usa generalmente un poli(alcohol vinílico) que tiene un grado de saponificación del 80 al 99,8% molar.
El peso molecular y la distribución de peso molecular de la resina de polivinilacetal no están específicamente limitados. En vista de la conformabilidad y las propiedades físicas, el límite inferior del grado de polimerización de la resina de poli(alcohol vinílico) como material es preferiblemente de 200 y el límite superior es preferiblemente de 3000. En el caso en el que el grado de polimerización es de menos de 200, el vidrio laminado resultante puede ser inferior en cuanto a la resistencia a la penetración. Por otra parte, en el caso en el que el grado de polimerización es de más de 3000, la película de resina es inferior en cuanto a la conformabilidad y también la película de resina tiene una rigidez demasiado alta, dando como resultado una escasa procesabilidad. El límite inferior del grado de polimerización es más preferiblemente de 500 y el límite superior es más preferiblemente de 2000.
Además, el aldehído usado para la acetalización no está específicamente limitado. En general, se usa un aldehído que tiene de 1 a 10 átomos de carbono. Los ejemplos del mismo incluyen n-butilaldehído, isobutilaldehído, nvaleraldehído, 2-etilbutilaldehído, n-hexilaldehído, n-octilaldehído, n-nonilaldehído, n-decilaldehído, formaldehído, acetaldehído y benzaldehído. Entre estos aldehídos, n-butilaldehído, n-hexilaldehído y n-valeraldehído son preferibles, y butilaldehído que tiene 4 átomos de carbono es particularmente preferible.
El polivinilacetal es preferiblemente polivinilbutiral acetalizado por butilaldehído. Teniendo en cuenta las propiedades físicas requeridas, estas resinas de acetal pueden mezclarse apropiadamente en combinación. Además, puede usarse apropiadamente una resina de copolivinilacetal en combinación con aldehído en la acetalización. El límite inferior del grado de acetalización de la resina de polivinilacetal usada en la presente invención es preferiblemente del 40% y el límite superior es preferiblemente del 85%. El límite inferior es más preferiblemente del 60% y el límite superior es más preferiblemente del 75%.

(L) Medición goniofotométrica de película de capa intermedia y vidrio laminado
Usando un goniofotómetro automático (GP-200, fabricado por Murakami Color Research Laboratory) y usando una lámpara de halógeno como fuente de luz, se determinó la distribución de luz reflejada a un ángulo de incidencia de 45 grados. Se recibe luz a un ángulo dentro de un intervalo de desde -90 hasta 90 grados y se midió un valor a 0 grados entre la distribución de luz reflejada. Tras medir un vidrio laminado obtenido interponiendo una película de capa intermedia que no contenía partículas finas de ITO dispersadas en la misma entre dos hojas de vidrio transparente, se determinó el valor a 0 grados y se tomó el valor resultante como referencia. Se realizó la medición del vidrio laminado para la evaluación y se tomó el valor obtenido restando la referencia del valor medido como un valor de reflexión medido. La medición se realizó en las siguientes condiciones.

- Estado de dispersión de partículas finas de ITO en película de capa intermedia
Tras preparar copos ultrafinos de la película de capa intermedia usando un microtomo, se fotografió la distribución de partículas finas de ITO y se observó en las siguientes condiciones usando un microscopio electrónico de transmisión (TEM, modelo H-7100FA, fabricado por Hitachi, Ltd.). La toma de fotografías se llevó a cabo en el intervalo de 3 m X 4 m a 20.000 aumentos y se amplió en el momento de la impresión. Se sometió la imagen obtenida a una observación visual, se midieron los tamaños de partícula de todas las partículas finas de ITO en el alcance anteriormente observado, y se calculó el tamaño de partícula promedio como el tamaño de partícula volumétrico medio. En este caso, se decidió que el tamaño de partícula de partícula fina de ITO era el más largo de la partícula fina de ITO. Además, contando el número de las partículas finas que tenían un tamaño de partícula de 100 nm o más dentro del alcance observado anteriormente mencionado, dividiéndolas entre 12 m2 de un espacio observado para calcular el número de partículas por m2.

- Adhesión de película de capa intermedia
Se evaluó la adhesión de la película de capa intermedia al vidrio en cuanto a un valor de pummel (golpeo). Debe entenderse que cuanto mayor es el valor de pummel, mayor es el grado de adhesión al vidrio, mientras que cuanto menor es el valor de pummel, menor es el grado de adhesión al vidrio. El método de prueba es el siguiente. En primer lugar, se dejó en reposo el vidrio laminado a una temperatura de -18 0,6ºC durante 16 horas y después se trituró con un martillo que tenía una cabeza que pesaba 0,45 kg hasta que los fragmentos de vidrio tenían 6 mm o menos de diámetro. Se estimó el grado de exposición de la película tras la exfoliación parcial de vidrio mediante comparación con muestras límite clasificadas y se expresó el resultado en el valor de pummel según el programa mostrado a continuación en la tabla 3. Preferiblemente se ajusta el grado de adhesión de la película de capa intermedia al vidrio de modo que el valor de pummel está dentro de un intervalo de desde 3 hasta 6.
Ejemplos
Ejemplo 1
(Preparación de dispersión de partículas finas de ITO)
Se mezclaron 10 partes en peso de partículas finas de ITO (tamaño de partícula promedio primario: 20 nm,constante de red cristalina: 10,12 Å), 1 parte en peso de un compuesto de éster del ácido fosfórico de alquil éter de polioxietileno como dispersante, 2 partes en peso de ácido 2-etilhexanoico, 3 partes en peso de acetilacetona, 4 partes en peso de etanol como disolvente orgánico y 80 partes en peso de di-2-hexanoato de trietilenglicol (3GO) y se dispersaron para preparar una dispersión de partículas finas de ITO. Esta composición se muestra en la tabla 1. Se diluyó esta dispersión de partículas finas de ITO con di-2-hexanoato de trietilenglicol (3GO) para ajustar la concentración de las partículas finas de ITO al 0,7% en peso para obtener una dispersión de partículas finas de ITO para la evaluación. En la tabla 2, se muestran la transmitancia de luz visible (Tv), la transmitancia de radiación solar (Ts), el valor de turbidez, el índice de amarillo por reflexión, el valor de reflexión medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica de la dispersión que tiene una concentración de ITO del 0,7% en peso. Con respecto a la

ejemplos (n.º 1 a n.º 12) de la presente invención muestran alta transmitancia de luz visible (Tv), bajo valor de turbidez y alto valor absoluto del índice de amarillo por reflexión en comparación con las muestras comparativas (n.º 16 a n.º 21, n.º 25 a n.º 27). Los vidrios laminados de los ejemplos (n.º 1 a n.º 12) de la presente invención muestran un valor extremadamente bajo medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica, un tamaño de partícula volumétrico
5 medio extremadamente bajo y un número extremadamente bajo de partículas que tienen un tamaño de partícula mayor de 100 nm en comparación con las muestras comparativas (n.º 16 a n.º 21, n.º 25 a n.º 27). En todas las muestras, el valor de pummel fue de 4 y se controló dentro de un intervalo preferido.
La muestra n.º 13 que no contenía ácido n-butírico como estabilizador de dispersión y la muestra n.º 14 que no
10 contenía acetilacetona como estabilizador de dispersión son excelentes en cuanto a la transmitancia de luz visible, transmitancia de radiación solar, valor de turbidez, índice de amarillo por reflexión, valor de reflexión medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica y valor de pummel.
En el caso de la muestra comparativa n.º 15 en la que las partículas finas de ITO tenían una constante de red
15 ligeramente grande, la razón de la transmitancia de radiación solar con respecto a la transmitancia de luz visible no está dentro del intervalo de la presente invención. En el caso de las muestras comparativas (n.º 16 a n.º 21, n.º 25 a n.º 27), el valor de turbidez de la dispersión de partículas finas de ITO es de más del 1,0% y el índice de amarillo por reflexión es considerablemente menor de -20 y además el valor de reflexión medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica es de más de 40. El valor de turbidez de la película de capa intermedia para vidrio laminado es de
20 más del 1,0% y el índice de amarillo por reflexión está dentro de un intervalo de desde -15 hasta -18 y además el valor de reflexión medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica está dentro de un intervalo de desde 29 hasta 66, y por tanto ninguno de ellos está dentro del intervalo de la presente invención.
En el caso de las muestras comparativas n.º 22 a n.º 24, el valor de turbidez de la dispersión de partículas finas de
25 ITO es de más del 1,0% y el índice de amarillo por reflexión es de menos de -20 y además el valor de reflexión medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica es de más de 50. En el caso de las muestras n.º 22 y n.º 23, el valor de turbidez de la película de capa intermedia para vidrio laminado es del 1,0% o menos, mientras que el valor de turbidez es de más del 1,0% en el caso de la muestra n.º 24. El índice de amarillo por reflexión está dentro de un intervalo de desde -14 hasta -18 y el valor de reflexión medido mediante una medición goniofotométrica está dentro
30 de un intervalo de desde 38 hasta 66, y por tanto ninguno de ellos está dentro del intervalo de la presente invención.
